CP Rewritten: 3rd Anniversary T-Shirt Code

Today is a special day on Club Penguin Rewritten, as it marks three years since the game’s beta ended, and the island officially released! In order to celebrate, the team have released a code of a T-Shirt with the Anniversary colours.

To redeem this code, on the server selection page, click “Unlock Items Online” on the top right, and then “I’ve got a code”. Enter the code THREEYEARS to receive the item!

The code is likely to expire soon, so I’d highly recommend redeeming it whilst you still can – it will probably never return!

You’ll also receive 3000 coins when you redeem the code.

Thank you very much for reading, enjoy the rest of the anniversary!

CP Rewritten: 3rd Anniversary Cake Artwork

As part of the Anniversary Party, a cake can traditionally be found in the Coffee Shop. Each year, the cake tends to contain some really beautiful and creative designs with a colour theme based on the party hat, and this event was no different!

The cake was drawn by Lovebacon56, who released some pictures depicting the sketches of the cake and the final artwork. It’s quite remarkable seeing the process of turning the cake into a reality, so I wanted to share it with you!

The cake really is beautifully decorated and detailed, and it’s wonderful to see the process behind that! Thank you for reading, waddle on!

CP Rewritten: Aunt Arctic's Anniversary Visit

View Aunt Arctic Tracker

There’s been much excitement over which mascot(s) will be visiting for the Anniversary Party, and the first one has made an appearance today on the server Marshmallow! Aunt Arctic was visited, and tracked by the tracker above.

I wanted to share a quick post featuring her playercard and background for those interested.

This is not a new background; it was available when Aunt Arctic visited twice in October 2019 for the 13th Anniversary Party.

If you didn’t meet her, don’t worry! The team have said that there will be multiple visits for at least one of the mascots who visits for this event, potentially her, so good luck!

The 3rd Anniversary Party has now begun on Club Penguin Rewritten until February 13th, and this post will provide a guide to the event! A new yearbook has been released, along with the annual hat.

At least one mascot is confirmed to visit for this event, and you can find a list of trackers here. Aunt Arctic is so far the only one known to be visiting, and her tracker can be found here.

CP Rewritten: Igloo Likes Leaderboard Consideration

Some of you may remember from a few months ago where quite a lot of excitement was around for improvements to igloos, including a multiple igloo option!

However, there hasn’t been too many updates to igloos recently, so I thought it’d be worth sharing this new information given earlier today by the Club Penguin Rewritten team.

It reveals that there will be a shift in focus to igloos “very soon”, and also that there were many considerations involved that made implementing a leaderboard for igloo likes difficult.

I think when igloos were our main focus for a bit, we were very scared on the igloo likes option and thought about having it reset like the leaderboard does, to make it fair, etc.

Right now, we have other things we’re focusing on and it’s exciting, but we’ll definitely go back to igloos very soon!

-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administrator

I’ll definitely let you know as more is revealed regarding igloos; some of the changes made towards the end of last year (eg. the “no igloo” option) were wonderful, as shared in this month’s interview!

As always, in this post, I will be sharing all the secrets/cheats inside the catalog! A circle and an arrow represents that a secret is hidden there and the image next to it is the item which you can get by clicking there.

Page one contains three secrets: Puffle Tubes, Puffle Rug and Snappy Shark.

Page two contains just two secrets, which are the Mop & Bucket as well as the Blue Gym Mat.

Page three contains the Green Oval Rug, Easel and Scroll-down Map.

I am pretty certain this covers all the cheats/secrets, but I will update it immediately if not! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides for Club Penguin Rewritten!

CP Rewritten Times: Issue #144 – Anniversary

A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released ahead of the 3rd Anniversary Party that begins on Sunday. The main story is that the Puffle Party is confirmed for this month, which is rather unsurprising after the very heavy puffle-related Penguin Style.

For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.

This paper revealed:

  • A new Igloo Catalog will be released tomorrow
  • On February 9th, the Anniversary Party will begin until February 13th
  • A new pin will be released on February 13th
  • The Puffle Party will occur this month, though more information (including an exact date) will be released in next week’s edition of the paper

The 3rd Anniversary Party will hopefully be a lot of fun, and I’ll let you know as more is revealed about the Puffle Party! Thanks for reading, waddle on!

CP Rewritten: Western Party Yearbook Sneak Peek

As you may be aware, the 3rd Anniversary for Club Penguin Rewritten is rapidly approaching, with the party due to begin on Sunday! Each year during such events, the team release a yearbook to immortalise the year’s activities.

Earlier today, the team released a sneak peek for the yearbook (2019-2020). It depicts the page for June 2019, the month in which the small Western Party mystery event occurred.

I should also note that along with this sneak peek, the team confirmed that two community meet-ups will occur for the anniversary. These are the dates and times for both of them!

Meet-Up #1

Date: Sunday 9th February 2020
Time: 12:00pm PST
Server: Beanie
Dress code: Dress up in an outfit that describes your favourite party!

Meet-Up #2

Date: Wednesday 12th February 2020
Time: 1:00pm PST
Server: Sleet
Dress code: Party hats and balloons!

The Anniversary time is always an exciting one, particularly as numerous different mascots tend to visit, and many members of the community hold a variety of events to celebrate! I’ll let you know if anything else is revealed, thank you for reading!

CP Rewritten: Permanent Ban Reform Introduced

Some quite significant changes have been introduced to the ban system on Club Penguin Rewritten. Previously, if you reached a certain number of bans (around 7), a permanent ban would be placed on your account. It is now possible to appeal this.

The team have emphasised that they have the right to dismiss any appeals, and will only unban active people who have a genuine desire to reform their behaviour. In order to do so, you’ll need to email bans@cprewritten.net with your username and your genuine reason for requesting an unban.

Along with this, the team also indicated that they would be implementing improved warnings in-game, and trying to avoid punishments for accidental typos (currently this can be appealed anyway).

CP Rewritten: "Tired" of Winter Fiesta

Happy February everyone! As you may remember from a few days ago, the Festival of Lights was the main event for January. Interestingly, this differs from previous years, where January’s party has traditionally been the Winter Fiesta.

A little information has been revealed by the team on why the Winter Fiesta didn’t occur in January. Here’s what they said:

Festival of [Lights] was because we got kind of tired of having the same party [Winter Fiesta] during January, so we tried something new.

-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administrator

This is actually quite interesting as it indicates that the Winter Fiesta will no longer be an annual event; one of the newspapers for the original Fiesta stated that it would occur yearly.

One of my favourite screenshots – from the Winter Fiesta, 17th January 2018

Personally, I’m actually quite glad by this – the Festival of Lights was a nice twist! However, I wanted to share this in case you were wondering about the Winter Fiesta.
