CP Rewritten: Gary’s Graveyard Giveaway
Gary has made his first appearance for this year’s Halloween Party on the server Sleet, and he was tracked by the tracker. I just wanted to quickly share the background which he will be offering throughout this party.
It’s called Gary’s Graveyard Giveaway, and it’s quite spooky, featuring a zombie, tombstone, and the full moon.
If you didn’t meet him, don’t worry! He’ll be making plenty of visits throughout the next two weeks. Bear in mind that DJ Maxx will also be visiting with a new background for this party, so good luck catching him too – hopefully the tracker will help you meet both.

I just met Gary at toboggan. 😀😀 now I only have to wait for DJ Maxxx. The queue was not even long I think 400 something.. now when there is a queue I get a great big welcome sign and then the queue appears.. is that something new? To make them shorter and easier to meet mascots? :).

Yep, it is new, and that’s exactly the reason! It was reformed to make it easier to meet mascots.

I believe it’s the technology that goes into preventing people from being disconnected in the queue.

In all honesty, I’m not exactly certain beyond that – my guess is that there were bugs previously where people had trouble joining the queue, or were disconnected from it.

Ok this has nothing to do with the Giveaway, it’s a suggestion. Maybe when a mascot becomes online, there could be a sound effect like a discord ping or something. It would be a nice addition to help people meet mascots. (including me)

That’d be cool! Unfortunately, it’d be difficult to know when to play that sound effect since it requires refreshing, and it wouldn’t be ideal to play it constantly upon refresh.
