CP Rewritten: Klutzy Weekend Meet-Up Times
Generally, mascots appear randomly on Club Penguin Rewritten, and the tracker informs you when they’re online and where they are. However, the team are trying something new for Klutzy’s visits this month. Although he’s made several “random” visits, there’s going to be two scheduled ones.
First Klutzy meet-up:
- Date: Saturday 19th December 2020
- Server: Crystal
- Time: 4am PST (midday GMT)
Second Klutzy meet-up:
- Date: Sunday 20th December 2020
- Server: Mammoth
- Time: 12pm PST (8pm GMT)
In truth, the servers are probably going to be incredibly packed for both of these meet-ups, and it’ll likely be extremely difficult to meet Klutzy without logging in a significant time in advance. The tracker should help alleviate some of these worries by sharing whenever else Klutzy is online, so be sure to check that here!

Honestly, I think one of the best things in meeting a mascot, is the shock and the adrenaline of knowing he’s actually online. this ideia of scheduling is kinda interesting, but I hope this doesn’t become a thing.

Unpopular opinion, but I think what CPR is doing is helpful. Some people have busy lives and cannot stay on Discord 24/7, waiting for a mascot to spawn. I agree that random visits are fun and exciting, but I think a combination of random and scheduled better suits everyone’s needs.
One pet peeve I have is when people say, “Don’t worry, there’ll be more chances to meet him.” or something to that effect. While I understand that they mean well, 10 out of 10 times they have already met the mascot. I tend not to say anything unless I am in the same boat as the person lamenting.
You’re awesome, Torres. Thank you for getting me through this dumpster fire of a year, though December has thus far been spectacular. May it be a foreshadowing of things to come.

this scheduling idea is a nice one, since a lot of people who play the game have busy lifes, but at the end of the day, giving space for this effective and helpful idea may turn the mascot thing into something pretty much not based on luck, which is the whole point of the meeting. But anyway, as I said, I hope this doesn’t become a thing š

Thank you Torres, I’m going to log in ten hours in advanced. Last time the queues for servers were over 1000 penguins and by the time I connected they were gone. While I think this solution is kinda cool, I wish mascots weren’t server specific so that everyone gets a fair chance.

I just wanted to comment to share a piece of helpful advice- when I was waiting for Klutzy yesterday, I got a helpful tip from Honey the moderator. If the room is really packed and you can’t find a mascot, you can simply press the buddy icon at the bottom left, click the middle face without a smile, and it will say everyone inside that room including the mascot. You can click the mascot and then get the background from there. Thank you for all your work put into these trackers Torres, by the way- It really helps! Waddle on!

Great tip! Unfortunately, the Users in Room feature isn’t dependable when there’s mascot-chaos. It always seems to be broken. Definitely worth a shot, though.
Also, when it comes to mascots, relying on luck won’t get you far. Receiving notifications is the only way to have consistent success.

definitely. if a rooms full with a mascot, go to the room next to it (like if the dance club is full go/teleport to the arcade).

What rooms will Klutzy most likely go to?

Probably all the main outdoor ones (Ski Village, Dock, Town, Snow Forts, Plaza, Forest, Cove) along with the Underground Pool and Mine – those are all pretty safe bets.

I arrived at Mammoth thirty minutes before, the queue was at 500. I ate lunch and I’m now at 180, with 1000 queue. That just proves how many people love Club Penguin Rewritten!
