Chillin’ in the Club Soundtrack
Last week marked exactly five years since classic Club Penguin closed, and the release of Club Penguin Island – it feels quite remarkable that happened half a decade ago now. As such, for today’s Mountains Monday soundtrack, I’ve decided to pick a potentially nostalgic track titled “Chillin’ in the Club”.
If this sounds familiar, it was the tune which played whenever you opened the Club Penguin Island app! However, I think that it’s also a pleasant track, which I hope you’ll enjoy listening to.

Club Penguin’s Dojo DS Theme
It’s the first Monday of the month, where a Club Penguin tune is shared here on this blog! Given all the excitement around Card-Jitsu, I’ve decided to share a track which is similar to the Dojo’s tune, but with a twist. This was actually the soundtrack used on the Nintendo DS EPF game for the Dojo and Puffle Hideout!
There’s a lot of relaxing tunes associated with Card-Jitsu, such as this one, but I really like how fast-pace and exciting this track is – I think it perfectly captures the atmosphere of the Dojo! Nevertheless, it wasn’t used on the island normally outside the DS game, and many often prefer the version of the track used there instead.
I hope you enjoy the tune!

Club Penguin’s Black Puffle Theme Music
It’s the first Monday of the month, where a Club Penguin tune is shared here on this blog! Given that puffles will be returning in February, I felt that it’d be appropriate to pick one of the puffle themes from the Puffle Party. This can be quite a tricky task since each domain at the event has its own theme suited to that puffle, but I think the one for the black puffle successfully matches its energy and personality!
It’s most well-known for being the theme for the black puffle at the Puffle Party, but there’s also an interesting paradox about the other places where this soundtrack was used; this is the same track for the Team Blue 2 Stage play, and the Red team’s theme. It seems that both teams on the island are a fan of it!
I hope that you enjoy the tune, and have a wonderful February!

Club Penguin’s Herbert Sneak
It’s time for a new tune as part of Mountains Monday! Given that it’s October, a lot of people might be expecting something spooky, but I’ve decided to share a slightly different track. I think that it works well since it’s still a very ominous tune. It’s titled “Herbert Sneak”, and you can hear it below!
This was played at Operation Tri-umph in 2016, but it’s heavily based on a similar track titled “One Very Grumpy Polar Bear” that was part of Herbert’s Revenge, so you might be familiar with it. It frequently tends to appear whenever Herbert is plotting a nefarious scheme!
As you can tell, it’s not quite associated with the Halloween Party, but I hope that you’ll like the sinister tune given this month. Thank you very much for reading!

Club Penguin’s Card-Jitsu Party Theme
It’s time for another Mountains Monday post! As this is the first Monday of the month, that will be a tune. The one which I’ve selected for this month is the theme tune from the Card-Jitsu Party.
I think that it’s a really relaxing and soothing tune, which is why I’ve selected it for this month! It also fit well with the theme of the event, which was held in both 2011 and 2013, as its reminiscent of Card Jitsu; this was the main theme which could be heard in most outdoor rooms.
I hope you enjoy the tune!

Club Penguin’s Sugar Shake
As it is the first week of the month, it’s time for another Mountains Monday post, so I’ve selected a new tune from Club Penguin to share! This one is titled “Sugar Shake”, and it was played at a variety of events; some of these included the SoundStudio Party and Music Jam, but it sometimes was played across the ordinary island when there was no party.
This track is one of the longer soundtracks on Club Penguin and contains multiple melodies, which is probably part of the reason why it was frequently reused! As a result, it might be one which you recognise upon hearing. I hope you enjoy the tune!

Club Penguin’s Treetop Treasures
As it is the first week of the month, it’s time for another Mountains Monday post, so I’ve selected a new tune which was themed around pirates, and probably suitable for the Island Adventure Party: Treetop Treasures!
This might be one which you remember from Club Penguin Island since it was used for the adventures there, but it was also present in the Pirate Party of 2014. It’s a nice tune that’s slightly calming though, so I hope that you’ll enjoy it!

Club Penguin’s Rock the Boat Quartet
As it is the first week of the month, it’s time for another Mountains Monday post, so I’ve selected a new tune which was initially themed around summer: Rock the Boat Quartet!
It’s a slightly longer one, but it sounds very different at different bits. Above all though, for a lot of people, it might hold some nostalgic memories from around summer 2014 since this was one of the most popular choices for Igloo Music at the time – you could hear it all over the island! This tune was associated with the Music Jam of that year, including other summer-themed events.
On a completely separate note, you may have noticed that this blog has been a little quiet in the last week. Although there hasn’t been much news, I might not be approving comments as much this week since it’s Exam Week, so everything is a little hectic!
I hope that you like it, waddle on!

Journey to the Prehistoric
Happy May! As usual for the first Monday of the month, I wanted to share a Club Penguin tune with you. Given that the Prehistoric Party is set to occur this month, the one which I’ve selected is Journey to the Prehistoric. Although it feels slightly prehistoric, it also has an adventurous feel associated more heavily with the Medieval Party, so I thought it’d be a fun one to share!
When it first occurred, the Prehistoric Party was exciting and took a lot of people by surprise! Even though the prehistoric had been explored in some previous Stage plays, it was the first time that there was such a comprehensive plot for a party that involved time-travel.
Jungle at the Prehistoric Party It’ll be interesting to see if this tune appears at the Prehistoric Party on Club Penguin Rewritten later this month, but I hope that you like it! Thank you very much for reading.

Club Penguin’s Coral Waters
Hi everyone! Unfortunately, the Mountains Monday post planned for yesterday didn’t publish because I made an error with the timing when scheduling it, but I still wanted to share the tune which was meant to be posted. It’s called Coral Waters, and it’s from the Pirate Party which was held on Club Penguin in 2014.
It’s fairly short, but it is has a soothing and calming feel to it which seemed appropriate for Spring and with the sakura background currently shown on this site! 🌸
I hope that you like it, waddle on!
