CP Rewritten: Rockhopper’s Background for the Holiday Party

    December 21, 2020 /

    View Rockhopper tracker here

Rockhopper will be visiting throughout the Holiday Party this month with a brand new background! Although the official name isn’t yet known, an image has been shared showing the full background. It depicts the Migrator and the Northern Lights, along with a festively-dressed Rockhopper!

In order to receive this background, you’ll need to meet Rockhopper in-game. The tracker should help with that, and he’ll be visiting plenty of times until the party ends, so there should be many opportunities for everyone to meet him!

    Good luck doing so!

    -Torres 126

Club Penguin Rewritten: Holiday Party 2020 – Full Guide

    December 21, 2020 /

    Screenshot 2019-12-20 at 14.25.18

The Holiday Party has started on Club Penguin Rewritten until December 31st, bringing Coins for Change, lots of beautifully decorated rooms and more to the island! This post will provide a guide to the party. 🦌

Rockhopper is confirmed to visit for this party with a new background, and you can find his tracker here.

To start with, if you click the top right gift icon on your screen, you’ll find the Coins for Change interface. It contains a total count of the number of donations. When a certain figure is reached, more rewards become unlocked, and you can click “Collect” to gain them.

I should probably also explain how Coins for Change works: the team are intended to donate real money to real charities to help real people and animals. However, a set amount of money which has already been decided will be donated. Coins for Change serves as a vote: the percentage of the vote for the three options in-game will be the percentage each charity gets.

Donation stations can be found across the island, along with on the interface. Donating any amount to any option will get you the 2020 CFC Pin.

If you haven’t already, you can also obtain three stamps through donations to Coins for Change:

    • Volunteer – donating any amount
    • Top Volunteer & Epic Volunteer – donating 10K coins in one go

Along with this, you can find a whole catalog of items by clicking the bottom right of your screen in any main room. There’s no hidden items in it, but it does offer a wide range of items!

Rockhopper has also returned to the island! If you visit the Beach, you’ll be able to board his ship if you have the key. If you’ve not already obtained the key, head to the Book Room and read the “Journal of Captain Rockhopper”. You will find the key on the last page so you can explore all the Migrator!

With this key, you can enter the Store Hold, which has a catalog that can be accessed by clicking the icon at the bottom right of your screen. It contains two secrets.

By visiting the Book Room and clicking the camera at the bottom of the room, you’ll be able to pick up the Santa Seat Background.

You can also receive the Santa’s Present Bag by delivering 15 presents on Santa’s Sleigh. To do this, head to the Arcade (Dance Lounge) and then the sleigh, and press the red release button above the chimneys.

You may already have this item from a previous Christmas Party though.

The Bakery can also be accessed from the Arcade/Dance Lounge; there’s a door to the right of the room. You can go through the Staff Entrance to enter the top half of the room (where the item is), or the usual door to access the bottom half.

The way the Bakery works is that penguins can throw snowballs at targets to produce servings of cookies. There’s three machines, and the target will appear next to each one. At the left of the room, you can find the Cookie Serving Apron for free.

At the top right of the room, you can find the Deluxe Gingerbread House Igloo. You’ll need to click the orange button on the microwave first, and then click the igloo which pops out.

The only other thing to note is there’s a really beautiful room (well, all the island is beautiful, but this one is exclusive to this party) with a huge tree that can be accessed from the bottom of the Plaza and the Town.

That concludes the guide for this event, but don’t forget to check the Advent Calendar at the Forest each day for another item! The pin guide can also be found here. Rockhopper will also be visiting with a new background soon, so stay tuned for that.

Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Details on Holiday Party Timing & Design

    December 16, 2020 /

Just two quick pieces of information regarding the Holiday Party which I wanted to share! Firstly, there’s been much speculation about if the trains which were at the event in 2013 could be added this year, but unfortunately, this won’t be happening.

Instead, the rooms will be based almost entirely on the party from last year with a couple of minor changes. If you’re curious, you can find the guide to that party here.

If you look up our 2019 party, it’ll be basically that with some small changes.

    -stu, Club Penguin Rewritten
Taken at the Holiday Party 2019

In regards to the timing, which is the second point, much of it is still unknown. However, there are two things which have been made clear:

    • The Holiday Party will definitely be releasing before Christmas Day (December 25th)
    • It will end on December 31st

There is no estimated time at the moment for the Holiday Party; our goal is this week but you never know, we’re rather busy at the moment so we ask for patience as we try and get this out.

    Holiday Party ends 31st!

    -stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administrator

Hopefully it’ll be released soon, but I’ll be sure to keep you updated on any new information as it’s shared!

CP Rewritten: Holiday Party Catalog Sneak Peek

    December 16, 2020 /

Earlier in the month, it was revealed that there would be a party catalog at the Holiday Party. For the first time, a sneak peek has now been released showing what this will look like! Check it out below.

As you can tell, it offers a whole variety of different items, and there’s going to be others which haven’t been featured yet! It seems like the team has slowly been revealing what items will appear, and I’ll be sure to keep you updated on that if anything else is shared.

CP Rewritten: Festive Puffles Sneak Peek

    December 16, 2020 /

A new sneak peek has been released about some temporary changes to puffles which will occur as part of the Holiday Party! During this event, puffles will wear some festive items. The sneak peek released features a brown puffle with antlers and a red nose – it makes the puffle look a bit like a reindeer!

Just to be clear though, this will only last for the Holiday Party, and it won’t be a permanent thing! Instead, it’s just a small little addition to bring some more festive cheer.

CP Rewritten: New Background to Feature Main Mascots

    December 16, 2020 /

As you may be aware, you can obtain a background featuring an individual mascot by meeting them on the island. However, it’s been requested in the past for there to be a background which features all the main mascots together! This is going to be happening during the Holiday Party.

I plan on releasing a background that features all the mascots (majority of the main ones) during the Holiday Party.

    -stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administrator

There’s not been any sneak peeks of it yet, but it’s still something to look forward to! Thank you for reading, waddle on!

CP Rewritten: Rockhopper to Visit this Month

    December 13, 2020 /

This is a bit of a December tradition as Rockhopper usually visits for December, but he will be doing so again this year! If you ahead to the Beacon and look through the telescope, you’ll be able to see his ship slowly approaching.

It’s likely that Rockhopper will dock and visit for the Holiday Party, though a date for that event hasn’t been revealed yet.

As always though, the Rockhopper Tracker will contain all the latest information if you’re hoping to meet him! You can find the Rockhopper Tracker here.

    Good luck!

CP Rewritten: Holiday Party Construction Begins

    December 13, 2020 /

The Holiday Party will begin on Club Penguin Rewritten later this month! As part of this, construction has begun across the island; you’ll see a lot of pipes, which will contain flowing coins as part of Coins for Change when the event begins.

In addition, there’s some snow at the Ski Hill and the Iceberg!

Probably the most notable addition though is that the Advent Calendar has been added to the Forest. From tomorrow, everyday from midnight PST, you’ll be able to click a new door on it and receive something new.

In the past, the gifts have varied from items to pins to even a colour once. It has been suggested that the majority of items within the Advent Calendar will be new, and they’re usually free, so it’s definitely something you don’t want to miss out!

Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Party Catalog at the Holiday Party

    December 12, 2020 /

December is always an exciting month to obtain items: there’ll be a new Penguin Style edition this weekend, and then the Advent Calendar will start offering gifts from December 14th! However, it also seems that there will be a catalog where penguins will be able to buy items at the Holiday Party.

I can try and add [the White Puffle Pullover] into the party catalog for the Holiday Party.

    -stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administrator

I thought that the more interesting story was the confirmation of the party catalog being present, but for those curious, this is the White Puffle Pullover being referenced!

It’s not confirmed to be included, but as you can guess from that statement above, it probably will be! Thank you very much for reading, waddle on!

CP Rewritten: Klutzy to Visit During the Holiday Party

    December 11, 2020 /

As you may be aware by now, Operation Swarm has been cancelled. For that event, Klutzy was going to make his first appearance, which has led many penguins to wonder when he’ll start visiting!

The good news is that the Club Penguin Rewritten team have confirmed Klutzy will be visiting throughout the Holiday Party, which is scheduled to occur later this month. This will provide an opportunity to obtain his stamp and background for the first time!

The Klutzy tracker should really help with meeting him, and you can find that here. It’s still unclear if Herbert will be visiting for this month too, but I’ll let you know when I have more information!
