Club Penguin Island: HUGE 1.8 & Igloo Leaks

    November 18, 2017 /

A huge amount of unofficial information regarding igloos and so much more has been uncovered and kindly shared by MikeyMichael and MrKcyre, and all of it will be coming in the 1.8 update!

Though most of this information is unofficial and not confirmed, they are from files which have been accurate in every update so far! Please make sure to keep this in mind whilst reading this post!

    Igloos

There will be at least eight igloo structures, most of which will be exclusive to members!

    • Modular Home (Small) – 100 coins – For everyone
    • Modular Home (Medium) – 125 coins – For everyone
    • Modular Home Large – 200 coins
    • Beach Shack – 100 coins
    • Space Bunker – 200 coins
    • Shop (Small) -125 coins
    • Shop (Medium) – 175 coins
    • Shop (Large) – 250 coins

These seem really cool, and I’m really curious to see how the Shop will work! They don’t seem too expensive either, which is cool! There might also be a Forest Igloo, but I am not sure of how much that will cost.

A list of furniture has also been revealed, containing price and names of the items! Some of them sound really cool, but it’s a long list and there are no images, so I’ll just allow you to take a look if you would like at these images containing the furniture names!

Members will also be able to play certain music tracks in their igloo! There will also be five variations of lighting for our igloos!
    • Default
    • Night
    • Sunset
    • Stormy
    • Spooky
    New Items

There will be seven new emojis that can be unlocked in the 1.8 update!

    • Carolling Penguin
    • Coin
    • Crier Bell
    • Earth Heart
    • Present
    • Snow Penguin
    Holiday Fireworks
    Fluff Cake

There will also be new Party Supplies in this update! The team posted images of two of them, but there will be a Holiday Party Blaster, Candy Cane and Fluff Cake Tray as well! As for the Holiday Party itself, it will indeed be bigger than the Halloween Party with up to seven cutscenes!

There will also be a new collectible called the Crystal Snowflake.

    Goat Decal

Along with that, there will be new decals!

    • Goat (Olaf’s Frozen Adventure)
    • Snowflake (Olaf’s Frozen Adventure)
    • Tree (Olaf’s Frozen Adventure)
    • Baymax (Big Hero6)
    • Fred (Big Hero6)
    • Hiro (Big Hero6)
    • Bells
    • Coins for Change
    • Holiday Gingerbread

There will also be new decals to design clothes with!

    • Olaf (X3)
    • Neon
    • Baymax (X2)
    • Gold Glitter
    • Tree
    • Snowflakes

On the topic of clothes, there will be a lot of new clothes too, as well as seven t-shirts for non-members too, which is great! These will be the:

    • Level 1 TShirt (For everyone)
    • Level 2 TShirt (For everyone)
    • Level 10 TShirt (For everyone)
    • Level 15 TShirt (For everyone)
    • Level 20 TShirt (For everyone)
    • Swoopy Lines TShirt (For everyone)
    • Wrap Up Tee (For everyone)
    • Elsa’s Winter Dress
    • Elsa’s Winter Hair
    • Anna’s Winter Dress
    • Anna’s Winter Hair
    • Olaf Costume
    • Baymax’s Battle Suit
    • Wing Addons
    • Hiro’s Battle Helm
    • Hiro’s Battle Suit
    • Hiro’s Boots
    • Fuzzy Sweater
    • Gold Bauble
    • Santa Suit
    • Santa Hat
    • wrapUpTee (For everyone)
    • Santa’s Beard
    • Reindeer Antlers

Along with this, there will also be a reward for those who test the Desktop Version of Club Penguin Island, up until February 28th. Descendants 2 will also be coming in the 1.9 update!

So when does the 1.8 update come out? Whilst the only official information is late November or early December, the files suggest that the update will come out November 28th but this is not confirmed.  Overall, I am really excited for the update, especially for igloos, but am still quite disappointed there will be no new levels!

I would once again like to give a huge thanks to MikeyMichael and MrKcyre for sharing this information with me! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides!

Club Penguin Island: Holiday Party Decorations

    November 3, 2017 /

The Club Penguin Island team have shared some decorations for the Winter Holiday Party coming to the island next month! Surprisingly, Coins for Change will also be making a return to the island!

The team made a post on the blog here, sharing lots of photos and also a small amount of information. Could this line suggest Herbert, or maybe some other activity? I really hope that there is a bit more to do than the Halloween Party!

All will be calm and all will be bright–until something suspicious hinders the hype! Every penguin will have to work together to help save the holiday festivities.

The most exciting screenshot is the one of Island Central, which looks absolutely beautifully decorated! There’s a darker sky, lots of trees, wreaths, stars and other decorations! It looks amazing! But also most notably, we can see the pot for Coins for Change! I’m so glad to see that make a return!

Also in Island Central will be a Holiday Feast, hosted by Aunt Arctic! Along with lots of (new) food, we can also see what appears to be some rewards, including items and party supplies! I’m really hoping that we will see a system similar to the advent calendar when the party hits the island!

The other thing which the screenshot shows is how Igloos & Interiors will look like when opened! Also, what is that mysterious target and those Christmas trees? I reckon that they have to do with saving the Holiday Party!

The Stage will also receive some decorations, and we can see the presents in the back! Hopefully every few days, you will be able to open up the present to receive a reward!

The final screenshot posted was a few more decorations on Mt. Blizzard! We can see presents, lights, a tree and a wreath, but nothing too exciting here!

Overall, the Holiday Party looks amazing, especially in Island Central! My only hope is that there are multiple activities that last the whole event, unlike the Halloween Party and that there is an advent calendar! The team also posted an emoji sneak peek here.

I’m also extremely glad to see Coins for Change return, for those who aren’t aware what that is, virtual coins are donated in-game by us, but then the team donate real money to specific causes in the real world! I’m curious to know what those causes will be this year!

Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Island news and guides! Waddle on!

Club Penguin Island: Coins for Change

    February 25, 2017 /

When Disney bought Club Penguin in 2007, they made a bid under the deal that 10% of profits would go to charity.

The most famous case of this is Coins for Change and now Megg has said that they “definitely want to keep Coins for Change going” and that it’s something talked about everyday.

This is awesome news which I’m pleased to hear about! It doesn’t confirm if it’s possible but at least we know that the team want it too!
