CP Rewritten Times: Issue #119 – Summer Luau

A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released, announcing the conclusion of the Medieval Party and the defeat of the Dragon Queen, along with the next event on the island!

For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.

This paper revealed:

  • The Dragon Queen has been defeated and the Medieval Party is now over! For the Medieval Party igloo contest, the results will be released next week. Learn more.
  • On August 22nd, a new postcard selection and a new Stage play will be released
  • August 29th will be the date of the new pin, and the day the Summer Luau releases. It’s been described as a “relaxing event”

As such, it seems that the next party is going to be the Summer Luau! Last year, the Summer Luau was quite a small event which only really covered two rooms.

It’s not known yet if this year the Summer Luau is going to be another mini-event like last year, or a full-scale party, but I’ll let you know when more details are released! As a reminder though, some summer parties are due to be very custom.

CP Rewritten Times: Issue #118

As part of the amazing update on Club Penguin Rewritten, a new newspaper has been released! It doesn’t really contain any new information regarding updates, but Gary continues the plot of the Dragon Queen…

For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.

This paper reveals:

  • Gary has given some tips on defeating the Dragon Queen, though a proper guide is here. He’s also not ruled out the possibility of there being another dragon for next year’s party
  • A new pin will be released on August 15th, specifically, when the Medieval Party currently ongoing ends

Though there’s not much update news, the design of the Medieval-themed paper never disappoints, so be sure to check it out!

CP Rewritten: Enchanted Armour & Wizard Hat

The new update has dropped on Club Penguin Rewritten, and it brings three new items to the Medieval Party: a set of enchanted equipment, both armour and a hat!

Each item is located in one of three places:

  1. In the Cave, on the right
  2. At the entrance to fight the Dragon Queen, accessible from the Cave
  3. On the table at the bottom left of the Lighthouse

There is another item included in the recent update though! If you defeat the Dragon Queen, you’ll receive a background: the Lost Castle Background. You’ll need to defeat the Dragon Queen again, regardless if you’ve defeated her before.

Check out a guide to defeating her here!

CP Rewritten: Medieval Party Extended

This is just a very quick heads up to let you know that the Medieval Party has been extended by a “day or so” on Club Penguin Rewritten!

This is primarily due to the delays that occurred before the party was released, and also as many players are enjoying the event currently.

I believe [the Medieval Party is being extended] an extra day or so, yes. We can see a lot of players are enjoying the party and it’s a favourite

CP Rewritten: Medieval Party Behind the Scenes Artwork

The official Club Penguin Rewritten blog post explaining the delays of the Medieval Party has been published, and can be viewed here! It essentially cites that their artist disappeared without notice leaving them in a predicament.

However, the more exciting element of the post is that some of the sketches for the Medieval Party’s Dragon Queen quest were released! These were all drawn by Screenhog, take a look!

It’s always really cool seeing the concepts of artwork before it’s brought to life in-game, and I’m glad the team released this post! Thank you for reading, waddle on!
