No More Countries to Beta Club Penguin Island & More
“There will not be anymore countries added until worldwide release”, Megg has confirmed. Tomisino1.com reported the news of the meet-up last night and proved that no other countries will officially be able to beta test the game.
This suggests that the original open beta was scrapped and replaced with the geo-beta. Personally, I think that it’s better that the game launches quicker however I am a bit biased as I’ve been testing the game myself. We also received another reminder that there will be new content at launch with some mascots travelling over to the new island.
Furthermore, Megg has informed us next week we will receive a big update. I think that this is the Club Penguin Island worldwide release date BUT I’ve heard rumours that this could be the announcement of classic Club Penguin closing.

Two NEW Mascots Hinted on Club Penguin Island
Over a month ago, we reported that there would be new mascots on Club Penguin Island. Today we can share with you a sneak peek of the artwork for these two mascots as well as who they are! It is now known that the mascots will be Gary and Rookie.
In the images above, we can see that the new style of mascots hasn’t seemed to change the designs of these mascots too much though Rookie is wearing what looks like a lifejacket. The colour scheme remains the same and it is easy to recognise the penguins in the questions mark.
So what does the addition of new mascots mean? New mascots means that there will be more episodes of character adventures to complete which is great as there are only 15 episodes between Rockhopper and Aunt Arctic. I’m still hoping that they will be harder to complete!
I’m predicting that we will see at least one of these mascots when the game officially launches worldwide. If we don’t, then people will be able to finish all adventures within a matter of ideas.

More Mascots Coming to Club Penguin Island!
I’ve been so focused on reporting the latest news about the beta, I completely forgot to share some screenshots which Madzom8ie tweeted! From what we know, only Rockhopper and Aunt Arctic are on the island, but that is soon going to change! A moderator has confirmed that more mascots are on their way!
I’ve heard some rumours that a moderator said that Herbert would be around. I’m not sure about this though. I’m glad we’re going to see new mascots in the future!
