CP Rewritten: Halloween Party Candy Hunt
The Candy Hunt has begun on Club Penguin Rewritten for the second week fo the Halloween Party, and many of them are hidden really well! This post will provide a guide to every single candy location. 🍬
Going from left to right:
- Cove – near the “Surf Hut” in the bushes
- Haunted House entrance (accessible from the Forest) – located in the window of the Haunted House
- Snow Forts – the final candy on the bottom right of the room
- Gift Shop – in the clothing by the changing rooms
- Lighthouse – near the top of the room; the pumpkin on the “Trick or Treat” sign
- Recycling Plant – you might need to throw some snowballs until the plant is full of trash; eventually, the candy will appear, but it’ll be very small!
- Plaza – at the top of the Pet Shop exterior
- Ski Lodge – at the very top left of the room, by the postcard symbol
1: Cove 2: Haunted House entrance 3: Snow Forts 4: Gift Shop 5: Lighthouse 6: Recycling Plant 7: Plaza 8: Ski Lodge
Once you’ve found all eight candies, you’ll be able to open the candy book on the top right of your screen and then receive the Neon Skeleton Hoodie for free!
It’s a super cool item, so be sure to pick it up.

CP Rewritten Field-Ops: Sledpocalypse (Halloween)
A new Field-Op for the week has been released on Club Penguin Rewritten, and several waves of communication through EPF messages have occurred. Herbert has taken over the island with Sledpocalypse and is expected to visit soon.
To stop him, we must complete Gary’s Field-Op!
Once you’ve done this, head over to the Dojo Courtyard. Waddle to the right of the room above the grey puffle statue, where my penguin is in the image below. Your spy phone will turn green and start bleeping. Click it!
The challenge this time is to Power up the Chipset! by using the arrows at the bottom of the game. As this varies for each player, I can’t show you exactly how to do this, but basically use the arrows on your keyboard to move your battery, so that you visit all power-up stations. You’ll need to recharge every so often to do this, and be sure to avoid the red electrical zaps!
Once you complete this, you should receiving some elite medals. Gary will warn you to beware Herbert too. Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides!

See if you can spot Gary in that tree there! Secondly, here’s how his background looks like on your playercard.

CP Rewritten Field-Ops: Herbert’s Strange Activity (Halloween)
Herbert is seeming to be incredibly involved in this Halloween Party, and a new Field Op has been released! Herbert has also managed to connect to the EPF communications system.
Just as a quick reminder, in order to access Field-Ops, you need to go to the EPF HQ and visit the yellow screen on the right. You do not need to go the EPF HQ to complete the Field-Op though, you can just head to the room below.
To complete this, head over to the Book Room, then enter the Secret Lab. Waddle to the where the lever is at the top of the room, near the “Sled Maker 3000” sign.
Your spy phone will turn green and start bleeping. Click it!
The challenge this time is to Decrypt the Code!. As this varies for each player, I can’t show you exactly how to do this, but I can give you my recommended tactic.
An image will appear on the right, and you need to click that shape out of a variety of shapes. They’ll be increasingly more difficult each stage, but just be sure to look for the same shape!
Gary will then thank you and announce that he’s suspecting Herbert is plotting something related to his Halloween Party invention.
The following Spy Phone messages have also been sent out, suggesting Herbert is visiting this month.
Hello my Exceptionally Putrid Foes. Guess who’s finally back? Me! -Herbert
HERBERT! How were you able to connect to the EPF communications systems? -Gary
Well, that’s quite simple. You practically gave me access through my disguised signals. -Herbert
You’re telling me that you were using those signals as a way to bypass the security, and gain direct access to the EPF communications unit? But how could you think of such a devious plan? -Gary
That would be much more than your silly bird brain could handle. Though, I still have to thank you for your assistance from the last time we met. My next plan will be flawless! Let’s say it involves a little experiment of yours…Mwahahaha. -Herbert
Herbert is gone, though I suspect he’ll be back. Please look out of him, agents. Check the Command Room for a new Field-Ops. In the meantime, I’ll be heading down to my secret lab to launch my experiment for the Halloween Party. -Gary

CP Rewritten: More Chances to meet Sensei Soon
On Thursday, Sensei made a surprise appearance on Club Penguin Rewritten with his new background!
It’s definitely a really cool background containing his puffle and the elements, which has been really highly anticipated since the design was released a few months ago. There is good news if you missed him though, there’ll be more chances soon!
I’m sure there’ll be more chances to meet Sensei soon!
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administrator

CP Rewritten Times: Issue #109 – Herbert & Sleds
A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released, mainly covering the Halloween Party by Gary, and Aunt Arctic covering the Anniversary Party.
For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.
Here’s what this paper revealed:
- The Anniversary Party ends later today, and the Halloween Party ends on November 7th
- A Candy Hunt will be available on 31st October
- On November 7th, a new pin and Penguin Style will be released. On November 14th, a new furniture catalog will be released
- Herbert has asked a question in this newspaper, once again indicating his presence on the island and potentially suggesting he could visit this month with “an army of sleds”

CP Rewritten: Fire Extinguisher Pin Location
A new pin has been hidden on Club Penguin Rewritten until November 7th. You can find this pin at the Cove, just by the entrance, next to the “Monster Catcher Lessons” sign. It is the Fire Extinguisher Pin. 🧯
To obtain this pin, click it and then click “Yes”. It will be then be added to your inventory so that you can wear it as well as your stampbook! If someone is blocking it, I would suggest going on a less empty server to obtain it.

CP Rewritten: Several Mascots to Visit Today
Today’s the 14th Anniversary of Club Penguin! As usual, on this special day, there’ll be a celebratory post from me later today, but first for some news!
Plenty of mascots are confirmed to be visiting on Club Penguin Rewritten today! Jet Pack Guy has also visited with a new background, and you can find his tracker here.
I’m thinking of some ways to improve notifying you all about mascots who are visiting today, likely with alerts on the corner of your screen. I’ll be sure to let you know who’s visiting when it’s revealed! Agents are very likely to visit.
