Sorry for how late this one is, I completely forgot to post about the new edition of the newspaper until I was reminded, thank you! In this paper, Herbert has taken over to present the Club Sled Times.

For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.

CP Rewritten: Halloween Party Candy Hunt

The Candy Hunt has begun on Club Penguin Rewritten for the second week fo the Halloween Party, and many of them are hidden really well! This post will provide a guide to every single candy location. 🍬

Going from left to right:

  1. Cove – near the “Surf Hut” in the bushes
  2. Haunted House entrance (accessible from the Forest) – located in the window of the Haunted House
  3. Snow Forts – the final candy on the bottom right of the room
  4. Gift Shop – in the clothing by the changing rooms
  5. Lighthouse – near the top of the room; the pumpkin on the “Trick or Treat” sign
  6. Recycling Plant – you might need to throw some snowballs until the plant is full of trash; eventually, the candy will appear, but it’ll be very small!
  7. Plaza – at the top of the Pet Shop exterior
  8. Ski Lodge – at the very top left of the room, by the postcard symbol

Once you’ve found all eight candies, you’ll be able to open the candy book on the top right of your screen and then receive the Neon Skeleton Hoodie for free!

It’s a super cool item, so be sure to pick it up.

CP Rewritten Field-Ops: Sledpocalypse (Halloween)

A new Field-Op for the week has been released on Club Penguin Rewritten, and several waves of communication through EPF messages have occurred. Herbert has taken over the island with Sledpocalypse and is expected to visit soon.

To stop him, we must complete Gary’s Field-Op!

Once you’ve done this, head over to the Dojo Courtyard. Waddle to the right of the room above the grey puffle statue, where my penguin is in the image below. Your spy phone will turn green and start bleeping. Click it!

The challenge this time is to Power up the Chipset! by using the arrows at the bottom of the game. As this varies for each player, I can’t show you exactly how to do this, but basically use the arrows on your keyboard to move your battery, so that you visit all power-up stations. You’ll need to recharge every so often to do this, and be sure to avoid the red electrical zaps!

Once you complete this, you should receiving some elite medals. Gary will warn you to beware Herbert too. Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides!

Party Invite: Spooky Halloween Event…

Update: The event is now over. Thank you to everyone who attended, it was three hours of total fun. We got to visit plenty of igloos, played lots of games such as Hide and Seek and had a fantastic time! I’m sorry if we couldn’t get to your igloo, but there’ll definitely be more events in the future. I hope that you enjoyed it! 💕

Boo! Halloween is currently ongoing on Club Penguin Rewritten, which is always a really fun party to explore, so I’ll be holding a little event on the island on Wednesday! There’s plenty to do, including earning the Trick o’ Treat stamp and turning rooms grey.

I should clarify that whereas previous events have been almost exclusively focused on stamps (especially the Party Host stamp), that will not be the case in this event; whilst we will certainly visit dozens of igloos as usual to get the Party Host stamp, we’ll also play plenty of other games like Hide and Seek!

  • Date: Wednesday October 30th 2018
  • Server: Beanie
  • Starting room: Beach (updated locations will be shown here on this post with an embedded Twitter timeline)
  • Time: 7PM GMT, midday PST, 3PM EST (note to everyone in Britain: this accounts for the clocks going back the day before – the party is at 7PM in Britain)
  • Events: Exploring the island, visiting igloos, earning stamps, and having a good time!

Make sure to also wear your spookiest outfits; some of the best will be featured on the blog later on! I hope to see you there, it should be fantastic fun and we’ll hopefully have a great time, with plenty to do.

CP Rewritten: Christmas Party to have Storyline

Halloween is just coming up, so it is a little early for news on the Christmas Party since that’s in December, but some news has been revealed about the party. The team also stated that the party has been developed since August.

The more interesting thing revealed though is that the Christmas Party will have a storyline, like this year’s Halloween Party. It’s not known yet what this will involve, but I’ll let you know when more is revealed.

Gary made his first appearance for the Halloween Party today, visiting both Sleet and Deep Freeze! He was tracked by the tracker, and as per usual, the tracker will record all future visits.

This is just a quick post to share his new background with you. Firstly, the event was a super fun one, and here’s his playercard!

See if you can spot Gary in that tree there! Secondly, here’s how his background looks like on your playercard.

Congratulations if you met him, but don’t worry if you didn’t, there’ll be plenty of opportunities!

CP Rewritten Field-Ops: Herbert’s Strange Activity (Halloween)

Herbert is seeming to be incredibly involved in this Halloween Party, and a new Field Op has been released! Herbert has also managed to connect to the EPF communications system.

Just as a quick reminder, in order to access Field-Ops, you need to go to the EPF HQ and visit the yellow screen on the right. You do not need to go the EPF HQ to complete the Field-Op though, you can just head to the room below.

To complete this, head over to the Book Room, then enter the Secret Lab. Waddle to the where the lever is at the top of the room, near the “Sled Maker 3000” sign.

Your spy phone will turn green and start bleeping. Click it!

The challenge this time is to Decrypt the Code!. As this varies for each player, I can’t show you exactly how to do this, but I can give you my recommended tactic.

An image will appear on the right, and you need to click that shape out of a variety of shapes. They’ll be increasingly more difficult each stage, but just be sure to look for the same shape!

Gary will then thank you and announce that he’s suspecting Herbert is plotting something related to his Halloween Party invention.

View Herbert tracker here

The following Spy Phone messages have also been sent out, suggesting Herbert is visiting this month.

Hello my Exceptionally Putrid Foes. Guess who’s finally back? Me! -Herbert

HERBERT! How were you able to connect to the EPF communications systems? -Gary

Well, that’s quite simple. You practically gave me access through my disguised signals. -Herbert

You’re telling me that you were using those signals as a way to bypass the security, and gain direct access to the EPF communications unit? But how could you think of such a devious plan? -Gary

That would be much more than your silly bird brain could handle. Though, I still have to thank you for your assistance from the last time we met. My next plan will be flawless! Let’s say it involves a little experiment of yours…Mwahahaha. -Herbert

Herbert is gone, though I suspect he’ll be back. Please look out of him, agents. Check the Command Room for a new Field-Ops. In the meantime, I’ll be heading down to my secret lab to launch my experiment for the Halloween Party. -Gary

I’m sure there’ll be more chances to meet Sensei soon!
