The Summer Luau, along with the Summer Games, is currently ongoing on Club Penguin Rewritten from now until September 5th! This post will provide a guide to the party, including the items and some of the amazing rooms to check out.

It does seem contextually likely that a mascot will visit for this party, but no indication has been given yet on if this is the case. 🐙

CP Rewritten: Watermelon Pin Location

A new pin has been hidden on Club Penguin Rewritten until September 12th. You can find this pin at the Boiler Room, accessible from the Night Club, near the bottom left by your map. It is the Watermelon Pin. 🍉

To obtain this pin, click it and then click “Yes”. It will be then be added to your inventory so that you can wear it as well as your stampbook! If someone is blocking it, I would suggest going on a less empty server to obtain it.

CP Rewritten Times: Issue #121 – Stadium Games

A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released, ahead of the Summer Luau that’s due to begin tomorrow! It doesn’t contain much information regarding updates, though does announce a surprise event for tomorrow.

For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.

This paper revealed:

  • The Summer Luau kicks off tomorrow! Along side that, a new event has also been announced to start tomorrow: the Stadium Games, which will involve penguins selecting a team to participate in events
  • A new pin will also be released tomorrow
  • A new Penguin Style catalog will be released on September 5th

The Stadium Games event certainly does seem interesting, and it’ll be cool to see what the island is like tomorrow! Thank you very much for reading, waddle on!

CP Rewritten: Enchanted Armour Concepts

You may remember the Enchanted Armour which was available for the second week of this year’s Medieval Party. If not, click here for a memory refresh.

The administrator who designed this armour, Joee, has now revealed a few of the initial ideas for the colour scheme of this armour, before arriving at the final result. Check them out!

I thought this was cool to share, since it’s rare for concepts such as these to be released of the initial ideas before the final product.

Club Penguin Rewritten: Hiring Artists

The Club Penguin Rewritten community has always contained a huge variety of talent, with many fantastic artists. If you are an artist, there is now an opportunity to contribute to the game’s upcoming projects!

The team have requested you “share your skills” with them, whether it be drawing, graphic designing, or even composing music. This opportunity is currently limited to artists, but could be extended to different roles in the future if it proves to be successful.

If you’re interested (and presumably, of the age 13 or above), you can email apply@cprewritten.net with some details of your work.

The results of the Medieval Party’s igloo contest have been released in the latest newspaper, and the prizes extend to coins, Treasure Book codes, and even a new igloo!

The new igloo is the Golden Castle igloo, and here’s how it looks like!

Congratulations if you won this igloo, all of the igloo designs featured are amazing, and I’m sure that there’s many more fantastic designs that sadly didn’t get featured.

Also, a special thank you to Rocky Road86, who owns the igloo in the screenshot above. Thank you for reading, waddle on!

A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released! It talks a bit about the upcoming Summer Luau, but the main part of this paper is the announcement of the Medieval igloo contest winners!

For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.

CP Rewritten Times: Issue #119 – Summer Luau

A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released, announcing the conclusion of the Medieval Party and the defeat of the Dragon Queen, along with the next event on the island!

For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.

This paper revealed:

  • The Dragon Queen has been defeated and the Medieval Party is now over! For the Medieval Party igloo contest, the results will be released next week. Learn more.
  • On August 22nd, a new postcard selection and a new Stage play will be released
  • August 29th will be the date of the new pin, and the day the Summer Luau releases. It’s been described as a “relaxing event”

As such, it seems that the next party is going to be the Summer Luau! Last year, the Summer Luau was quite a small event which only really covered two rooms.

It’s not known yet if this year the Summer Luau is going to be another mini-event like last year, or a full-scale party, but I’ll let you know when more details are released! As a reminder though, some summer parties are due to be very custom.
