CP Rewritten Times: Issue #77 – Halloween
A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten, or should I say Club Ghost, Times has been released, and it has a super cool spooky design!
For the best experience, I would suggest reading the paper for yourself online, but I’ll do my best to share what was revealed.
The paper revealed that:
- There’s going to be a Halloween igloo contest, which ends November 5th and starts tomorrow, and the theme is: Halloween
- 5 Grand Prize winners will receive a Green Split Level Igloo, Treasure Book Code, 25K coins and a special postcard
- 10 runner-ups will receive 10K coins, a special postcard and a Treasure Book code
- Don’t change your igloo when you enter it!

- The Halloween Party starts tomorrow!
- The Haunted Mansion belonging to Gariwald will be present there tomorrow, along with a “secret room” (likely the chamber accessible from the Book Room)
- There’ll be a puzzle to solve tomorrow, and possibly even a Scavenger Hunt since this week’s secret is tips on scavenger hunting
- A new pin will be hidden tomorrow
Halloween definitely sounds very exciting, and I can’t wait to check it out tomorrow! Good luck to those who enter the igloo contest too!

Sadly not, Club Penguin Rewritten parties never have a specific time – the team are trying to release it as soon as possible though. 🙂

So, does the Halloween party start tomorrow (October 26, 2018) and continue on through November 1, 2018 ending on the 2nd, or does it end on the 1st?

It should’ve started yesterday, October 25th. It sadly got slightly delayed due to a few bugs, but it hopefully will be releasing today, October 26th. It will the end on November 1st, unless it gets extended, although that might be the 2nd of November for some people depending on their timezone. 🙂

Great job as usual. I have a question: Does the igloo contest end on Nov. 5 or Nov. 1? I think the first round of winners will be announced on the 1st, which means you must submit your igloo before then. But if only the first round of winners are announced, that implies there will be more rounds with more winners. Clearly, I am confused. I haven’t seen anything about the 5th, but you have access to information that most people don’t.
BTW I loved your write-up on what CP has meant to you. You nailed it. A lot of people share your sentiment, to be sure.
As always, thanks for the Herculean effort you put forth. You are the greatest CPR go-to of all time.

Hi! That’s a very good point, I’m not too sure about a second round of igloo winners and I agree with you on how it’s confusing, since nothing more has been said. My guessing is it’s either a typo, or they’re releasing it in rounds to have more time to judge, but not much has been said about this and nothing is confirmed. I’ll try to find out some more information on this though!
