CP Rewritten Times: Issue #117 – Gary Visiting
The Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been published, and it’s decorated in some fancy medieval designs, and is filled with lots of information (and puns, a lot of puns too…)!
For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.
- Gary has given an interview regarding the Medieval Party, confirming the presence of the Dragon Queen and giving some more details into his backstory. He has also confirmed he will be visiting for this party.
- An igloo contest is ongoing until August 15th! Check out the paper for more details
- A new Penguin Style and pin will be released on August 8th

CP Rewritten: Medieval Delay Explanation
The Medieval Party was due to release yesterday after a week’s delay, but unfortunately it’s not currently out yet, though the Club Penguin Rewritten team are doing their best to try and deliver a very promising party.
Though the party isn’t out yet, the team have released an explanation regarding the delays, citing a switch of artist.
Our main goal is to get it out today, but I [can’t] really confirm anything. We’re waiting on our artist to send more stuff and then we can work on getting it out. The original party delay was also because of an artist problem, so we switched artists at the last minute to get things out.

Whilst it isn’t confirmed that the party will be released today, hopefully it will, but please do bear in mind that the team are working hard to make it a magical experience!

CP Rewritten Times: Issue #116 – Medieval Delay
A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released, and whilst it foreshadows the Medieval Party slightly more, the main story is that this party has now been delayed until next week with earthquakes occurring on the island to compensate.
For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.
This paper revealed:
- The Medieval Party has been pushed back until August 1st (and therefore will last until August 15th). In a blog post statement, the reason cited were development issues. As a result of this, the igloo contest planned has also been pushed back until this date. To compensate, an earthquake is currently occurring on the island reflecting the “power” of the Dragon Queen, according to Gary
- A new pin will be released on August 1st and a new Penguin Style edition on August 8th
