CP Rewritten: Operation Blackout – FULL Guide & Mascot Tracker

This party has now ended.

Herbert has successfully taken over the island and Operation Blackout has begun on Club Penguin Rewritten until December 6th! The party is amazing and this post will be giving you a full guide to complete all the activities during the event and collect all the items!

Multiple mascots will be visiting this party, but Dot, Jet Pack Guy and Herbert are the only confirmed ones. This manual tracker will hopefully help you find some mascots during the event, but please be aware it is not automatic!

Missions

Every few days, missions can be unlocked to gain cool rewards and help save all the captured agents! To view your Mission Interface, click the button on the top right.

Mission 1:

The first thing which you will need to do is equip either the Crab Costume for free or Herbert’s Outfit for 500 coins! Then click the “Go There!” button to be brought to this room.

Wear either your polar bear costume or your crab costume and enter through the green door on the left. You will not be able to get through without wearing a special outfit!

This will bring you to an awesome room, but you will not be able to get down from the tube! To explore the rest of this room, enter from the Ski Village. As such, keep going through the tube into the door!

You will arrive at this room, so click the locked computer to start access to Terminal One. After confirming you want to break entry, a puzzle will appear! You can slide blocks to make room for the key to enter. To slide blocks, use your mouse to drag it where you want it to go.

1. Move the block on the far right down to the empty space below it
2. Slide the key across the screen to complete the puzzle

You can now proceed to the next mission!

Mission 2: 

Firstly, equip the Grappling Hook from the Mission Interface and make sure you are wearing it! Then click the “Go There!” button to shut down security terminal two.

You’ll be taken to this room again, but this time, click the door! Your grappling hook will pull the lever to make it open, so click the door again to enter the other side of the room!

Now there will be another security computer! Click it and then click “Yes” to start the next puzzle of the Operation. This puzzle has the same concept as the last one!

1. Slide the block on the second row from the bottom to the left
2. Slide the vertical block down to the bottom
3. Slide the key across to complete the puzzle

You can now proceed to the next mission!

Mission 3: 

Equip the Plasma Laser and make sure you’re wearing it then “Go There!”. Then click the door to cut it down with your laser and click it again to enter Terminal 3!

Head across the railing to the opposite door and you will find yourself in this room…WHAT! It’s Gary and Dot! They’ve been captured! Continue down the path that has an arrow.

Click the locked computer screen to begin the third puzzle!

The third puzzle is a bit more complicated but can still be solved easily!

1. Move the block in the third grid from the bottom row up one block
2. Move the block on the right of the bottom row to the left of the bottom row
3. Move the block on the right of the top row down to the bottom row
4. Slide the key across into the lock

You can now proceed to the next mission!

Mission 4: 

Firstly, equip the Deflection Vest and make sure you are wearing it! Then click “Go There!” to enter Terminal 3. Firstly, click the lasers on the door to pass through it, and then click the computer in Terminal 4.

This puzzle is a bit more complicated but can still be accomplished!

1. Move the block halfway on the left up to the grid above
2. Move the block underneath the key down
3. Move the block on the right column all the way to the left column
4. Move the vertical block on the top row all the way down to the bottom row
5. Slide the key into the slot!

You can now proceed to the next mission!

Mission 5: 

Firstly, equip the “Smoke Goggles” and teleport to Terminal 4 by clicking “Go There!”. Click the door and you will be able to enter, and then click the computer screen to start the puzzle!

1. Slide the key across one block
2. Slide the horizontal block on the same row as the key across one
3. Move the vertical block on the left column up
4. Move the block on the bottom row left
5. Move the other block on the bottom row left
6. Move the block on the right column down
7. Slide the key into the slot

You can now proceed to the next mission!

Mission 6: 

The last mission of Operation Blackout has been released! Equip your Anti-Lava Boots and then waddle into the door across the lava! There will be multiple agents captured, so you’ll need to free them by starting the puzzle. To do this, click the screen with the laser!

1. Slide the horizontal block on the top row to the right
2. Move the block on the left column up
3. Move the other block on the left column up
4. Slide the block on the bottom row to the left
5. Slide the block in the middle down
6. Slide the horizontal block on the second to bottom row to the left
7. Slide the vertical block on the last column down
8. Slide the key across

CONGRATULATIONS! You will now have saved the island, and all the captured EPF agents will finally be free! It seems that the dark times of Herbert’s rule is ending…

Items & Party Rooms

A catalog sheet has been released for this party, containing three different outfits! It can be found in the Dock as well as in Herbert’s Base. To get there, teleport to the entrance using the Mission Interface (see below) and then go into the cave using the ladder!

The next room is a super cool one, with a prison cell and a mysterious vehicle! But in order to reach the room with the items, simply continue down the path.

This will bring you to the next room, containing targets of Herbert, a desk to plan meetings and a way to teleport to rooms across the island! Click the piece of paper on the bottom right to bring up the catalog.

These are the three outfits on sale during this event! You can also buy the Capture Equipment (black shirt) to throw snowballs and have the cool special effect of throwing nets!

There is also a new play based around Herbert at the Stage and though it does not have any Operation Blackout themed items, there are two items that can be bought!

Those are all the items which can be found without completing any missions, however there are plenty more if the missions are completed and more party rooms to be unlocked too!
