Immediate End of Club Penguin Island Blogging
It is with regret that I have decided to end all posts regarding Club Penguin Island, effective immediately with this change likely being permanent. As a result, this blog will focus exclusively on Club Penguin Rewritten content, and possibly content of Pengur, another private server, when it releases.
I’ve made plenty of lengthy posts both criticising and praising the game, but unfortunately, it just isn’t fun for me anymore. Whilst I don’t wish to use my final post as a way of speaking negatively about the game, I feel like it would be wrong for me not to explain my reasoning.
Ultimately, it all comes down to lack of content. I feel like I’ve done absolutely everything: reached the highest level, done all the adventures, made an outfit and an igloo, explored the island, spent time with others. As a result, the game has become less enjoyable and far less fun to blog about, it’s become far less popular from what I’ve seen and also far less safe.
This decision has taken me a while to make and I have listened to feedback surrounding this. It would feel wrong to continue my streak of exclusively posting CP Rewritten content. so I decided to make this announcement before making several new changes, which will be explained soon in this post!
Ultimately, not only are Club Penguin Rewritten posts far more enjoyable to make, they are also a lot more popular. CPI just isn’t designed for blogging; there’s very little news and guides are unnecessary due to there being no challenge at all. In the last 90 days, the only CPI post to be in the top twenty posts is a guide to cancelling your membership, which is extremely concerning.
Whilst I will also no longer be playing the game as regularly, I would like to thank the CPI team for granting me several months of fun and allowing me to form this blog. I may not be supporting them through memberships or blogging anymore, however I still wish them the best of luck with their game.
As for the future of this blog, I have lots of exciting new content coming this month! These include the most detailed mascot trackers, several new guides, a new sidebar and more! Already you will be able to see a temporary new blog header in celebration of the Great Snow Maze coming at the end of this month!
Club Penguin Island pages will remain until all this content is released. At that point, they will all be placed into a single page and no longer updated, so some guides will always be accessible. However, for now, this blog’s focus is Club Penguin Rewritten. Whilst I’m aware this will upset or annoy some of you, IÂ fully appreciate all the support which you have given me, even if that ends now. I still hope that others will continue on this journey!
Once again, I’d like to thank all everyone who has read this blog as well as the team for everything! I have had plenty of great experiences and memories, yet for now, it is time to…Waddle on!

Club Penguin Island Blog to Launch at Worldwide
Just a quick update that the Club Penguin Island blog release has been moved to the date of worldwide release, but Megg has promised a new feature which the one web developer is working on!
I’m really excited for this feature! The team sure have put a lot of extra effort into this, especially since it was estimated to come out in January/February time! I can’t wait to see it and I wish the team luck in making it as awesome as possible!

Club Penguin Island Blog Delayed
Although the Club Penguin Island blog was originally meant to launch today, Megg has responded to my question confirming that it’s being delayed but also “so close”.
https://twitter.com/clubpenguin/status/842501404912570368
The blog has been delayed for a month now so I am thinking something major is happening to it, so it’s good that they’re getting that fixed! I would now expect to see the blog come out with the game..Does this disappoint you? Be sure to check back frequently for the latest Club Penguin Island news!

Club Penguin Island Blog Release Date Confirmed
We’ve already seen some cool sneak peeks of the Club Penguin Island blog but until now, we did not know when it was due to come live.
Megg has announced that the release date has been delayed to March 17 2017, which could mean that the blog comes out before worldwide release. Maybe on the same day…?
I’m fine with this delay! The blog looks so awesome and fresh. Having the developer spend a few extra weeks perfecting it is understandable because it’s such an important part of CP Island.
Thanks for reading and good luck to the developer! Be sure to check back for the latest news!

Club Penguin Island Blog & Igloos
In the latest Island Insider episode, Megg shared some of the finalised designs for the Club Penguin Island blog, on track to launch in early March! Take a look!
She also reenforced the fact that blog comments will be automatically approved and whilst saying that it will lead to real-time conversations, she did not address my concern of the system being abused easily.
Either way, the blog design itself looks modern and refreshing! I’m curious to see how it will look on mobile devices and how the blog will be used, but I’m pretty happy with the content of this sneak peek!
Be sure to check back frequently for the latest news!

Automated Filter on the Club Penguin Island Blog
For the past two days, we’ve got lots of information on memberships in Club Penguin Island but that’s now shifting towards the new blog! Currently on the blog, moderators need to improve every individual comment to make sure that it is appropriate. This is a time-consuming process but pretty soon, that will no longer happen!
That’s great because it allows moderators to spend more time on helping our island! I reckon it will probably use the same filter as the Disney Mix one. Perhaps there will also be a report button on comments in the future as well!
There is quite a lot of news in the What’s New blog comments so I’d suggest scrolling through them. I will continue to post most of them however!

Penguin of the Week Confirmed on Club Penguin Island Blog
Yesterday I made a post confirming the Club Penguin Island blog would be out early next year, but I did wonder whether or not Penguin of the Week would carry on in it. Well, this is some short news, but the answer is yes, it will.
I’m really happy the team have decided to carry on Penguin of the Week! I’ll keep you updated with more news on the blog and the game! A big piece of news was revealed last night but I want to give you my thoughts on it (parties won’t carry over).

Club Penguin Island Blog to Launch in 2017
Megg has continued to answer several of our questions! One interesting thing which I would like to share is that the blog of Club Penguin Island will launch in either January or February next year.
An image of the blog design was leaked previously but I can’t remember where I found it or who posted it. It’s fairly similar to the current one so I don’t think the design will be anything too special but I wonder what will be posted on it! Will the Penguin of the Week still be around? Only time will tell!
