A Short, Temporary Break…

It is following deep consideration that, from today, Club Penguin Mountains will be “on break” for around a week, during which I will also consider its broader future.

I recognise that the main question in response to this will be “why now?”. It’s not really a secret that my attachment to Club Penguin has diminished greatly over the last two years, and since then, I’ve occasionally expressed concerns regarding changes pursued by the game’s administration. However, I can truthfully say that this decision is very much a personal one unrelated to those factors. As such, I won’t go into too much depth, but to give some context: I’ve felt a little strange and empty lately regarding things online, including related to the community, and I think that these sorts of breaks are occasionally necessary in order to help alleviate that.

The aim of this break is mainly to assess how I feel, but I’m conscious of the fact that many people rely on Club Penguin Mountains as a source they regularly check – for that, I’m always grateful, and I will do my best not to disappoint.

Best wishes,

-Torres 126

Don’t worry about it, take a short break, if it’s for you own mental health do not worry, we’ll be just fine. Stay safe.

Always keep you wellbeing as the number one priority! Take a well deserved break, and whatever decision you make for the future of CPM, we’ll support it 🙂

I understand we all need a break now and then. and you have helped so many of us it’s only deserving that you need some rest.

Don’t worry Torres, take your time! You’ve worked hard non-stop to deliver the latest news to us, without getting nothing in return. You deserve this break :), all of us will support you.

If you ever get bored of CPR, you could always make your own game! (Club Penguin Mountains: Waddle On and meet new friends!)

Btw if you wanna talk, contact me on discord! “Yehaw#5798”. We could catch up and stuff!

Awww, I wish you lots of luck and success in whichever path you decide to take! Thank you for all the hard work and helping me (and many other members of the community) keep up-to-date with everything that’s happening in CPRewritten! 🙂

Can’t say its not sad news but the most important thing is that you’re fine and feeling happy, You’ve done more than enough for this community and there’s no way we’ll be disappointed in you. Whatever decision you make we’ll be grateful for all the work you’ve put into this. Thank you!

I know the point of taking a break is not seeing this until later, but when you do see this:
I’m glad you are able to recognise when a break is much needed. Take all the time you need and we look forward to reading your posts 🙂
Thanks for all you do, I would have been totally lost without you. (Also, I get it. I joined a designing website–not going into the specifics of what it is for privacy reasons–and have also had a similar situation. I took several much needed breaks and now I am slowly returning 🙂 Anways, sorry for the random blurb about me)
    Take care and God bless!

No problem Torres. This is a bit late,I know, but well……you could say I am also starting to reduce my interest towards CPR. Its just not the same, and while its partly because the HTML5 brought SO many changes but also because I just have different interests. 😅 I did not mean for it to become my story, I just wanted to say I can understand that quite well as I have been feeling less and less inclined towards CPR. I still love the thrill of chasing a mascot, playing those mini games and shopping for monthly items, but yeah…
Anyway, hope you get your focus set on what you like ! I support this website, because this is one of the best I have seen in my life, and I hope this website runs for a long time ;). GL !

I have been taking a long break from CPR anyway. Maybe, you could try blogging about something else on another website. Whatever descision you make, good luck. 🙂

Hope you’re ok, I can understand how you must feel very separate from the community at times. May I ask, could you elaborate on “I’ve occasionally expressed concerns regarding changes pursued by the game’s administration”. I would like to hear your concerns.

Hi Torres126! I’ve been a follower of your content for a little while now and just wanted to let you know that I hope everything goes well for you. Don’t feel too guilty if you decide you want to move onto bigger and better things. I don’t want to speak for everyone else, but I personally really appreciated all that you’ve done and this website was a big help in getting me back into Club Penguin after not playing it for maybe more than 10 years. I only play occasionally when I feel like reliving some of my childhood nostalgia, so I can only imagine how taxing it can be to constantly have to keep up with this type of content. Nevertheless, I wanted to say that, no matter you choose to do in regard to the future of this website, know that there are people who appreciate all that you have done so far and I hope you can find some solace in that if you decide you need to take a long term break. Stay safe and I hope you have a wonderful break 🙂

Hi! There were certainly Club Penguin-themed laptops which were sold about a decade ago (if I remember correctly, I think they were only sold in Brazil). Maybe it’d make a good Mountains Monday post one day too!

Thank you everyone for the lovely comments! There’s quite a lot to respond to individually, so I don’t think that I will, but I’ve read each and every one of them. I just want to say that I’m very grateful – thank you. 😀
