CP Island: Holiday Party – Beacon Boardwalk Decorations
A photo has been revealed by the Club Penguin Island team showing how the Holiday Party will look like in Beacon Boardwalk in the 1.8 update next month!
The design looks absolutely fabulous and beautiful! I especially love the sky, snow and all of the Christmas lights on the island, it has such a cool feel! Here’s the image which was shared!

The Holiday Party looks absolutely incredible, and I can’t wait to be able to check it out! I also hope that there will be unique activities, and maybe even an Advent Calendar! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest 1.8 news as the update is coming next week.

Club Penguin Island: 1.8 Update Notes

The Club Penguin Island team have made a post sharing the main contents of the 1.8 update, as well as a really cool image of igloos which you can see above!
Here’s what was posted on the blog!
Everyone can:
- Create an igloo and invite friends!
- Use their CPI account across mobile and PC & Mac!
- Stop Herbert from ruining the island feast!
- Help a real world charity by donating coins to Coins for Change!
- Track activities on the CPI Phone’s Island Live app!
Members can:
- Access exclusive igloo furniture, lighting, and music!
- Collect items inspired by Olaf’s Frozen Adventure!
- Be a hero with Big Hero 6 fashion!
- Celebrate the holidays with new party supplies!
Island Live will be a new app on the CPI Phone which will tell you about things going on in the island, such as if a Dance Battle is starting! The update sounds great, but it is unfortunate that there will be no new levels.

Club Penguin Island: HUGE 1.8 & Igloo Leaks

A huge amount of unofficial information regarding igloos and so much more has been uncovered and kindly shared by MikeyMichael and MrKcyre, and all of it will be coming in the 1.8 update!
Though most of this information is unofficial and not confirmed, they are from files which have been accurate in every update so far! Please make sure to keep this in mind whilst reading this post!
Igloos

There will be at least eight igloo structures, most of which will be exclusive to members!
- Modular Home (Small) – 100 coins – For everyone
- Modular Home (Medium) – 125 coins – For everyone
- Modular Home Large – 200 coins
- Beach Shack – 100 coins
- Space Bunker – 200 coins
- Shop (Small) -125 coins
- Shop (Medium) – 175 coins
- Shop (Large) – 250 coins
These seem really cool, and I’m really curious to see how the Shop will work! They don’t seem too expensive either, which is cool! There might also be a Forest Igloo, but I am not sure of how much that will cost.
A list of furniture has also been revealed, containing price and names of the items! Some of them sound really cool, but it’s a long list and there are no images, so I’ll just allow you to take a look if you would like at these images containing the furniture names!

Club Penguin Island: Desktop Version & Concept Wall

Some huge news has been released today regarding a PC & Mac version of Club Penguin Island which has been confirmed to be coming next month, and there will also be an open beta for everyone to help discover bugs!
This is some huge news. Some other details released are that it will be a downloadable app (not a browser game) and that both mobile and desktop players will be able to play together! Also, your accounts will be linked so it does not matter which device you use!

From the image above, we can get a small feel as to how the desktop version will be like! We will be able to use our mouse or keys to move our penguin! However, not much else is known about desktop so far. We did get this picture though and it looks like the Desktop “Welcome Screen”.

Desktop is a huge addition to the game! Whilst my computer is unlikely to support it and I will still be playing on mobile, it means that there will be hopefully a lot more players to play with! That’s not all coming in the 1.8 update though.

The team have promised that the Winter Holiday Party will be even better than the Halloween Party! Also, there will be some new Frozen-related items in the Disney Shop. It also seems that “Island Live” will be a new revamp of the current CPI Phone.
There is, however, one huge thing I’d like to mention that isn’t specifically related to the 1.8 update and that is this concept wall here!

There’s a ton of different drawings, including a new shirt on the right and a huge sketch too! On the left, it seems that there are some designs for some epic furniture and for buildings! In fact, one of them even looks like a puffle, and I’ve got a whole post on the Puffle Wilds which you can read here.

There’s also a mysterious sketch of a pylon and what looks to be a new area! The Coffee Shop chair looks to be some new furniture, as well as there being some igloo location sketches!
The team mentioned a newsletter at the end of the video, but this isn’t available to all countries unfortunately. I’ve signed up for it and if I do receive any newsletters, I’ll be sure to post it here though! In the meantime, I’m really hyped for the 1.8 update next month!
Thank you very much for reading, waddle on!

Club Penguin Island: Igloo Layouts, Location & Lighting

A brand new sneak peek post was released on Friday containing lots of cool photos of igloos coming in the 1.8 update next month!
I would like to start by apologising for not posting this earlier, but I’ve been really busy recently! I definitely will try to continue posting more often and I wanted to share this with you because it looks really cool!
The first two photos shared with us are two angles of viewing igloos, as well as lots of different furniture items! It seems that there will be different angles to design our igloos, and there’s a variety of furniture, though the actual igloo does seem a bit standard. This is because it is the option for everyone, including non-members.
However, we also received some really exciting pictures! These are locations which members can be able to build their igloo in. We can see Sunny Shores and Wayover Woods. The woods look amazing!

That’s not the only member feature for igloos though! Members will also be able to change the sky lighting of your igloo. The two ones which were shared were the Night Sky and the Sunset Sky. The Sunset Sky looks absolutely incredible!
Also, I’d just like to point out how it appears that there is even a Party Supplies booth inside the igloo! I wonder how many other possibilities there are with igloos…I find the Beach Sunset igloo incredible!
The igloo locations and sky colours look absolutely beautiful, and I can’t wait for the 1.8 update so we’ll be able to try them out! It turns out that the official release for everyone will be in early December, which is still some time away.

I can’t wait for the update later next month, I really hope to share more igloo news with you soon! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Island 1.8 news!

To further celebrate the event, there will be a few meet-ups during the weekend with some staff members! Here’s what was posted.

Saturday, November 11th: Jump off the waterfall together (in Duck Tubes, of course) and float around Coconut Cove.

Club Penguin Island: Holiday Party Decorations

The Club Penguin Island team have shared some decorations for the Winter Holiday Party coming to the island next month! Surprisingly, Coins for Change will also be making a return to the island!
The team made a post on the blog here, sharing lots of photos and also a small amount of information. Could this line suggest Herbert, or maybe some other activity? I really hope that there is a bit more to do than the Halloween Party!
All will be calm and all will be bright–until something suspicious hinders the hype! Every penguin will have to work together to help save the holiday festivities.
The most exciting screenshot is the one of Island Central, which looks absolutely beautifully decorated! There’s a darker sky, lots of trees, wreaths, stars and other decorations! It looks amazing! But also most notably, we can see the pot for Coins for Change! I’m so glad to see that make a return!

Also in Island Central will be a Holiday Feast, hosted by Aunt Arctic! Along with lots of (new) food, we can also see what appears to be some rewards, including items and party supplies! I’m really hoping that we will see a system similar to the advent calendar when the party hits the island!
The other thing which the screenshot shows is how Igloos & Interiors will look like when opened! Also, what is that mysterious target and those Christmas trees? I reckon that they have to do with saving the Holiday Party!

The Stage will also receive some decorations, and we can see the presents in the back! Hopefully every few days, you will be able to open up the present to receive a reward!

The final screenshot posted was a few more decorations on Mt. Blizzard! We can see presents, lights, a tree and a wreath, but nothing too exciting here!

Overall, the Holiday Party looks amazing, especially in Island Central! My only hope is that there are multiple activities that last the whole event, unlike the Halloween Party and that there is an advent calendar! The team also posted an emoji sneak peek here.
I’m also extremely glad to see Coins for Change return, for those who aren’t aware what that is, virtual coins are donated in-game by us, but then the team donate real money to specific causes in the real world! I’m curious to know what those causes will be this year!

CP Island: Holiday Emoji Sneak Peek
The Club Penguin Island team have given us a sneak peek of something new coming in the 1.8 update! To me, it looks similar to an emoji, but there is a possibility it could be a decal!
The emoji is wearing a top hat and looks like a snowman, suggesting it’s for the Holiday Season!

The emoji looks pretty cool, but also slightly incomplete! I think that if this isn’t the final product, a carrot still needs to be added to the nose to make the emoji look even more like a snowman! However, I’m glad we’re at least going to get some new rewards in the new update which look cool!

CP Island’s New Community Manager: Sam!
The new Club Penguin Island community manager has been revealed, her penguin name is Penny Pebbles but her actual name is Sam!
To introduce her, the team have uploaded a short new video, explaining a bit about the changes! The main thing noted is that Joe will still also be a community manager and is not going anywhere!
I’d like to give a warm welcome to Sam and I hope that she enjoys her time on our island! I’m really excited for some of the fun times ahead! For example, the team now want to continue to create new (hopefully non-Disney) Island Insiders!

I can’t wait to hear more from Penny Pebbles and wish her the best of luck at the new job! Thank you very much for reading, waddle on!

CP Island: Puffle Wilds Concept & Cafe
It’s been a while since I’ve caught up with some of the latest Club Penguin Island news, I apologise for this! Please note that all information in this post is unofficial unless stated otherwise.
Today I want to share with you some unofficial pictures and information about future updates. Let’s start with an extremely realistic looking concept of the Puffle Wilds, kindly shared to me by Flippy!

This is a concept that could be for Club Penguin, but it looks to be very much in the Island style, as well as there being interactive items. It looks incredible, even showcasing a design of puffles! This is just an early concept, but we can see an area similar to the Puffle Park and lots of stores!
You might be wondering that this could just be a brilliant fan-art, but there is more proof to suggest a Puffle Forest like the one above! This screenshot below is from the files and kindly provided to me MrKcyre mentions a few buildings, include a puffleForest.

This also suggests it is highly likely a Puffle Forest will come in the future! However, you may be wondering about some of the other items on there! For example, the Cafe. This is likely what the Cafe will seem like, shared to me by MrKcyre. It has the same sort of feel to the buildings in the concept image!

The other building is Rory’s Furniture Sign! It seems that the beloved builder from classic Club Penguin, Rory, will finally be making his return to our new island! This has been rumoured for a while, but now there is even more evidence to suggest this!

That’s some very exciting information in this post, especially relating to the new area! I’d like to give a huge thank you to Flippy and MrKcyre for the images in this post! Please remember that none of the information here is officially confirmed.
Thank you for reading, waddle on!
