CP Rewritten: Festival of Flight will not Return

You may remember the Festival of Flight on Club Penguin Rewritten from August 2017, which was quite a fun party!

Update (04/01/20): These comments have been retracted by a moderator, and echoed by another. Read more.

However, last night, the team confirmed that there won’t ever be a Festival of Flight (or Operation Blackout) ever again:

No Festival of Flight – was a one time party. It’s like how Blackout was a one time party also.

This was because they both had stories for them, so it’s fairly understandable, but I just wanted to let you know.

Thank you very much for reading, waddle on!

    • The Jet Pack Guy background probably won’t return sadly, I was hoping for that too. 😦

Herbert wasn’t a mascot with a background and stamp until Operation Blackout, so the Festival of Flight not returning shouldn’t affect that.

      • i wish there will be someway to play previous parties or at least operations, not for mascot backgrounds, but because operation blackout looks like one of the best parties ever

        • It’d be cool, but it’d kind of ruin the “magic” of parties if you like. Operation Blackout won’t ever return, but who knows, maybe some of the rooms from that event will be used in another party with a custom storyline. Though this isn’t confirmed or even likely yet, anything is possible! 🙂
