CP Rewritten: Eclipse Begins on the Island
Hi everyone! Firstly, apologies for the inactivity which you may have noticed on the blog this week – unfortunately, I’ve been really busy, but my schedule has freed up once more! As you may have noticed though, the Halloween Party has now ended on Club Penguin Rewritten.
Instead, an eclipse has begun, where the entire island has been consumed by darkness. As a result of this, most outdoor rooms contain buildings with lights now turned on, which looks really pretty. As part of the Island Eclipse though, construction for the Festival of Lights has begun, most notably with the presence of the Hot Air Balloon at the Forest.
This eclipse is largely intended as the precursor to the Festival of Lights, which is due to occur later this month. The storyline is that the eclipse has occurred because of a malfunction with the vampire transformation machine at the Halloween Party. In addition, the Festival of Lights will effectively mark Gary resolving the issue by “fixing the lights” across the island, thereby ending the eclipse.
Before that though, be sure to enjoy the island with the night sky! I think that it’s significantly prettier, and it’s certainly going to be around for the next few weeks still. Thank you very much for reading!

CP Rewritten: Festival of Lights – Full Guide
The Festival of Lights is on now on Club Penguin Rewritten until January 30th! It’s a fairly small event in terms of the activities available, so this is a short guide, but night has consumed the island, which is always beautiful. 💡

Club Penguin Rewritten Eclipse – Full Guide
An eclipse has begun on Club Penguin Rewritten, and the island has darkened as a result, with lots of buildings displaying their lights! 🌑
It is very possible, but not confirmed, that Gary could be visiting for this event as you see him when you first log in, and you can view the Gary Tracker here. However, above all, the island is beautifully decorated!
When you log on for the first time, Gary will introduce the event to you:
Salutations, fellow scienti-err, I mean, penguins. My temporal calculations were correct, the Eclipse is here! The island has metamorphosed into an extended period of night time!
Although I fear this may be more than an Eclipse as, you see, the solar rotations of the sun and moon have changed according to my Orbit Scanner 3000! It is fascinating research for myself, however, I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about! Be safe and farewell.

There’s also a free item to obtain at this event! You can find the Eclipse Glasses at the Snow Forts, in a box just next to the Clock Tower & the entrance to the Stadium.
There’s also an obscure green puddle at the Forest, which is likely foreshadowing at the Halloween Party that’ll occur from October 25th to November 1st.
