Hi everyone! 🤸🏾♂️
So the decade (and year!) has finally come to an end, and a new one has begun. It’s been quite the decade too, and I’m sure many of us will be feeling like it has flown past!
I reckon many people will also be reflecting on their past memories, particularly those involving Club Penguin. This decade was in many ways the peak and fall of the game, but many of us will have had some really pleasant times, whether it be our favourite party or a particular time playing. We’ve spent time with moderators, mascots and friends, time waiting for #ProjectSuperSecret (and then Pengur!), and time enjoying the island.
But let’s not dwell on the past, and rather make this moment last whilst we have the chance.
It may not seem like it though, but a new decade brings exciting new opportunities, with new memories and experiences to be formed! I don’t think many people expected that they’d be as they are now in 2010. For that, I wish you the best of luck in the new decade ahead, and I hope things go well and you can achieve the things you desire.
In terms of this blog, there is little doubt in my mind that this will be the last year for it. I have some things planned which I’m still considering, and you’ll probably hear some more about it this month. But I feel like I should also complete the yearly tradition of posting the stats for 2019:

I’m immensely grateful to you for making this such a successful year, but also for making this such a wonderful decade. A lot has changed from the start of the decade, where I’d be reading many notable Club Penguin blogs, to now writing one!
Let’s conclude with this: the latter parts of this decade have been difficult as the world seems less safe, more tense and certainly more politically volatile. But there’s a lot to celebrate too. Children have never been more likely to survive, and adults have never been more likely to become literate.
There’s no doubt the next decade will contain a variety of difficulties – big and small – for everyone. Irrespective of what happens this year, or how volatile the world becomes, I sincerely wish you the best.
Happy new year! 🎇
