CP Rewritten: Modern Pet Shop Design Planned

The Pet Shop has been flooded on Club Penguin Rewritten, and construction is going to begin next week to rebuild and repair the room! However, the team have also confirmed that once the construction is complete, a more modern room design will be used instead.

You can compare the two below; the image on the left is the previous design before the flooding, and the image on the right is similar or identical to the one planned for once construction has concluded.

The change was confirmed by stu, an administrator for the game, who referred to it as the “2011 design”. I must admit that I’m much more fond of the planned design, so it’s good news to hear. Thank you very much for reading!

    Hi there again, I was wondering… will this club penguin also change in the club penguin the way it was before it got shut down like having the puffle park & the puffle hotel where you could visit the spa with your puffle and adopt a unicorn puffle and the cat & dog puffle? Because this new pet shop design looks like the version of that club penguin back then.. 🙂

    I’m actually really disappointed about this. My dad’s friend drew most of the original art and it’s very nostalgic for me. I’m really not a fan of the modern design, I wish they’d have just kept it true to the original 🙁

    I really hope that this club penguin is not modernizing like the club penguin was before it closed, I hated that modern design. This classic design is very nostalgic and reminiscent of the good times of Club Penguin. The pet shop I liked this new design,

    but the dance club at the time they changed … I hated it, there was no more excitement when many people came to dance, the room started to pump.
    Gift shop: It looked more like a fashion show than a shop to buy items. I hated it.
    Hotel puffle: I didn’t particularly like this new room. I think it should only have a special room for a puffle party.
    Puffle park, skate park: I thought it was unnecessary too. The puffle park is acceptable, but is it a skate park ?? What the hell does this have to do with pinguin?
    Cabin and loft: it was a pain in the eyes to see what they did with these two rooms.
    Coffee: The new room is not so bad. however, I go more with my face in the old room.
    Take the stage, and by shopping for puffles: The guy who had this idea at the time was the most stupid guy I’ve ever seen.
    By the time he started to modernize all the rooms on the club penguin, he started to lose his grace, it was no longer as if it were a pinguin life, there were rooms that had a piece of asphalt or sidewalk, I don’t know, and there was little snow.
    This is what I found about Club penguin (the original that was closed), referring to the subject of modern rooms.
    I hope with all my heart that this will not happen in the club penguin rewritten, but if you choose to modernize … do what, it’s part of it.

      I understand your concerns about modernisation, however I can assure you that there won’t be any rooms affected other than the Pet Shop. Most of the rooms you refer to, such as the Puffle Hotel, Skate Park and Puffle Park, were “post-2013”. The other rooms, such as the Gift Shop, Ski Lodge/Attic and Coffee Shop, had “post-2013 designs”. This Pet Shop is from 2011; it’s just a coincidence that it never received a major revamp for 2013 when the rest of the rooms did. Club Penguin Rewritten tends to follow the 2011 style, which is why it’ll be used.

    Really sorry to ask (because this doesn’t match with the article) but I’m a big fan of yours, so I just wanted to ask when will you be playing next (if replying you can use any time like GST, and pls try to make it at a Thursday, Friday or Saturday). Also do you play everyday, because, I mean how do the trackers work?

    YES!the cpr team finally modernizez rooms, It was the case, can’t wait for other things, btw there is a new cpps identical to the original cp right before it shut down, is called [redacted], maybe you should make trackers, updates and stufff also for that one

    As long as they stick with the 2010- 2012 art style, I’m good. I’m not very fond of the modern art-style (from what I’ve seen it seems like post 2012 parties were not as funas previous parties). It would be nice though if they added the smoothie smash minigame, since it was released in 2012.
