Earlier in the month, the Club Penguin Rewritten team stated that if the puffle designs were updated, Puffle Digging would “probably” be included in that update. As you may be aware, the puffle designs are going to be updated soon.

However, that’s left many people wondering if Puffle Digging is going to be added to the game. In the recent official blog post, it was confirmed that this wouldn’t be the case.

We’ve not thought about Puffle Digging, and we don’t plan on adding this feature any time soon.

For those unaware, the Puffle Digging feature was effectively one that allowed your puffle to find items and coins as you waddled across the island.

That being said, besides Puffle Hats, the team have confirmed that they are planning on allowing people to wear a hand item and carry a puffle. Currently, you can only do one and not the other.

We do plan on adding features such as making the puffles not hand items anymore, so you can wear a hand item and rock your puffles at the same time.
