Tutorial: Download Disney Mix on Android

Hey everyone,

Lots of people have been excited for the new Disney Mix app out! Unfortunately, right now it’s only out for people who live in Australia or New Zealand. Instead of the usual discussion or idea, today I’ll be doing a step-by-step tutorial as to how to download Disney Mix whilst being in another country. Unlike the IOS tutorial, this does not require new accounts to be created.

Disney Mix is a social messaging app with all new ways to chat, share, and play with friends. Get creative and express yourself using some of your favorite Disney, Pixar, and Star Wars Rebels™ characters! Personalize an avatar, make memes, connect with friends and challenge them to play games, and more. Chat, share and play—all in one place with Disney Mix. Also, I’ll be posting a discussion on this new app soon, but firstly let me explain how to download it.

Step 1:

Go on your Android device. Open up any browser.

Step 2:

Type in the following link into your browser’s URL search.

Link: https://apkpure.com/disney-mix/com.disney.mix

Step 3:

Your page should look something similar to this. Click the “Download APK” button. Don’t worry, I did this and nothing bad has happened to my device. Also, no reviews report malware or viruses on this site.

Step 4:

Install the app to your device. The download could take around 5 minutes depending on your connection. It took that long for me.

Step 5:

You can check if he download is done with your notification bar. Just pull that down, and when it says download complete, click it. Alternatively, look at your most recent downloads in your “File Manager” app.

Step 6:

Hit that “Install” button. The app will now install onto your device, just like it would if you downloaded it off the Google Play Store.

Step 7:

The app will take a couple of minutes to install. Once it’s done, just click “Open”. You can now sign up to Disney Mix and begin using it!

Step 8:

The app might not appear on your home page. Just go to a list of your apps, and drag it there. Enjoy!

Let me know if you have any issues! Remember that the app is still in beta testing at the moment and that you’re not technically meant to be testing it unless you live in Australia or New Zealand. If you’re on IOS, this tutorial wouldn’t have worked for you but you can try creating a new Apple ID and setting the country as Australia.

Waddle on!
