CP Rewritten: Holiday Party 2021 – Information & Sneak Peeks
A range of information and sneak peeks have been released by the Club Penguin Rewritten team regarding the Holiday Party planned for this month! They have chosen to tease it as one which should hopefully be the “greatest one to remember” due to the huge amount of content planned for the event.
Similar to previous years, the Advent Calendar will be returning to the Forest, where it will be possible to receive a new item every single day starting from 14th December.
The other sneak peek provided of a room was the Beach, where the Migrator will be docked. As usual for the festive season, Rockhopper will be visiting throughout the month. In addition, the team also confirmed that they were planning to ensure that Treasure Hunt will return on the Migrator.
A more mysterious sneak peek was also revealed through the form of three blurred images. It is a bit difficult to tell for certain, but a common theory which seems credible is that the left and right image could indicate that “cookie” transformations will be present at this event.
This was a feature at the Holiday Party in 2012 which allowed you to eat a cookie, and turn either into a Frostbite, Racing Car or a Reindeer Puffle. It’s difficult to tell for certain though, simply because the images are too blurred. Equally, the centre image seems to relate to the previous sneak peek of a sketch.
Lastly, the team also announced that the amount of coins available by drilling in the Cave Mine would be temporarily doubled for the duration of the month. Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Holiday Construction Sneak Peek
Although it’s known that the Holiday Party will be the next party on Club Penguin Rewritten, there’s going to be a little gap between that beginning and the Festival of Lights ending. During this period, there’ll be some construction for the Holiday Party!
Although construction tends to be quite minimal, the team have released a new sneak peek that indicates things will be a bit different next month. There appears to be a couple more decorations, such as wreaths, while the nighttime sky will continue. It will also be snowing across the island!
Just to stress though, the sneak peek above is from the construction ahead of the Holiday Party, as opposed to from that event itself. Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Mysterious Holiday Sketch
A mysterious sneak peek of a sketch has been released by the Club Penguin Rewritten team! It’s difficult to tell what it depicts, but the wreaths on some of the buildings indicate that it could be something related to the Holiday Party next month.
Although this sneak peek doesn’t reveal much information, the team did also confirm that greater detail would be unveiled at some point in December.
Here is a small look at something we’re working on; it doesn’t tell you a lot about it, but that’s the beauty of waiting…you all can expect a cool sneak peek blog post arriving in December about it!
It’s definitely interesting to consider what the team has planned – the sketch looks quite unique compared to anything which we’ve seen before! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Halloween & Holiday Parties to Avoid Custom Content
A couple of details have been released about the Halloween and Holiday Parties on Club Penguin Rewritten! Last night, the team revealed that there wouldn’t be any “custom” decorations for that event – in other words, it’ll only contain rooms which have been seen before.
As the classical parties arrive very [soon], many are probably wondering the decorations we will decide to use. We will be heading back to the classic times and using the classical, loved decorations of both the Halloween Party and Holiday Party.
It’ll have the classic music with the loved decorations people enjoy. Nothing custom, for both.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorThere are probably two notable advantages to this approach, namely that it’ll be nostalgic for a lot of people who were hoping that something similar to this would occur. It should hopefully also mean that delays to these events are less likely since the development plans aren’t as ambitious, with no custom content planned. However, for those who enjoy those surprising pieces of custom content, this might be slightly disappointing.
It’s still unclear which designs the team plan to rely on, and there could still be a mix of them from across the different years. I suspect that information will only be known closer to the time though, since we are still a while away from either of those two events!

Club Penguin Rewritten: Holiday Party 2020 – Full Guide
The Holiday Party has started on Club Penguin Rewritten until December 31st, bringing Coins for Change, lots of beautifully decorated rooms and more to the island! This post will provide a guide to the party. 🦌
Rockhopper is confirmed to visit for this party with a new background, and you can find his tracker here.
To start with, if you click the top right gift icon on your screen, you’ll find the Coins for Change interface. It contains a total count of the number of donations. When a certain figure is reached, more rewards become unlocked, and you can click “Collect” to gain them.
I should probably also explain how Coins for Change works: the team are intended to donate real money to real charities to help real people and animals. However, a set amount of money which has already been decided will be donated. Coins for Change serves as a vote: the percentage of the vote for the three options in-game will be the percentage each charity gets.
Donation stations can be found across the island, along with on the interface. Donating any amount to any option will get you the 2020 CFC Pin.
If you haven’t already, you can also obtain three stamps through donations to Coins for Change:
- Volunteer – donating any amount
- Top Volunteer & Epic Volunteer – donating 10K coins in one go
Along with this, you can find a whole catalog of items by clicking the bottom right of your screen in any main room. There’s no hidden items in it, but it does offer a wide range of items!
Rockhopper has also returned to the island! If you visit the Beach, you’ll be able to board his ship if you have the key. If you’ve not already obtained the key, head to the Book Room and read the “Journal of Captain Rockhopper”. You will find the key on the last page so you can explore all the Migrator!
With this key, you can enter the Store Hold, which has a catalog that can be accessed by clicking the icon at the bottom right of your screen. It contains two secrets.
By visiting the Book Room and clicking the camera at the bottom of the room, you’ll be able to pick up the Santa Seat Background.
You can also receive the Santa’s Present Bag by delivering 15 presents on Santa’s Sleigh. To do this, head to the Arcade (Dance Lounge) and then the sleigh, and press the red release button above the chimneys.
You may already have this item from a previous Christmas Party though.
The Bakery can also be accessed from the Arcade/Dance Lounge; there’s a door to the right of the room. You can go through the Staff Entrance to enter the top half of the room (where the item is), or the usual door to access the bottom half.
The way the Bakery works is that penguins can throw snowballs at targets to produce servings of cookies. There’s three machines, and the target will appear next to each one. At the left of the room, you can find the Cookie Serving Apron for free.
At the top right of the room, you can find the Deluxe Gingerbread House Igloo. You’ll need to click the orange button on the microwave first, and then click the igloo which pops out.
The only other thing to note is there’s a really beautiful room (well, all the island is beautiful, but this one is exclusive to this party) with a huge tree that can be accessed from the bottom of the Plaza and the Town.
That concludes the guide for this event, but don’t forget to check the Advent Calendar at the Forest each day for another item! The pin guide can also be found here. Rockhopper will also be visiting with a new background soon, so stay tuned for that.

CP Rewritten: Holiday Party to be “Fun” but “Standard”
The last couple of parties, and likely Operation Swarm, have involved a lot of custom material and all been unique! However, the Club Penguin Rewritten team have given a bit more information about the Holiday Party due to occur in December this year.
Effectively, they summarised it as “pretty standard”, which is fairly understandable as there’ll be a focus on shifting to the HTML5 version just after it.
The Holiday Party [will] be pretty standard because we’ll be moving to HTML5 right after it.
-Thorn, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorRegarding what to expect by this, the team stated that custom elements (things that never happened on classic Club Penguin) are going to be limited. However, they did stress that the event will still be fun, and they’ve already stated their intention to add new Christmas items.
Christmas will be fun, but I’m not [going to] be doing many custom things for it.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorNot too much has been revealed about Christmas on the island yet, so I felt this was worth sharing! Thank you very much for reading!

CP Rewritten: Rockhopper Holiday Cutscene
Merry Christmas everyone! I hope that you really have a magical and enjoyable day. 🎄
When you log onto Club Penguin Rewritten, you’ll be greeted with a cutscene of two frames. The first depicts Rockhopper, and the second shows the Migrator almost flying in the sky.
I must admit, it is quite peculiar and I’m not completely sure it’s clear what the cutscene is foreshadowing or suggesting. Perhaps something involving Rockhopper will be happening soon! I’ll let you know if anything more is revealed about it.
Have a wonderful day!

CP Rewritten: Bakery Opens
It’s Christmas Eve, so the Bakery has now opened on Club Penguin Rewritten! It can be accessed from the Dance Lounge; there’s a door to the right of the room.
You can go through the Staff Entrance to enter the top half of the room (where the item is), or the usual door to access the bottom half.
The way the Bakery works is that penguins can throw snowballs at targets to produce servings of cookies. There’s three machines, and the target will appear next to each one.
