In case you’ve not already met Rookie or Rory, don’t worry! stu (an administrator) has confirmed there will be “plenty of changes” to meet at least Rookie today.
Update: Rookie and Rory visited after this was published so this post is now outdated
He said the following earlier, but please note this was after Rookie visited today, but before Rory visited again today (both on Blizzard). Therefore, Rory is still only very likely to visit again, not confirmed.
Still early so there’s plenty of chances to meet both Rookie and Rory today

Good luck meeting them both if you haven’t already! You can find a tracker to them here.
Hi everyone, this is just a super quick update to let you know that Rory was on the server Blizzard and also had a new background! His visit was really fun, as Rory explored the island and talked with other penguins!
Update: Rory and Rookie visited on September 13th and were tracked by the tracker
Here’s how the new background looks like:
He was tracked by the tracker, but is very likely to return soon, especially since he had a new background with him!
Rookie is confirmed to be visiting the island again soon after his visit last night, which was tracked by the tracker!
Note: He visited once again
It was also confirmed that Rory will be making a visit soon, and considering that the party ends tomorrow, that will probably happen today (though not confirmed)! This is what the team revealed:
There’ll be more chances to meet Rory and Rookie, don’t worry!-Club Penguin Rewritten Twitter
Although Rookie didn’t have a new background, Rory hopefully will. Good luck meeting them if you haven’t already, thank you for reading!
Rookie and Rory are confirmed to visit for the Penguin Games (which has been extended until Thursday), as stated by the administrator stu!
He revealed the news in-game, but I’d like to thank dillan172 for informing me of it.
You can view the Penguin Games mascot tracker here. Good luck meeting them, thank you very much for reading!

The Penguin Games has been confirmed to end on Monday, which is notable because since no mascots have visited just yet, it’s extremely likely some will visit in the upcoming days!
UPDATE: The party now ends on Thursday
The team’s update schedule will remain on Wednesday and Thursday (though most updates tend to be delayed by longer), but due to other delays, the party is ending on Monday.
Party ends on the 10th. Monday because we messed up our schedule with the party being delayed but our update days are still Wednesday and Thursday.-hagrid, Club Penguin Rewritten administrator
In response to feedback about it being frustrating to refresh multiple trackers, I’ve also released one page which will let you know when and which mascot is online, so feel free to check that out here whilst the Penguin Games is still ongoing.
Thank you very much for reading, waddle on!
A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released, featuring more information about the Penguin Games, and also revealing details about the future updates!
I’d suggest reading the paper for yourself for the best experience, I would suggest reading the paper for yourself, but I will summarise the news!
Rookie and Rory are announcing the event, and both are very likely to visit for the Penguin Games, and Sled Racing stamps will be coming tomorrow. On September 13th, there will be a new Penguin Style, stage play and pin, but on September 20th, the furniture catalog will be updated.
Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides!
This party is now over
The Penguin Games is on now at Club Penguin Rewritten, and it’s filled with prizes, items, events, activities and more! This post will offer a full guide to the event, sharing everything which there is to do!
Rory and Rookie are confirmed to visit for the Penguin Games, and we are tracking them both here.
Lots of information has been revealed about the Penguin Games in the most recent blog post, from mascots to a sneak peek and even an explanation of the delays!
The first sneak peek was that of the Pizza Parlor which will be decorated for Team Blue during the Penguin Games. This is how it will look like!
The team also revealed the following details about the event:
- Collect an exclusive item only available once completed sport related tasks.
- Choose YOUR team during the party, will you be Team Red or Team Blue? Pick wisely, because you’ll only be able to pick once.
- Compete against the team with our Sled Racing scoreboard available for everyone at the Ski Hill.
There’ll also be a lot of features, items and activities! Along with that, “there’ll be some familiar, and old faces returning for our Penguin Games”, which is referring to mascots will be visiting for the Penguin Games! The Rory tracker has been updated to “Likely”, but it seems multiple will be visiting.
The team also said the following about the delays:
We know a lot of penguins have been wondering as to why a lot of our updates can be delayed. I’m here to hopefully put some light on what’s been going on in the development side of things from the team that brings you the content.
A lot of our updates we’ve been bringing them out as fast as possible, and that’s been the case for a few months now, however, as Summer is coming to a close, studying can take over what we count as a hobby which is Club Penguin Rewritten.
This isn’t to say it’ll always be like this, we’re working on adjusting our schedules outside of Club Penguin Rewritten to put a lot of the content first and we’ll be improving it as best as we can, our first step on improving this will be us focusing on the next party as our Penguin Games event is going on around the island, I’m sure a lot of you can guess what the party is as it’s an annual party and a fan favourite, a lot of cotton candy will be shared that’s for sure.
We hope you understand, and we hope that you believe in us on bringing you penguins the best content as possible with the best time possible to come with it. Our number one priority is always how the party looks and feels, with very little bugs that come out with production on the servers you all play on.
The annual party being referred to is likely the Fair, which will probably be this month. Lastly, the team hinted at the “Go Red/Blue” backgrounds coming in the comments.
That’s all for now, thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides!
The Penguin Games is due to begin in a few hours time according to the Club Penguin Rewritten team, but they’ve released another sneak peek before it does! 🏁
This time, it’s a sneak peek of the Sled Racing leaderboard, which was shared by the administrator hagrid. The complete leaderboard will be coming along with the party, as well as stamps for a specific game, which is likely Sled Racing.
It looks really cool, and it seems that it might be temporary and exclusive to the games due to the display of Team Red and Team Blue! It’s also not known yet how points will be earnt or if there will be any rewards, so we’ll need to wait and see until then.
Hopefully the party should be out soon, but be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides! Thank you very much for reading.
A few more details have been revealed by the administrator stu regarding the Penguin Games, which will be coming to the island later today!
The team revealed the following about the minor delay of the party:
Party will be coming today, sorry guys, Hagrid and I just had to sleep, we were so tired
Gonna be working on it today, we all had to sleep last night, Hagrid and I tried to stay up but couldn’t
-stu, administrator for Club Penguin Rewritten
Although that gives a bit more insight on the short delay, something even more exciting was also revealed by stu about the event!
We’re doing something cool though that we’ve never customised before. In this party, it looks awesome.
-stu, administrator for Club Penguin Rewritten
We already know that there’ll be a custom Sled Racing leaderboard and also likely some Sled Racing stamps! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides!
