CP Island: No Best of 2017 Video

    January 3, 2018 /

For the last few years, it’s been a tradition for the Club Penguin team to release a video summarising the highlights of an ending year. Unfortunately, this isn’t going to be continued regarding 2017.

    https://twitter.com/clubpenguin/status/948645151353716736

Whilst there won’t be a Best of 2017 video, something else is planned to come around March 29th, which is quite a while away, so I’m hoping that it will be something exciting! This is just a short post to let you know of this new information.

Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Island news and guides! Waddle on!

CP Island: Descendants 2 Fashion Sneak Peek

    December 23, 2017 /

New items will be coming to the Disney Shop in the 1.9 update! These will be the Descendants 2 items and yesterday, the team revealed a sneak peek of how it will look.

I’d like to start by sincerely apologising for the lack of Club Penguin Island content. Up until yesterday, I was unable to access my account and as such, I was forced to stop sharing posts regarding the game. Fortunately that issue is now fixed, and there will be an update on CP Island content on New Year’s Day!

Firstly, a sneak peek was revealed on how the Disney Shop in Island Central will look like!

This looks quite cool but I hope that the surrounding areas aren’t decorated. Inside the Disney Shop, there will be lots of new fashion, varying from Mal’s hairstyle to Dizzy’s dress! There also are currently some Descendants items available right now too.

The team also shared a sneak peek of Evie’s gown from different angles, which is an outfit that will also be available to buy.

Whilst it is disappointing to see an excessive amount of the same franchise once again despite strong previous feedback, these outfits do look cool. I’ve never seen Descendants though, so I don’t recognise the characters!

Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more or the latest news and guides!

CP Island: Holiday Party – Herbert Arrives (Part 2)

    December 11, 2017 /

The second part of the Holiday Party has started on Club Penguin Island! Firstly, I apologise for not posting about the first cutscene, however I’ve been super busy recently. Also, this one is a lot more exciting!

Once you log on, Aunt Arctic will speak to you, telling you of the success regarding Coins for Change! But suddenly, Herbert’s Iceberg Base will appear and Herbert will steal all the Holiday decorations!

As such, we’ll need to redecorate the island! A target will appear near the Igloos & Interiors shop and Aunt Arctic will instruct you to throw snowballs at it.

As you throw snowballs at the targets, the targets will start to change different colours before returning purple!

Eventually, we’ll be able to earn 50 coins and some Rookie XP, with members receiving a Gold Bauble, as a reward, however this is automated. In fact, the Santa Suit and Holiday Emojis from dancing are already available!

Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Island news!

CP Island: Environment & School Decals and Fabrics

    December 11, 2017 /

At long last, new levels will be coming to Club Penguin Island in the 1.9 update! Earlier this week, the team showed some sneak peeks of the Level 25 and Level 26 packs!

Level 25 will unlock the Environmental Pack. We can already see some really cool explorer-themed outfits shown by Dot in the image above! Those binoculars look great! However, there will also be some fabrics. The fabric shown below are bird feathers, it’s super cool!

There’s a new decal of some animal’s paw prints which you can use on your clothes, as well as a “Community Badge”. This seems really familiar to me…

Level 26 will unlock the School Pack! This fabric was shared, and it is supposed to be a “School Plaid”.

There are two new decals, and honestly, I’m not quite sure what they’re supposed to be. The first one is a “School Arrow” and the second one is a “School Moon”!

I absolutely love the Environmental Pack, but above all, I’m just really glad we’re getting new levels! Hopefully the 1.9 update comes out soon! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides!

Club Penguin Island Version 1.8 – FULL BREAKDOWN

    December 3, 2017 /

The Club Penguin Island 1.8 update is officially out for everyone, containing igloos, a desktop version, many new items and of course, the Holiday Party! In this post, I’ll be sharing the main things in the update!

The first new change are two new redesigns of the login screen! These look super awesome, especially the Holiday Party in the background! All images taken are on the mobile version as the desktop version isn’t compatible with my device!

Upon logging in, you will receive a bunch of Holiday gifts, including items, blueprints, decals, fabrics and even music tracks to play in your igloo!

When you enter Island Central, Aunt Arctic will greet you with the latest Holiday Party information. A feast is being prepared and you need to return to her on December 6th!

That’s all the Holiday Party has to offer so far, but the main fun begins on December 6th so be sure to check that out! The other huge feature is igloos!

Igloos & Interiors is now open, selling lots of different kinds of furniture at a fairly cheap price, as well as a few different kinds of igloos! You can also access this catalog directly from your igloo.

You can access your igloo with the igloo tram and others igloos with the Friends List! This igloo by Tech70 is definitely one of my favourite so far!

Although I think that this is an amazing start, I’d love to see more developments to igloos! Hopefully we’ll receive new furniture frequently and I’d quite like to see a map appear when you open the tram, with the stations being igloos which are unlocked.

The other main feature is the desktop version of Club Penguin Island, as well as some updates to the website! You’re able to download the app on the official website here!

A “Membership” page has also been added to the website! For the first time on the island, you’re able to select between three different plans to buy membership at a cheaper monthly rate.

The final change to the website is that you are now able to view your profile! This tells you some basic information such as how old your penguin is, your penguin’s level and how many coins you have collected.

The other new feature is Island Live! I personally am strongly disliking this phone update and prefer the old one, but it’s cool to be able to tell when an event starts! For example, it will tell you when the next Dance Battle begins.

Olaf’s Adventure (Frozen) and Big Hero 6 have also come to the island! Both Disney shops have been decorated and now stock these items, and there’s a new Snowflake collectible.

That’s all for now, thank you very much for reading! I’m sorry that this post is a few days late, I’ve been super busy recently. Be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides!

CP Island: 1.8 App Icon & Desktop Release Time

    November 28, 2017 /

The Club Penguin Island app icon has been revealed, containing the new logo for the 1.8 update! In fact, the desktop version will be releasing in the next two days!

This is the icon, containing Olaf and igloos.

Though it is slightly disappointing about the icon being focused on Frozen, the igloos in the background look awesome! However, that’s not all that was revealed!

A countdown for the desktop version of Club Penguin Island has started! Thank you to Hagrid for sharing this! It will release tomorrow!

That’s all for now, I can’t wait for the update to release! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Island news and guides!
