CP Rewritten: Gary’s Mountain Expedition Giveaway Sneak Peek
The Club Penguin Rewritten team have released a sneak peek for the upcoming Gary background! Although his recent visits have been with an older background, he’s expected to start offering a brand new one themed around the Mountain Expedition soon, and probably within the next few days.
For the third and final scheduled visit due to occur today, Gary will still have his older background, and I’ll be sure to update you once the background available has been switched. On a separate note, stamp books are expected to make a return in the update which will introduce this new background.

It’s very unfair. The server and rooms were full of people who already had the old background, so people like me who didn’t have it had no chance to get it.
(I tried twice out of the three times, trying to log onto a server for hours before and trying to get into a room with him all throughout the visit times. Only seen Gary once – he was zooming past so quickly I clicked the room’s exit trying to click him).
And now it’ll be a “recently re-released” item, so will be gone for ages. So, no cheese for me, only another day spent as a zombie because I’ve wasted the night waiting and trying to catch him (in just half an hour, on a server full of people who are annoyed that the background is not new and one they already have… GrrRR! I DON’T have it, let me in instead of taking up the room!! Yes, Gary will be back, but he won’t have the cheesy computer!)
Random visits gave whoever wanted the background a reason to check in often – while people who didn’t care just didn’t bother. So I’d say it was easier to get on then…

Looking forward to G’s new bg and the return of the stamp book. Remember, 2 new stamps have been added. Will be interesting to see what they are.

Yes, he’s been doing so currently. I’m not sure if he will again for his next visit though.

Hey Torres, I know this isn’t important, but I figured out that the pose Gary is doing in his Toughest Mountain Giveaway, is the same pose Gary is doing in his Mad Scientist Giveaway, only on the opposite side of the picture. Thanks for listening!
