CP Rewritten: Mountain Expedition Expected for this Month
The Mountain Expedition will likely be the main event for April on Club Penguin Rewritten, the team have revealed. It is stated that stu confirmed the news yesterday, and although I don’t have a direct quote of what precisely was said, Gravix (a developer for the game) did state that he “thought” the event would be occurring. It’s also consistent with the cover of this month’s Penguin Style.
Q: Will there be a Mountain Expedition this month?
Gravix: I think so!
For those wondering, the Mountain Expedition was one of the first events on Club Penguin Rewritten, but it presumably is returning since most players wouldn’t have experienced it. Much of the details are still very unclear, including whether there’ll be any changes to the event from 2017, though Gary is expected to visit; he did for the event in 2017, and the team hinted that he’d appear through the usage of a “geeky” emoji.

It’s a good question! I remember wanting the site to be named “Club Penguin insert noun here in 2014, and I vaguely remember thinking one night about potential options. Mountains came to mind, and the site address was available, so I decided to go with it!

Sorry – that’s not very well conveyed. Basically, the team gave a hint of the next mascot that would arrive and they used this one: 🤓.
It’s typically associated with Gary, so it’s widely been considered as a hint that he will visit for the next event.

Hi! I used to spend a lot of time (almost daily!) playing Club Penguin Rewritten itself, but within the last two years, much less so. I still do occasionally, but it’s mostly just logging on to see new updates and blogging it.
