CP Rewritten: Western Party Under Consideration
The Club Penguin Rewritten team have expressed consideration for holding a Western Party at some point this year. Although no development has begun on it yet, they described some of the features which it could include, such as a “Sheriffs v Cowboys” element to the event.
Potential parties for this year [include] a full Western Party, with a cool team feature that includes “Sheriffs and Cowboys”, basically with trains and other things that Cowboys can control with the Sheriffs stopping them – this is in my head, nothing written.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorFor those unaware, there was a Western Party mini-event in June 2019 on the island, but this was very small and just restricted to a couple of decorations in four rooms. The intention for this event appears to be that it could involve a full-scale party.

It should be stressed that this event is merely under consideration at the moment, with the team making clear that development hasn’t begun yet. However, it’s interesting to see some of the ideas being considered which could happen over the next year!

CP Rewritten: Card-Jitsu Development “Basically Done”
There’s been a lot of anticipation for Card-Jitsu on Club Penguin Rewritten lately, with the team having recently released a sneak peek showing that development had made significant process. They’ve now given another update, describing the game as in the “polishing” stages.
Card-Jitsu is soon; it’s basically done. It just needs polishing, and with a party to go with it.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorThe team also expressed an intention to hold a Card-Jitsu Party to mark the release of the game, which would also need to be developed before everything could be launched. As such, it’s quite unlikely that it’ll be released this month since February revolves around the Puffle Party, but it could certainly be a lot sooner than expected!

CP Rewritten: New Coin “Jobs” Added
As you may know, it’s currently possible to obtain coins by drilling at the Cave Mine. This involves wearing just the Construction Vest and dancing, but you need to move locations every few seconds or re-dance in order to keep earning coins. However, this system has now been extended to the following rooms:
- Pizza Parlor (requires Chef’s Hat and Pizza Apron)
- Coffee Shop (requires Coffee Apron)
- Pet Shop (requires Pet Shop Apron)

Similar to drilling at the Cave Mine, you simply need to wear the apron in the corresponding room, and dancing will earn you some coins! The concept is based on the idea of “tips” for more jobs on the island, so it’s an easy way to earn some coins while talking in different rooms.

CP Rewritten: Pirate Party Plot Conclusions
The Pirate Party has officially ended on Club Penguin Rewritten, with all of the decorations having been removed! However, you might still be curious as to how the plot all tied together, especially given the mysterious footprints which appeared on Shellbeard’s ship.
Rockhopper has written that Shellbeard was tricked into travelling to a different island that doesn’t exist with a fraudulent treasure map. In addition, Rockhopper has been able to set sail from the island safely too; whereas it was previously assumed that the sunk ship at the Beach was the Migrator, it turns out that was actually a decoy!

Alongside that, Gary has confirmed that the footprints which were found on The Black Shell did indeed belong to Herbert. It’s still a bit of a mystery why these randomly appeared, but I imagine that there’ll probably be an event later in the year which fills in some of the loose ends to the plot – perhaps Operation Swarm?

CP Rewritten: February Clothing Cover
The catalog cover for this month’s Penguin Style has been released by the Club Penguin Rewritten team! Based on the cover, it seems quite clear that there’ll be a lot of items themed around puffles within it. I’m sure that will be welcomed given how long they’ve been unavailable for!

It’s not yet known when the catalog will be released, but since clothing catalogs now tend to be updated quite early in the month, I imagine that it’ll probably be fairly soon. Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Card-Jitsu Gameplay Sneak Peek
It’s been several months since a sneak peek was released by the Club Penguin Rewritten team relating to Card-Jitsu! Although the team recently announced that the release had been pushed back to the later stages of this year, it appears that development on the game has picked up once more, as the team have shared a video featuring a full match in the new HTML5 technology.
The video above won’t be how the polished release will be like, as you can probably notice a couple of issues, but it’s really nice to see most parts of Card-Jitsu coming together! It’s also notable that the game should operate more smoothly than it did on the Flash version, with numerous common bugs also being fixed.

CP Rewritten: Mascots for 5th Anniversary Party Confirmed
It’s a bit of a tradition for mascots to visit at the Anniversary Party, and this year will be no different! The Club Penguin Rewritten team have, unusually, taken the decision to publish the full list of mascots who will be visiting throughout the event:
- Aunt Arctic
- Cadence
- Gary
- Rookie
Alongside these mascots, it’s worth noting that PH (Puffle Handler) will also be visiting for the Puffle Party later this month. It’s not yet known which mascots, if any, will have new backgrounds, but it’ll certainly be an exciting few days filled with plenty of visits! Be sure to keep an eye on the Mascot Trackers for their location and any information released about their visits! Thank you very much for reading.

CP Rewritten: 5th Anniversary Party – Rooms Sneak Peeks
Happy February! This month will mark five years since Club Penguin Rewritten began, and as a result, the Anniversary Party will be one of the most exciting to be held yet. The team previously unveiled a voting system by which penguins could opt for which rooms they’d like to see return from previous parties, and a couple of these have now been revealed in the latest set of sneak peeks below.
They include the St Patrick’s Day 2017, which will take over the Forest, and the Earth Day 2019 version of the Snow Forts. In addition, the Town will also be decorated entirely, with the puffle balloons intended to mark the return of puffles that will also happen this month.

Cake at Coffee Shop The final sneak peek is also interesting, as it features part of the cake which will be available at the Coffee Shop. Unlike previous years, it’ll be possible for your penguin to “climb up” the different layers of the cake, which will be a neat new feature.
We are working on a way for you to enter the Anniversary cake and climb up the layers, each year representing our Anniversaries – the top layer being the 5th. Once you’re at the 5th layer, you will be greeted with the brand new hat and also a cool little concert that will be scheduled.
This definitely sounds like it’l be the most exciting Anniversary Party yet, especially because of the new cake concept! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!
