CP Rewritten: Card Jitsu Water Development Paused
It’s been a while since information was released by the Club Penguin Rewritten team regarding Card Jitsu Water. It was initially due to release in 2019, but it’s unlikely for it to release soon.
A statement was recently released regarding the game that I thought was worth sharing. It confirms that Card Jitsu Water isn’t anywhere near the priority right now, but it also suggests that the team are working on something else of significance!

[Card Jitsu Water] is in our thoughts, we don’t want to work on anything this big at the moment due to us working on something already for the game.

In regards to when this mystery “something” is due to be announced, sadly it won’t be “any time soon”. I’ll let you know if anything else is revealed, thank you for reading!

CP Rewritten Times: Issue #148 – Catalogs
A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released, recapping some of the Puffle Party and foreshadowing a bit of the catalogs ahead.
For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.

In all honesty, there isn’t too much news in this edition; some more excitement has been built up for today’s clothing catalog, and on May 12th, a new Furniture Catalog shall be released.

CP Rewritten: Custom Backgrounds in Tomorrow’s Catalog
Last week, the Club Penguin Rewritten team released a sneak peek of the March Penguin Style, and confirmed that all items will be custom, or in other words, exclusive to the game.
However, it has now been confirmed that the new backgrounds will also be custom. I thought this was worth sharing since custom backgrounds in the past have been primarily been mascot giveaways, so it’ll be interesting to see what the regular backgrounds are like!
As a reminder, the new Penguin Style will be released tomorrow. Thanks for reading, waddle on!

CP Rewritten: March Penguin Style Catalog Cover
It’s the first day of March, and a whole lot is planned for Club Penguin Rewritten this month, including a new Penguin Style due to release this Thursday, with every item going to be custom (exclusive to the game)!
Earlier today, Joee released a sneak peek of the new catalog, which shows the cover. Here’s how it looks like.

It’s kind of difficult to tell what the main event will be from this catalog cover, although I suppose the recent sneak peeks do that already. As a reminder, the catalog will be available on March 5th. Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides!

CP Rewritten: March Devcast with Screenhog
Happy March everyone! 🌻A fifth Devcast has been announced by the Club Penguin Rewritten team, which will feature the artist and musician Screenhog. As you may be aware, Devcasts are essentially podcasts where the team livestream questions & answers, release items, and more!
Like previous Devcasts, this shall be a charity stream, where donating a certain amount of money via the team to the Marie Curie charity will grant you access to the second series of the Treasure Book. I urge you not to donate without parental permission.

This Devcast is going to be more of a commemoration for classic Club Penguin, marking three years since its closure. For those interested, I’d recommend checking out a little archive filled with screenshots of that day here.
It features a very nostalgic screenshot with Screenhog from that final day, that I felt was worth sharing since it’s so heavily associated with the Devcast.

I’ll let you know when more details are revealed about the Devcast! Currently, it’s confirmed for March 30th at midday. Thank you for reading, waddle on!

CP Rewritten: March Parties & Mascots Sneak Peeks
Happy leap day! March is just around the corner, and some sneak peeks have been released hinting at some of the exciting things to come, including a St. Patrick’s Day event and the return of Rockhopper!
Some images have been released showcasing what’s to come. It seems to depict the Migrator, clothing, and rainbows (probably in relation to the St. Patrick’s event).

Along with this, a series of words were shared to hint and what also is to come. It essentially confirms Rockhopper will return next month, along with a St. Patrick’s and April Fools event.
- Rockhopper
- St. Patrick’s
- Fashion
- Disguise
- April Fools
- Migrator
The interesting one is “fashion” and “disguise”. Both these words are heavily associated with Dot, and as a mascot who has been hinted to visit soon, it seems quite likely she will be on the island next month!
I’ll let you know as more is revealed, thank you very much for reading! Waddle on!
