CP Rewritten Times: Issue #84 – Christmas Party

A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released, containing a huge amount of news (not on Card Jitsu Fire anymore either!) such as details on the Christmas Party and Coins for Change!

For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as there’s a cool little igloo activity too, but as always, I’ll summarise the news!

This paper revealed that:

  • Rockhopper will dock tomorrow, bringing a variety of new items and Treasure Hunt
  • Coins for Change is expected to also begin tomorrow
  • A new Furniture & Igloo catalog will be released tomorrow
  • On December 20th, the Christmas Party will begin, and it’s going to be even bigger than last year!
  • A new pin will also be hidden on December 20th

December is always a fun month, and it really seems like it’s going to be this year too! In case you missed it, the team are also going to be holding a meet-up soon, and you can learn more on the official blog here.

Thank you very much for reading, waddle on!

CP Rewritten: Tree Mob Stamp this Month

If you have enough penguins wearing just the Tree Costume and dancing in December, it’s possible to earn the Tree Mob Stamp.

This hasn’t been added quite yet, but the team have confirmed that it’ll be fixed either before or during the Christmas Party later this month.

I promise I’ll be getting this stamp fixed before or during our Christmas Party, we’re just focusing on (CJ Fire) bug fixes right now!

Along with this, it was also confirmed that the next newspaper will contain some details on the Christmas Party too.

Thank you for reading, waddle on!

CP Rewritten: Dojo Lantern Pin – December 2018

A new pin has been hidden on Club Penguin Rewritten until December 20th, themed all around Card Jitsu!

You can find this pin at the Dojo Courtyard near the door, as it’s the Dojo Lantern on the right!

To obtain this pin, click it and then click “Yes”. It will be then be added to your inventory so that you can wear it as well as your stampbook! If someone is blocking it, I would suggest going on a less empty server to obtain it.

Thank you very much for reading, I hope that this guide helped! Be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Lighthouse Party & Sailor’s Cap

A small mini-event has started on Club Penguin Rewritten, in celebration of the Beacon being fixed, which over seven and half million coins was donated to fixing!

If you head into the Lighthouse, you’ll find a few added decorations, and the Penguin Band playing! They don’t offer a background or any stamps, but do just look cool.

At the Beacon, you can find a free item, which is the Sailor’s Cap. If you look through the telescope, you’ll also see that Rockhopper is coming and will most likely arrive in time for the Christmas Party later this month!

The Rockhopper Tracker has been updated to reflect this.

This is just a small event but be sure to collect the free item whilst it’s still available!

CP Rewritten: December 2018 Penguin Style Secrets (Christmas)

A new Penguin Style has been released on Club Penguin Rewritten, filled with incredible items themed to get us in the Holiday spirit! It’s one of my favourites, and there’s a whole load of secrets.

View all Penguin Style secrets here

In this post, I will be sharing all the secrets (or cheats) inside the catalog! A red circle and orange arrow represents that a secret is hidden there and the image next to it is the item which you can get by clicking there.

Page one contains three secrets: Wool Socks, Blue Fuzzy Hat and the Candy Cane Wing-warmers.

Page two also contains four secrets, which are the Green & Blue Toque, the Blue Duffle Coat and the Red Scarf.

Page three contains a further four secrets: the Red Mittens, the Humbug Spectacles, the Red Snowsuit and the Viking Helmet.

As always, click the location of the Viking Helmet three times for the Blue Viking Helmet!

A new Item of the Month, the Ice Scarf, has been released for 500 coins, and the Baker’s Apron which allows you to make a cake has also made a return.

Whilst it is possible that an item could’ve been missed, this post will be updated immediately if it is incorrect. For now, I am fairly certain that these are all the secrets! I hope that this guide helped, thank you very much for reading!

CP Rewritten: Card Jitsu Fire Delay Update

A bit more news has been released about Card Jitsu Fire since the last post, so I just wanted to share with you what’s been revealed!

UPDATE: The bugs have been fixed and the planned release for Card Jitsu Fire is Thursday, with the rest of the update

  • The team are still aiming to release it as soon as possible, and they’re hoping that will be today
  • They’ve encountered a bug with 3 & 4 player games, where the game freezes upon losing
  • This will hopefully be the only bug which needs to be fixed before release
  • So far in testing, all stamps, matchmaking and levelling up works fine, so we should be close to release!
Card Jitsu Fire sneak peek

When the game does release, the team are expecting that bugs which weren’t occurring during testing will pop up, and if you run into any, you can always email support!

Please be patient though, as the team, especially Hagrid (an administrator), has been working very hard to get this released, and it’ll hopefully do so as soon as possible. Until then, I’ll keep you updated about anything else announced.

CP Rewritten: EPF Rebuild Next Year

Just a small amount of news on the Elite Penguin Force & Penguin Secret Agency which I wanted to share, it’ll likely be rebuilt in 2019.

The team also stated that Card Jitsu Fire has been more difficult to work on compared to the EPF Rebuild, which a lot has been revealed about, and you can read more on that here

(EPF/PSA) rebuild would be focused on next year, not this year.

-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administrator

The EPF was destroyed last year during Operation Blackout, which is confirmed never to return, but the team have promised big plans for the EPF and PSA, including custom missions.

CP Rewritten: Best of 2018 Video Planned

2019 is almost upon us, and you may remember that Club Penguin often used to do a “Best of Year” video at the end of each year.

This is likely going to be happening with Club Penguin Rewritten too, with a video probably being released showcasing the highlights of the game throughout the year, which could include anything from the New Year’s Countdown finishing to the end of 2018!

Hoping to have a Best of 2018 video coming up very soon!

-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administrator

It’d be a neat conclusion to the end of the year, and hopefully the countdown might even return too! Thank you for reading, waddle on!

CP Rewritten: December Sneak Peek

Happy December! A lot is planned this month, both on Club Penguin Rewritten and even something exciting on this blog, so it’s hopefully going to be a month full of festivities! ❄️

To start the month, and as an apology for the Card Jitsu Fire delay, a small sneak peek has been released of something coming to the game this month, likely an item. Here’s the sneak peek.

In terms of what it could be, I’m honestly not too sure. It could be an item, clothing or furniture, or perhaps something related to the Christmas Party, but I’ll guess we’ll find out later this month!

Thank you very much for reading, waddle on!
