How to Cancel Club Penguin Island Membership

Chances are that you’ve registered to get your free 7 day membership on Club Penguin Island but that week is almost over and you don’t want to be charged. My trial ended today however I’m now just paying for membership. Today I’m going to share how to cancel membership by request of some people. 

Android Devices:

a) Open the Google Play Store app on your device. Tap the three bars by the search button to bring up this. 

b) Tap “Account”. Then tap “subscriptions”. Find Club Penguin Island and simply tap cancel. 

Ensure that you do this before your free trial ends. Once you’re charged, you will be emailed a receipt. It’s just two steps however many people are desperate to know! 

Apple/IOS: 

I don’t have an Apple device so I can’t share screenshots however the official Apple website has got a good guide.

  • Go to Settings > iTunes & App Store.
  • Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen.
  • Tap View Apple ID. You might need to sign in or use Touch ID.
  • Tap Subscriptions.
  • Tap the subscription that you want to manage.
    If you don’t see a subscription but are still being charged, make sure that you’re signed in with the correct Apple ID. If so, you might have subscribed directly with the provider and not through iTunes. In this case, contact the content publisher or app developer directly to cancel your subscription. You can only manage subscriptions made through the News app in Settings.
  • Use the options to manage your subscription. You can choose a different subscription offering, or tap Cancel Subscription to cancel your subscription. If you cancel, your subscription will stop at the end of the current billing cycle.

    • That’s it! Remember that you can continue to subscribe to membership at anytime but you can’t get another free trial unless you create another iTunes account AND a Disney account.
