CP Rewritten: Obtaining the Mug Shot Background
Sorry, there was one thing which I missed when discussing the Noir Party yesterday! There’s actually a background which you can obtain at the Stage, which has now been converted into a prison. All you need to do is waddle up to the black strip in front of the camera, and then just click the camera.
You’ll then be able to obtain the Mug Shot Background! The only other free item at this event is the Slice of Candy Pizza item, and you can view a separate guide to that here.

You saved me on this one. Nice catch. In the past, the camera was not quite as “specific”. I remember clicking the red button and your penguin would automatically walk to the proper spot for the bg. Or you’d just get the bg soon as you clicked the red button.

Yeah, I tried clicking the camera yesterday and nothing happened, so I just assumed there was no background involved. Turns out it’s a little more complicated!

I wasn’t really considering that particular pin to be part of the party’s items as opposed to just being part of the ordinary pin timetable.

It could be! Backgrounds usually aren’t the rarest things since they all could return eventually, but it’s difficult to imagine a more suitable time for the Mug Shot Background to appear.
