CP Rewritten Times: Issue #140 – Flight
A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released! This one is notable because it contains the Coins for Change results, but it also alludes to this month’s party.
For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.
This paper revealed the Coins for Change results:
- Medical help: 23%
- Protect the Earth: 44%
- Building homes: 32%
- Total donated: 443,162,500 coins (Wow! For context, in 2017, 66,349,900 coins were donated)
It also revealed some information regarding upcoming updates:
- “The rumours seem to be true” regarding this month’s party – the most prevalent rumour is that it will be a Festival of Flight, especially after the team recently backtracked on previous comments saying it would never return. There’ll be “quite a view”
- Tomorrow, a new Furniture catalog will be released
- On January 16th, a new space-related Stage play will be released, along with a new pin
It’s really amazing to see how much was donated to Coins for Change! As a reminder, those figures serve as a vote to how a specific amount of money will be donated. I’ll let you know if figures are released translating them into actual money (they were in 2017).
Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Festival of Flight Comments Retracted
The latest edition of the Penguin Style has contained numerous items relating to flights, and have left many wondering if there will be a Festival of Flight. Previously, last year, an administrator said that party would never return.
These comments have now been retracted by Halopona, a moderator, and this was also echoed by the moderator JJ Sykes.
That (hagrid’s comments) was said a long time ago. We always listen to what the community want. If it’s something you guys really want back, chances are we have taken that into consideration.
-Halopona, Club Penguin Rewritten moderator
This could allude to another Festival of Flight, but it is unclear how the event will work considering the storyline was a one-off event. I’ll let you know if more is revealed!

CP Rewritten: Festival of Flight will not Return
You may remember the Festival of Flight on Club Penguin Rewritten from August 2017, which was quite a fun party!
Update (04/01/20): These comments have been retracted by a moderator, and echoed by another. Read more.
However, last night, the team confirmed that there won’t ever be a Festival of Flight (or Operation Blackout) ever again:
No Festival of Flight – was a one time party. It’s like how Blackout was a one time party also.
–hagrid, Club Penguin Rewritten administrator
This was because they both had stories for them, so it’s fairly understandable, but I just wanted to let you know.

Club Penguin Rewritten Times – Issue #25
After an understandable one day delay, issue 25 of the Club Penguin Times has been released, containing a few dates and some other cool content!
Whilst I would recommend reading the paper online for the best experience, as always, I will summarise the best bits of the newspaper!
Here are some of the things mentioned throughout this paper:
- The Wilderness Expedition will be starting on August 30th
- Instead of the original date, the new Snow & Sports catalog will be released later today with the Ice Rink returning in December
- New igloos will be released on September 6th
- The Festival of Flight was summarised and described as a “flying success”, though it will be ending today too
- Be sure to have a team spirit when playing with the new jerseys!
- You can ask Jet Pack Guy a question this week, not Aunt Arctic!
That’s all for this newspaper and wow, I can’t wait for the Wilderness Expedition to begin on August 30th! I’m sure it’ll be a whole load of fun as it’s one of my favourite parties ever!

CP Rewritten: Festival of Flight – FULL WALKTHROUGH
The Festival of Flight is on Club Penguin Rewritten until August 23rd and we have a full guide telling you how to complete it, from the free items to the pin!
Firstly, to complete the events of the party and be able to access the Tall Mountain, waddle over to the Forest and enter the Balloon.
You will then be in the balloon and the journey may take a few minutes to get up! Unfortunately, after reaching the Mountain, you won’t be able to get the stamp which you are supposed to get.
Exit the Balloon. Once on the Mountain, be sure to collect the Jet Pack on the bottom left of the room. The rooms for this party are super cool and this is no exception!
You also want to stop by the Plaza to pick up the Green Propellar Hat which when used, allows you to float!
There’s one more thing for you to pick up, the new pin! This is the Jet Pack located in the Ski Village.
Along with that, Jet Pack Guy will be the mascot visiting and he has an extreme stamp for if you meet him!
That’s all for this post and I do apologise for the poor quality. Since I don’t have a computer at the moment, it’s difficult to make these guides but hopefully it helped! Be sure to check back for more of the latest guides and news!

Construction Begins for the Festival of Flight
Throughout the island, you will see boxes and other construction materials scattered in preparation for the Festival of Flight!
Many rooms have different items, such as the Plaza containing blueprints on how to lift the Stage. My favourite, and probably the most detailed room, is the Forest but there’s lots of other rooms with construction materials too!
Technically, you should be able to get the Construction stamp by drilling near these items, but it doesn’t work for me. I’m assuming this is a bug and I will let you know when this stamp will be obtainable!
The party begins on August 16th and will be followed with a Wilderness Expedition and I’m really hyped to bring the island to the sky! Be sure to check back for more Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!
