CP Rewritten: Music Jam – Cove Sneak Peek
Intended to provide some reassurance that the Music Jam is still actively being developed following its delay, the Club Penguin Rewritten team have released a sneak peek which shows the Cove at the event! It contains the same design as last year, which was a popular one because of how pretty it is, but the sky has been updated to be consistent with the rest of the island.
You can see this sneak peek below!
Unfortunately, it’s not known yet when the Music Jam will be available to play. Once it has released, the team will be revealing some more details about The Fair (the party planned for September) alongside the upcoming Penguin Style, so hopefully that’ll be soon.

CP Rewritten: Music Jam Delay Update
Happy August! Given that one of the most anticipated moments in July was the release of the Music Jam, I suspect that there might be a little confusion about why it hasn’t begun yet. As such, I wanted to quickly share this update provided by the team.
You’ll learn more [about the Music Jam] soon. Personally, I have no clue what’s going on with it, but I know Gravix is moving [homes] right now and he’s helping us out. [It’s] something about rooms being done and something about the User Interface being done. But yes, it’ll be out eventually – maybe whenever.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorIt reveals that most aspects of the party, including room and User Interface development, being completed. However, it’s not known yet what still needs to be completed, and it seems that the team has scrapped any sort of planned release time for the event.
Since the details are fairly vague at the moment, I’ll be sure to share anything new once it has been revealed! I’m assuming that there should hopefully be more information soon, though I hope this provides some clarity for those who were expecting the Music Jam yesterday.

CP Rewritten: Music Jam – Interface Sneak Peek
A new sneak peek of the Music Jam has been released! It seems to show some sort of interface related to the event, from which it will be possible to obtain items. Although it’s hard to tell for certain, I’m presuming that the top text might say something along the lines of “Return everyday” in order to obtain a certain item.
One of these items is shown, which is the Music Costume – this will be available for the first time during the event.
It’s a little difficult to deduce a lot from this sneak peek since it’s so small, but I think it’s quite likely that there will be some sort of interface at the Music Jam where you’re encouraged to regularly log back in! Regardless though, hopefully we’ll find out soon as the event will begin this month.

CP Rewritten: Music Jam – Dock Sneak Peek
The Music Jam should hopefully be starting on the island this month, and a new sneak peek has now been revealed showing the Dock! It appears to have a lot going on, as it includes the entrance to both the Music Cruise and the Casa Fiesta, which will also be returning for the event.
Since it’s something that’s never been on Club Penguin Rewritten before, if you’re interested to know more about the Cruise Ship, it’s covered in a little more detail here.
In addition to this sneak peek, the team also revealed that there’s soon going to be an official “development blog post” that goes into more details about the work being done behind-the-scenes, so that’s something to look forward to!

CP Rewritten: Music Jam – Forest Sneak Peek
Around a month ago, the Club Penguin Rewritten team released a sneak peek showing the Forest at the Music Jam, which you can find here. Since then though, the design has undergone some changes, so the team released an updated sneak peek last night.
This image will be more reflective of how the room looks like when the event begins! It’s not entirely different, and much of the grass and beach theme remains the same, but the stage has been changed quite substantially.
It’s still not yet known when the Music Jam will begin, but there’s been more sneak peeks lately so hopefully it’s going to be soon! Thank you very much for reading!

CP Rewritten: Music Jam – Plaza Sneak Peek
Although numerous sneak peeks showing parts of the Music Jam were revealed last month, it’s been a while since a new design has been shared. However, earlier today, the Club Penguin Rewritten team showcased part of the Plaza planned for the event! It’s possible to see the sunset sky, sand, and palm trees in this image.
The team have also emphasised that this event will be “pretty and gorgeous”, and the sneak peeks shown so far definitely seem to indicate that’ll be the case! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more sneak peeks when they are released!

CP Rewritten: Music Jam Construction Begins
The Prehistoric Party has concluded after a week on the island, but the exciting news is that the Music Jam is still planned for this month! There’s been some construction added to the island in anticipation of this, but most of it is relatively minor. For example, you’ll find a lot of boxes plotted around.
A lot of the items within the boxes involve greenery, and that’s reflective of the more summer theme which has been shown in previous sneak peeks such as the Forest one. Hopefully there’ll be some more news in regards to this soon, and I’ll be sure to sure it if there is!

CP Rewritten: Penguin Band to Offer New Background in Music Jam
The Penguin Band will be offering a new background when they visit for the Music Jam in July! It isn’t a custom background, but it’s worth noting that the individual band members seem to be having their design modernised. This is also consistent with the previous Music Jam sneak peek of Franky on the Cruise Ship.
It’s probably likely that DJ Maxx and Cadence will also visit for the Music Jam since they always have in the past, but that hasn’t been explicitly confirmed yet, and there aren’t details about what backgrounds they could offer if they do visit. If some news is revealed about that, I’ll be sure to let you know!

CP Rewritten: Music Jam Sneak Peek – Town Design
It’s been known for a little while that the Music Jam will be returning this year on Club Penguin Rewritten, but not too many details have been released. Earlier today, the team shared a sneak peek of the Town to give some sort of idea about how it’ll look like when the party has begun.
I should stress that this will not be the final design and it’s just taken from the Music Jam on classic Club Penguin in 2012, but the general layout is similar to what it will be. For example, it has already been confirmed that the sky will be different and more of a sunset one.

CP Rewritten: Music Jam to Have Sunset Sky
The Music Jam will have a sunset sky when it occurs this year, the Club Penguin Rewritten team have confirmed! They also revealed that they are considering having some “custom” designs for it, so that it’s something different from what has been previously experienced.
For the Music Jam, I’m bringing back the sunset sky from the 2020 one. The Music Jam might look different though; I might actually make it a custom party again because we haven’t done that in ages.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorFor those who aren’t familiar with the sunset sky, I’ve attached a photo from the event last year, but it’s effectively a lighter purple and orange sky which had a really nice summer feel to it! I’m definitely glad to hear that it’ll be returning.
There also hasn’t really been a full custom event since the Halloween Party last year, so seeing a new one with the more modern HTML5 technology is also something to look forward to!
