CP Rewritten Field-Ops: Overloaded Microphone Plot
The Music Jam is currently ongoing on Club Penguin Rewritten, but the Elite Penguin Force has gathered intelligence confirming an attempt to ruin the party is being planned, and they require your intervention in this latest Field-Op!
You’ll first need to go to the EPF HQ and load this screen before heading to the location of the Field-Op.
To complete this, head over to the Night Club Rooftop, specifically to the left microphone, where my penguin is in the image below. The room is accessible from the Dance Lounge for the duration of the Music Jam, but you’ll need to the All-Access Pass to visit it.Update: now that the Music Jam is over, this room can no longer be accessed so the Field Op is at the microphone in the Lighthouse.
Your spy phone will turn green and start bleeping. Click it!
The challenge this time is to Repair the System! by using the arrows at the bottom of the game. As this varies for each player, I can’t show you exactly how to do this, but basically use the arrows to make the robots move. You can only do this five times, and make sure not to fall off!
Gary will then thank you, award you some medals, and express his admiration.

CP Rewritten: Music Jam Catalog Extended
The Music Jam catalog which you can find at the bottom right of your screen in most exterior rooms, such as the Town, has been extended! You’ll now find a whole load of additional items, including the much-anticipated Twilight Surfboard. As I know many people will be curious, that design doesn’t appear in Catchin’ Waves.
However, the Club Penguin Rewritten team have added a secret item; if you click the top of The Foxtale on the second page of items, you’ll be able to purchase the Purple MP3000 for 400 coins.
I believe that this is the only secret contained within these additional items. Don’t forget that there’s also a daily prize for checking the dialog by clicking the top right of your screen!

CP Rewritten Times: Issue #163 – Older Items Tomorrow
A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released revealing a bit of what to expect next week, especially tomorrow when the new items are released in-game for the Music Jam under a “throwback category section”.
For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.
This edition of the newspaper reveals:
- Some older music-themed (as opposed to beach-themed) items will be re-released tomorrow under a “throwback category” section
- A new pin and postcard selection will be available tomorrow
- On July 2nd, a new Penguin Style will be released, and on July 9th, a new Furniture Catalog will be released

CP Rewritten: Cadence’s Twilight Giveaway
Cadence has made her first appearance for the Music Jam on the server Blizzard on Club Penguin Rewritten! She was tracked by the tracker, but I just wanted to write this post to inform you that she had a new background: the Twilight Background. You can see it below, along with her playercard.
As this is the first tracker visit with the new design, I know that many people will be curious on how it works. I wanted to share a quick screenshot for those who missed it; you’ll see a notification in the top right on any page informing you which mascot is online.
Congratulations if you met her, but don’t worry if you didn’t; there’ll still be plenty of visits over the course of the party so you can meet her!

CP Rewritten: Scrapped Music Jam Designs & Plans
The Music Jam has already begun on Club Penguin Rewritten but as you may be aware, it was delayed for quite a while. In that period of time, Tim and Emma both resigned from the game, but were previously working on the party. As minimal amounts of their work were used after their resignation, they decided to share it with the community!
Some of the rooms created look absolutely stunning! It should be noted that not all were complete, but I especially love the look of the Iceberg and Town with the water running through it and the tropical vibes.
More than that, a clip was shared detailing some of the design process behind the rooms which you can see above!
It’s really cool to see how these rooms come to life. The whole island looks stunning in those photos, but the map was also shared. It depicts the water travelling from the waterfall in the Snow Forts through the Town, which would’ve been a nice detail.
You can see it in comparison to the final version below.
The other major aspect of this party which appears to have been scrapped was the Interactive Concert! You may recall it being mentioned in the special Music Jam promotional page a few weeks ago.
As part of that, a special interface was developed for the party where you’d be able to unlock a new item each day and check when the next performance was at the Snowball Dome.
The Snowball Dome was a room in which six songs would be sung by Cadence, the Penguin Band, DJ Maxx or the Dubstep Puffle. These songs would have been: The Party Starts Now, The Party Starts Now Remix, Anchors Aweigh, Ghost Just Wanna Dance, Cool in the Cold and Dubstep Puffle.
On the screen below, the lyrics to the songs would appear. However, the mascots also had different animations. For example, Cadence and the Penguin Band would’ve been lowered down onto the stage before Ghost Just Wanna Dance began, as you can see in the image on the right.
As part of the concert though, there were a lot of flashy effects planned, such as potentially a variety of lights. This could be damaging for accessibility purposes, to the team designed a notice warning people about the concert.
As part of the performance of The Party Starts Now, some back-up dancers were designed. Although they were given names, they wouldn’t be properly meetable characters, but they were just intended to enhance the concert.
Lastly, but certainly not least, the team experimented with a series of logo to try and provide a beach vibe while also maintaining the traditional Music Jam logo style. In the end, the neon option was favoured, but here were some potential options that the team had considered.
This was a very ambitious party to us and unfortunately it [the designs above] never released in-game, but we’re glad you’re able to see what it was going to be like. Thank you for giving us that amazing opportunity.
-Tim (hagrid), former administrator of Club Penguin RewrittenIt goes without saying that Tim and Emma did an incredible job on these designs, and although it’s a shame they probably won’t make it in-game, I’m really glad they were released for us to appreciate!

CP Rewritten Times: Issue #162 – Music Jam
The Music Jam has just begun and the Club Penguin Rewritten Times is spreading some speculation about the next party on the island! It also reveals a bit of information regarding the future updates.
For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.
This paper reveals:
- On June 18th, a new pin will be hidden along with additional content and items added to the Music Jam. Some new postcard designs will also be available to send
- A new Penguin Style will be released on July 2nd and a new Furniture Catalog on July 18th
Something that is pretty interesting though is the shadow hinting at next month’s catalog. It seems to depict a dragon, which could suggest a Medieval Party next month, but it’s definitely too early to know for certain.

Club Penguin Rewritten Music Jam 2020 – Full Guide
The Music Jam has begun on Club Penguin Rewritten for two weeks and is filled with new items and content, including some super pretty rooms with a sunset sky!
Both the Penguin Band and Cadence shall visit for this event. You can find Cadence’s tracker here and a member of the Band’s tracker here! For full clarity, each band member’s tracker will show the location of the rest of the band too.
The first thing to note is the new interface which you can find at the top right of any room! Each day at midnight PST, you’ll be able to obtain a new item, varying from backgrounds to furniture. Some really pretty and sparkly items will be obtainable through this interface each day too!
In some of the main outdoor rooms, you’ll also find a catalog in the bottom right of your screen. After flicking through it, you can purchase the All Access Pass in this catalog for fifty coins. I’d recommend doing so as it’ll grant you access to further parts of the party.
There will also be new items available in this catalog for the second week of the party!
At the Dock, you can find DJ Maxx! I should just clarify that this isn’t actually him as a mascot, meaning you won’t get a stamp. Furthermore, DJ Maxx will not be visiting for this party. Despite this, you can still click his penguin to receive his first background that he gave away as a mascot.
With the All Access Pass, you’ll also be able to click the curtain at the Dock to head Backstage.
At the bottom left of the Backstage, you’ll find a box of instruments. When clicking them, the Music Catalog will appear. There’s a variety of instruments which you can purchase here, but there is also a hidden item as well.
If you click the word “Music”, you’ll be able to buy the Drum Sticks and the Blue Snare Drum.
The All Access Pass will also grant you the ability to visit the Night Club Rooftop! It’s accessible from the Dance Lounge. In this room, you can find the Boombox at the top left of the room for free.
Some other exclusive party rooms you can access are the Music Maker that can be found at the corner of the Snow Forts. You can also visit the Casa Fiesta from the Ski Lodge. Once again, these are both some really pretty rooms!
Although that concludes the bulk of the party, there’s a lot of really amazing rooms which I’d recommend exploring! The only other thing to note is that there are some new sweet emojis.
They were originally intended for the concert that was initially planned with this party, but I’m personally hoping they will stay permanently.
There will be more context next week, and we still can look forward to visits from the Penguin Band and Cadence so stay tuned for that! Thank you very much for reading, I hope that this guide helped!

CP Rewritten: Band Instrument Hunt 2020 – Full Guide
The Instrument Hunt has begun on Club Penguin Rewritten, ahead of the Music Jam next week! By finding five instruments hidden throughout the island, you can earn a prize, which in this case is a background. In order to find them, you simply need to click the instruments.
Here are their locations!
- Lighthouse – located at the back of the glass bottle containing the Snow Trekker, just above the crate next to the green buoy
- Pet Shop – located at the bottom right of the room, right in the very corner next to the box of Puffle O’s
- Forest – hidden between the trees behind the rock at the back of the room
- Book Room – located at the bottom left of the room, within the plant next to the chair
- Ski Lodge Attic – located to the right of the room, behind the crates and boxes near the wooden horse
After finding all of the five instruments, you should be able to click the icon at the top right of your screen and then “Claim Prize”.
By doing so, you’ll receive the Instruments Background for free!
I hope that this guide helped – thank you very much for reading! Be sure to check back for more news and guides, especially with the Music Jam starting next week.

CP Rewritten: New Music Jam Date Confirmed
As you’ll probably be aware, the Music Jam was initially scheduled for last month but due to a series of complications, it had to be delayed. Although the Instrument Hunt will begin on Club Penguin Rewritten this Thursday, the new date of the Music Jam has now been confirmed.
It’s not too surprising, but it’ll begin a week after the Instrument Hunt, so on June 11th. I’m sure that more news will be revealed in the newspaper soon, but the news was confirmed by the team earlier today.
Music Jam is a week after [the Instrument] Hunt

For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.
This edition reveals:
- The Instrument Hunt, essentially just a scavenger hunt for different instruments, shall begin next on June 4th
- A new Penguin Style will be released on June 4th too, along with a new pin
