The Holiday Party has started on Club Penguin Rewritten until January 2nd, bringing Coins for Change, lots of beautifully decorated rooms and more to the island! This post will provide a guide to the party. 🦌
When you first log on, you’ll be greeted by Aunt Arctic. She’ll inform you that something quite mysterious has happened: Rockhopper is missing on a quest, and we need to help Aunt Arctic run Coins for Change!
If you click the top right gift icon on your screen, you’ll find the Coins for Change interface. It contains a total count of the number of donations. When a certain figure is reached, more rewards become unlocked, and you can click “Collect” to gain them.
There’s also a Checklist on the bottom right, which allows you to gain some ‘easy’ coins by completing simple tasks, such as walking your puffle at the Ice Rink.
I should probably also explain how Coins for Change works: the team are intended to donate real money to real charities to help real people and animals. However, a set amount of money which has already been decided will be donated. Coins for Change serves as a vote: the percentage of the vote for the three options in-game will be the percentage each charity gets.
Donation stations can be found across the island, along with on the interface. Donating any amount to any option will get you the 2019 CFC Pin.
You can also find the Reindeer Antlers at the Ski Village, which is a free item for this party.
By visiting the Book Room and clicking the camera at the bottom of the room, you’ll be able to pick up the Santa Seat Background.
There’s also three interactive Christmas books in the bottom left of this room.
You can also receive the Red Santa Bag by delivering 15 presents on Santa’s Sleigh. To do this, head to the Dance Lounge and then the sleigh, and press the red release button above the chimneys.
You may already have this item from a previous Christmas Party though.
That concludes all the items, but don’t forget to check the Advent Calendar at the Forest each day for another item!
The only other thing to note is there’s a really beautiful room (well, all the island is beautiful, but this one is exclusive to this party) with a huge tree that can be accessed from the bottom of the Plaza and the Town.
There’s plenty of other cool rooms though, and I’d recommend checking out the Underground Pool as it has never before heard music from Screenhog. Other than that, that concludes the guide. You may want to find out about Rockhopper’s Rare Items, which you can do here. The pin guide can also be found here.
