CP Rewritten: More Igloo Contests Coming Soon
In the comments of the most recent blog post on Club Penguin Rewritten, some exciting news was revealed by Thorn, an administrator for the game!
He said that the team have been working on technology behind the scenes to help manage igloo decorating contests, suggesting that many more will be coming soon. Perhaps they’ll even regularly be held through the official blog too, which would be awesome.

Igloo contests work so that you design an igloo based on a theme, and then there is a submit option. The winners receive a prize! Sadly, there haven’t been many recently but that’s likely going to change soon.

CP Rewritten: 101 Days of Fun – Day #29
Day 29 of “101 Days of Fun” can now be completed on Club Penguin Rewritten! This is the activity for today, July 10th:
Grab at least ten penguins at the Ski Hill and start a friendly competition with Sled Racing, you can even keep track of who wins!
This activity is fairly explanatory, though it may be difficult to actually do! Just grab some friends, ideally at least ten, and race each other at the Ski Hill!

You may be wondering if this was possible, as a few days ago there was a bug which prevented most people from playing Sled Racing. However, this was fixed two days ago, along with an issue with Card Jitsu!

You will then have completed today’s activity, and a staff member will give you 1001 coins if they see you! Also, you’ll know if you get the coins as a pop-up will appear informing you if the coins have been added to your account!
Thank you very much for reading, good luck with the activity!

You can find these by clicking the safe chat bubble on the left of your toolbar, hovering over “Roleplay” and then “Coffee Shop” and then clicking any phrase you wish to use.

You will then have completed today’s activity, and a staff member will give you 1001 coins if they see you! Also, you’ll know if you get the coins as a pop-up will appear informing you if the coins have been added to your account!

CP Rewritten: Dance Contest Disks Cancelled
This is just a quick update to let you know that although additional tracks were due to be implemented to Dance Contest this week, the team have cancelled the update.
The good news is that we received stamps for Dance Contest and a new track at the start of the Music Jam, which has been awesome, but no further tracks are going to be added anytime soon.
The team published this statement:
We’re sorry for the lack of updates on the new Dance Contest songs, we know we let you all down.
Unfortunately, we won’t be adding the new songs as we’ve run into a few technical issues with them that has led us to the decision to dedicate our time and resources to other cool things you’ll be seeing soon.
We’re glad we were able to bring some new content to Dance Contest even if it wasn’t as much as we had wanted and we hope you all had fun playing The Party Starts Now and collecting the new stamps.
We hope you understand

CP Rewritten: The Migrator is Approaching
If you head to the Beacon and check the telescope, you’ll see that the Migrator is approaching Club Penguin Rewritten!
The most interesting thing though is that you can see plants on the ship, which confirms that the Island Adventure Party is definitely taking place this month as this was an iconic part of the party from classic Club Penguin.

Rockhopper will also visit this month, and I’ve been doing some big work on the mascot trackers to make it more effective! You can view a tracker for him here. You can also view details about July’s parties here.

CP Rewritten: Snow & Sports Catalog – July 2018
A new Snow & Sports catalog has been released at the Stadium on Club Penguin Rewritten, along with the Ice Rink being replaced with the Stadium!
There’s plenty of pages in this season’s catalog, but for the sake of simplicity, I’ll only feature the two pages with secrets on it. The second page has the Yellow Soccer Jersey hidden in the net.

And the third page contains the Green Soccer Jersey, which can be purchased for 600 coins by clicking the left football near the orange penguin.

The Stadium has also made its return, and you can play football by kicking the ball around, and even use some new Safe Chat Messages to help!

CP Rewritten: New Pizza Parlor Design
A slightly unexpected but cool change has made its way to Club Penguin Rewritten, and you can notice it at the Pizza Parlor!
It’s received a bit of a redesign, and at first, you may only notice that a plant has been added. However, the shading (I’m not too sure of the technical term!) has been done to make it a little bit darker, and more like an actual Pizza Parlor.
UPDATE: Jonrad has kindly pointed out that there’s a really cool animation if you click the plates!
New Pizza Parlor Old Pizza Parlor For example, a really cool new effect is the pizza glowing as it’s cooked in the oven. Considering the Pizza Parlor is one of the most popular rooms, this definitely is a really cool change!

CP Rewritten: Beach Umbrella Pin Location – July 2018
A new pin has been hidden on Club Penguin Rewritten until July 18th, and it is themed around Summer!
You can find this pin at the Lodge Attic (by climbing the ladder from the Ski Lodge) sticking out from a box at the bottom left.

To obtain this pin, click it and then click “Yes”. It will be then be added to your inventory so that you can wear it as well as your stampbook! If someone is blocking it, I would suggest going on a less empty server to obtain it.
