CP Rewritten: Update Day Changes

Earlier today, the Club Penguin Rewritten team made a statement which explained some of the delays recently, particularly with the Music Jam.

In it, they announced some big news, which is that newspaper will now be released on Wednesdays instead of Tuesdays. Also, other content will be released on Thursdays now instead of Wednesdays. You can read their full statement by clicking “Read more”.

Full statement from the Club Penguin Rewritten team:

The Music Jam was supposed to be released two days ago rather than today, and we know that a lot of you have been rather upset at us for this. You should also know that behind the scenes all of us are teens with school, and more that we focus on. This can create stress and tension behind the scenes and I’ll be lying if I said it’s been an easy task for this update, because it hasn’t, a lot of stress has occurred but we made sure to keep working on the party overnight(s) to get it out on a valuable time for your enjoyment.

We want you to know that when an update can be considered as late, it’s not because we’re delaying it on purpose, it’s because situations can happen outside of the game for us. (Unfortunately, as cool as it sounds, we’re not robots and we’re definitely human)

We want to fix this problem as best as we can, we want time for ourselves that won’t interfere with what goes on whenever we’re online. Starting today the following will be changed to better suit us and also the community:

– Newspapers will now be released on Wednesdays
– Content updates will be released on Thursdays

In light of all this, we’ve gone ahead and extended the Music Jam for an extra week and will be giving out an unlock code to show our apology to you all.

This party is rather big with some cool things to do, I don’t want to spoil too much as a lot of it is coming in the second week, but we hope you enjoy the party as a lot of work and effort was put into it behind the scenes, and not just a simple copy + paste. 🙂

From the Club Penguin Rewritten Team,
We hope you understand and we hope you forgive us. Thank you.
