CP Rewritten: Halloween – Herbert “More than Just the Mascot”
It’s not a secret that Herbert will be playing a prevalent role in this year’s Halloween Party, but it’s still unclear to what extent he will be involved. Last night, the team gave another indicator of his role in the party, responding with this when asked if he would be definitely visiting for the event.
He’s [Herbert] more than just the mascot 😉
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorIt seems almost definitive that Herbert will be visiting for the Halloween Party based on this hint, but it’s even more interesting to know what else is being planned for him! The team have already revealed that Herbert will be within the Corn Maze, so that definitely reflects his prominent role in the event, but quite what “more than just the mascot” means is probably still a mystery.
As soon as more is revealed about what’s being planned, I’ll be sure to let you know! Thank you very much for reading, waddle on!

- Haunted Armour – some knight’s armour in a darker colour

Both of these should be at the Halloween Party when it begins on October 21st! Thank you very much for reading, and be sure to check back for more of the latest news in relation to that event!

CP Rewritten: Catchin’ Waves Returns
Catchin’ Waves has returned to Club Penguin Rewritten, and it can be found at the Cove! As a brief little reminder, this is the mini-game in which the aim is to surf the seas, performing tricks or avoiding sinking in Survival Mode.
It’s worth noting that the stamps have been added to the game, although it’s not possible to obtain the ones which require a puffle yet, and that the Game Upgrades catalog containing surfboards will be included in the near future. The team are aiming to do that this week, while also releasing a code for some other surfboard items.

If you’d like to give it a go, be sure to head over to the Cove! The return of Sled Racing and Catchin’ Waves in the same month is quite surprising, but it’s great to see the wide range of mini-games slowly return.

CP Rewritten: Halloween – Herbert to be in Corn Maze
Some key information has been released regarding the Halloween Party! The first is that a date has now been revealed by the Club Penguin Rewritten team: the event will begin on October 21st. Revealing the planned date for an event to begin is quite rare these days, so it’s definitely something to look forward to!
The second piece of information relates to the Corn Maze, which has now been featured in a new video sneak peek by the team. It goes slightly further than the previous one, actually exploring the maze itself. Inside the maze, it can quite clearly be seen that Herbert is present!
This is the first piece of confirmed evidence that Herbert will definitely be associated with the Halloween Party, and could even be visiting for it. As soon as there’s more information, I’ll be sure to let you know. Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Halloween Party – Video Trailer
The Club Penguin Rewritten team have released a video trailer for the upcoming Halloween Party! It contains a lot of information about the event, as it’s possible to see all the exterior rooms on the right side of the island, from the Town to the Mine Shack. It also ends with a sneak peek of the Corn Maze, which increasingly looks like it will be included in the event. Along with the rooms, it’s also possible to see a couple of free items that will be available!
As you can tell, the trailer really does provide a good understanding of the spooky atmosphere which will be present at the Halloween Party, so I’d highly recommend taking a look! I’ll be sure to keep you updated with any more developments regarding the event, including any future sneak peeks which are shared.

CP Rewritten: Speculation Grows over Future Herbert Visit
When you head to the Town on Club Penguin Rewritten, you might notice a piece of white fur next to the box that’s part of the Halloween Party construction. Although it looks a bit out of place, this is almost certainly fur belonging to Herbert. In the past, his fur appearing on the island has indicated that he’s plotting something nefarious, and that he would visit soon.

This speculation regarding Herbert has grown as a result of the team’s message last night, which seems to indicate that a future visit is being planned.
Q: Is Herbert going to be a mascot again for the first time in [almost] two years?
Answer by Club Penguin Rewritten team: 😉In the past, when Herbert’s fur first appeared in September 2017, it took two months for him to appear, so there’s no guarantee that he’ll appear at the Halloween Party. However, it’s been over 700 days since he’s been on the island, so hopefully it won’t be too long a wait now!
For the best chance of meeting Herbert, as always, I’d recommend checking the Herbert Tracker. Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Halloween – Mine Shack Sneak Peek
Yesterday, I shared part of a sneak peek for the Mine Shack at the Halloween Party. The team have now released the full image, so I just wanted to quickly share it with you in case you were curious as to how it’ll look like! As mentioned yesterday, it shows that the Haunted House will be returning to the island this year, and there’s also a spooky sky.

This is the first completed room to be shared as a sneak peek, but as soon as there’s more information about the Halloween Party later in the month, I’ll be sure to let you know! Thank you very much for reading!

CP Rewritten: Halloween – Corn Maze Sneak Peek
A new sneak peek has been released by the Club Penguin Rewritten team of an extremely exciting room planned for the Halloween Party! It’s called the “Corn Maze”, and it’ll probably be involved with the hunt for candy at the event.
The unique aspect of this room is that the team are aiming for the room to follow you as you waddle around. In other words, there won’t be a loading screen taking you to a different room when you go down a different path, but rather the “camera” of the room will move to where your penguin is located!

This is something new which hasn’t been tried in-game before, so the team are stressing that development of this room requires a lot of work, but it should hopefully be ready for the Halloween Party. It’ll be interesting to see how waddling around this room will feel, but it sounds very promising!
