CP Rewritten: Trick or Treat Stamp Guide
As promised yesterday, here’s a guide to obtaining the Trick or Treat stamp on Club Penguin Rewritten! There’s been a little bit of confusion regarding this stamp, but I just wanted to clarify that it’s not actually related to any of the candy hunting aspect of the Halloween Party.
You do need to complete this activity during the Halloween Party to earn the stamp though. The way to unlock the stamp is to visit 10 different Trick or Treat igloos in a single play session. In other words, you need to visit ten of these igloos without logging off.
Trick or Treat igloo The Trick or Treat igloo can be seen above, and it’s the design with the three houses. It doesn’t matter what furniture is contained inside it, and just to clarify, it has nothing to do with candy hunting. I’ve seen a lot of confusion over this, so I’m really hoping that this guide helps clear this up! Please let me know if there’s any confusion remaining though.

CP Rewritten: Dance Lounge to be Modernised
Earlier in the year, the Club Penguin Rewritten team proceeded with plans to renovate the Pet Shop to a more modern design. During the ongoing Halloween Party, the Dance Lounge has also received a more modern design, prompting many people to wonder whether if it’ll be renovated.
From tonight, it can be confirmed that the Dance Lounge will be modernised. When asked if the room would be receiving the “2011 design”, referring to the design below, the team stated it would be.
It should be noted that the image above isn’t a completely accurate reflection of the design; Bits & Bolts has never made it to Club Penguin Rewritten. However, it does provide a general picture of what to expect when the modernisation has concluded, similar to the Pet Shop!

CP Rewritten: New Gary Background Sneak Peek
As you’re likely aware, both DJ Maxx and Gary will be visiting throughout the Halloween Party on Club Penguin Rewritten with new backgrounds!
I just wanted to quickly share the sneak peek of Gary’s background which was released; it doesn’t reveal too much, although you can see some mysterious smoke. However, it does confirm that the background will be a “custom” design that hasn’t been seen previously before.
Gary will be making a lot of visits, so there’s a good chance you’ll be able to obtain this if you meet him, and hopefully the tracker will help with that!
Good luck meeting him!

CP Rewritten: Ghost Pin Location
A new pin has been hidden on Club Penguin Rewritten until November 12th! You can find this pin at the Ski Village, just to the left of the stage as shown in the image below. It’s the Ghost Pin. 👻
To obtain this pin, click it and then click “Yes”. It will be then be added to your inventory so that you can wear it as well as your stampbook! If someone is blocking it, I would suggest going on a less empty server to obtain it.
Thank you very much for reading, I hope that this guide helped! Be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Halloween Igloo Results Next Week
Just a little update if you entered the Halloween Igloo Contest from earlier this month: the results are going to be released in the Club Penguin Rewritten Times next week.
This was announced by the team yesterday, and the reasoning is so that priority can be given to focusing on the development of the Halloween Party.
Halloween Igloo Contest results should be postponed to next week so we can focus our time on the actual party.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorFor context about the scale of the Igloo Contest, there’s about 20K entries which the team are going through – there were substantially more entries but many were filtered out, such as if they included just one item. As such, it’s pretty understandable that a small staff team would require a bit more time to go through them all.
As such, if you entered, you’ll need to be a bit more patient for the results! However, I just wanted to give this update for those who did enter.

CP Rewritten: DJ Maxx to Offer New Background at Halloween
Earlier in the month, the Club Penguin Rewritten team hosted a community poll, posing the question of whether DJ Maxx should have a new background or return his previous Halloween one. That poll has now concluded, and people have favoured a new background!
In addition to that being confirmed, the team have gone further and released a small sneak peek of the new background.
If you’d like to obtain, you’d need to meet DJ Maxx during the Halloween Party when it begins later this week! You can use the DJ Maxx tracker to try and help with that.
Best of luck meeting him!

CP Rewritten: Halloween Party Starting Date Clarification
I’ve seen a ton of conversation and received several comments asking about when the Halloween Party will be released, so I just wanted to write a quick post issuing some clarification!
Generally, when a party occurs, a set date is given in advance for when the event will begin, and this tends to be a Thursday. This has been problematic in the past, particularly as there would often be delays, so that isn’t the approach which is being adopted for this week’s party.
Instead, all we know is that the Halloween Party will be out this week. Just because most updates are usually on a Thursday, it shouldn’t be assumed that the party will begin tomorrow; this was clarified a few hours ago in a statement by the team!
[The] Halloween [Party] is not [due to be] out tomorrow or any other date; it’s out when we’re finished on a day this week. Don’t let any dates mentioned by community members believe you into thinking a date is confirmed, just let us work on the party.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorSo just to stress, there is no exact date for when the party will begin, and instead it will be released when the team are finished with its development! That will happen at some point this week.

CP Rewritten: Halloween Sneak Peek – Ski Village
Another sneak peek has been released regarding the Halloween Party on Club Penguin Rewritten! This time, the image shared features the Ski Village; you can see a couple of leaves, the back of a mini-stage, and a couple of pumpkins!
One of those pumpkins even resembles Jet Pack Guy, which likely is intended to foreshadow an Elite Penguin Force event in November…
In addition to returning some classic rooms such as the Haunted Mansion, the team confirmed their intention for some “custom” (new) rooms, describing this as their “main goal” for the party.
There’s no precise date for the event to start other than the last week of October, so the party will definitely be available soon! I’ll be sure to keep you updated about any new sneak peeks.

CP Rewritten: Vote on DJ Maxx’s Background
In case you aren’t aware, DJ Maxx will be visiting (along with Gary) for the Halloween Party later this month! There’s been lots of discussion about whether or not he’ll be offering a new background, and the team have decided to leave this decision to us.
The choice is between a completely new background and DJ Maxx’s Halloween Giveaway, which is basically him depicted as a ghost, which you can see below.
If you’d like to vote:
- Go to the “Community” tab on the official Club Penguin Rewritten website
- Scroll to the Penguin Poll on the right sidebar
- Click “Login to vote” and enter your penguin’s details
- Cast your vote!
As things stand, it seems fairly likely that people are favouring a brand new background by a substantial margin, but there’s still some time to go until the voting ends!
