CP Rewritten: Obtaining the Mug Shot Background
Sorry, there was one thing which I missed when discussing the Noir Party yesterday! There’s actually a background which you can obtain at the Stage, which has now been converted into a prison. All you need to do is waddle up to the black strip in front of the camera, and then just click the camera.
You’ll then be able to obtain the Mug Shot Background! The only other free item at this event is the Slice of Candy Pizza item, and you can view a separate guide to that here.

Coronavirus: One Year On
I recognise that there’ll be thousands of people from across the world reading this, and the exact date of when the grave realisation about the pandemic sunk in will vary for everyone. For most people, that was around this time a year ago, though the significance of this particular date in Britain is that it marks one year since the first national lockdown was imposed. As such, this day has sort of become one of reflection. It always feel a little abnormal – even slightly uncomfortable – to stray to these more serious topics on a relatively light-hearted blog, but I think that it’s sometimes important; this is the one issue which has affected everyone’s lives, and I just wanted to very briefly express a few words.
There are some sentiments that remain inexpressible: with the deadly nature of a pandemic, many would’ve lost loved ones – if that applies to you, I’d like to express my sincere condolences; we’re all familiar with the grim statistics and death counts, but it’s difficult to imagine the grief and pain associated with that being so close to home. But also, everyone’s life has been shaped in some way by the pandemic, and I think it’s also important to recognise those who have had their lives irreversibly changed, along with those who have undergone such poignant difficulty and pain. The last year hasn’t been easy for many people (I’ve mentioned my own experiences previously here) and so many have sacrificed so much – that has left memories of unmarked occasions, numbness and emptiness for so many.
It still remains my hope that the last year has developed a spirit of togetherness and care, whether that be with the people around you, or even just in the Club Penguin community. It’s been a strange and often tough year, but it feels right to commemorate the sacrifice and feelings over it, and the remarkable spirit needed to get through that all. I just wanted to do that here. It may have been one of the most difficult years for many, but I wish everyone well – take care, and stay safe!

Club Penguin Rewritten: March 2021 Penguin Style Secrets
A new Penguin Style has been released on Club Penguin Rewritten for March! It contains several items related to the Noir Party, but there’s a huge number of secrets which you definitely won’t want to miss out on.

In this post, I will be sharing all the secrets (or cheats) inside the catalog! A circle and arrow represents that a secret is hidden there and the image next to it is the item which you can get by clicking there.
Page one contains six items: the Pearl Necklace, Blue Froggy Hat, Fuzzy Boots, Red Suede Jacket, Whistle, Yellow Sandals and The Sass.
Page two contains the Clerk Outfit, Casual Suit Jacket, Blue Striped Raincoat, Flannel Shirt, Green Rubber Boots and Lacy Shorts Outfit.
Page three contains six items, which are the Silver Watch, Red Froggy Hat, Purple Froggy Hat, Dark Brown Fuzzy Boots, Brown Flip Flops, Viking Helmet and The Sunstriker.
As always, you can click the location of the Viking Helmet three times for the Blue Viking Helmet!
Page four exists and contains a variety of hairstyles, but the only secret is the Honey Bee Caridgan. (thanks AgentFrog1 for pointing this out!)
The 3D Glasses and Mop & Bucket can also be found on the Penguins at Work section.
Whilst it is possible that an item could’ve been missed, this post will be updated immediately if it is incorrect. For now, I am fairly certain that these are all the secrets! I hope that this guide helped, thank you very much for reading!

CP Rewritten: Noir Party Begins on the Island
The Noir Party has begun on Club Penguin Rewritten! I’d typically share a longer guide to an event like this, but there isn’t too much worth sharing in a guide for this event; the two exceptions are that you can find the Slice of Candy Pizza item along with the Mug Shot Background. Also, don’t forget to pick up the Magnifying Glass Pin!
That being said, the main aspect of this event is the rooms! Many of them have been beautifully decorated, and you’ll find a gloomy atmosphere in many rooms. Some notable conversions though are that the Pizza Parlor has become a bank, and the Stage has become a prison!
The main purpose for this event is roleplay though, and there’s a whole load of clothing items related to this event in the Penguin Style. However, Jet Pack Guy and Dot will also be visiting with new backgrounds. You can find their trackers respectively here and here.

CP Rewritten: Magnifying Glass Pin Location
A new pin has been hidden on Club Penguin Rewritten! You can find this pin at the Dock near the helicopter on the left of the room! Although you can’t actually access the helipad, if you click the pin, you’ll still be able to obtain it. The pin is the Magnifying Glass. 🔍
To obtain this pin, click it and then click “Yes”. It will be then be added to your inventory so that you can wear it as well as your stampbook! If someone is blocking it, I would suggest going on an emptier server to obtain it.

CP Rewritten: Slice of Candy Pizza Item
There’s one item which can be found across the island during the Noir Party, so I just wanted to quickly share that in a separate post for those searching for it! It can be found at the Pizza Parlor near the left of the room at the top of the stairs there.
It’s the Slice of Candy Pizza item!
If you waddle up to it, you’ll be able to obtain it by clicking the “Yes” button. Just to be completely clear so there’s no confusion though, this is actually a hand item; it isn’t a pin, so make sure you’re looking in the right spot of your inventory if you’re trying to find it!

Club Penguin’s Real Coffee Shop
As usual on the fourth Monday of the month, it’s time to share a photo of something related to Club Penguin! This one was taken at the Kelowna HQ in Canada, and it shows a Coffee Shop.
However, this Coffee Shop has always been particularly special to many because it’s based on the room from the island. A lot of the decorations, such as the colours and some of the printings on the wall, were intended to replicate it. It also contains some other impressive details too.
These photos were actually taken during the Club Penguin Media Summit in 2013, where some local and national journalists were invited to the HQ. Thank you very much for reading, waddle on!

CP Rewritten: Noir Party – Login Sneak Peek
A new sneak peek has been released by the Club Penguin Rewritten team regarding the Noir Party! This one isn’t about something in-game, but rather the login screen which will be visible. It also includes the unique logo for the event at the top left of the image.
There aren’t really anymore details about when the event will be released; the original ambition was that it’d be released this week, but that doesn’t seem very likely anymore. However, the event is definitely still on track to begin this month, and it shouldn’t be delayed beyond then.

CP Rewritten: Money Bag Code
The Club Penguin Rewritten have released another new code which provides both the Money Bag and 1400 coins! It’s intended as a reference to the stimulus check which was recently initiated by the American government. The code is STIMMY.
Here is how to redeem the code:
- Go to the start page of the game, before logging in
- Click “Unlock Items Online” in the top right corner
- Click “I have a code”
- Enter the code which you read here into the box
- Click “Done” and you will have your items!
Be sure to redeem it before it expires!

CP Rewritten: Noir Party – Coffee Shop Sneak Peek
Earlier in the week, the Club Penguin Rewritten team shared the Town design during the Noir Party. They’ve now shown a second room, and the first inside one: the Coffee Shop! It’s a little less extravagantly decorated, but it contains a stage for players seeking to roleplay a press conference.
