CP Rewritten: “Plans” for Rainbow and Gold Puffles
Given the news that puffles will be returning to the island this month, there’s been a lot of interest as to whether new types of puffles could be interested in the future. Although there won’t be any new colours immediately, the team have now stated that there are “plans” for Rainbow and Gold puffles.
We do have plans for Rainbow and Gold [puffles] – they just need to be done properly with a storyline.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorI should also note that the team haven’t given any indication of there being plans to introduce puffle creatures, such as the Unicorn and Raccoon puffles that came later in Club Penguin’s history. Instead, it seems the current intention is to stick with just colours.
It’ll be interesting to see what the storyline could involve for Rainbow and Gold puffles, but this probably will be something a while into the future! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Puffles Confirmed to Return in February
It’s news which has been heavily anticipated for a year now: puffles are confirmed to be returning on Club Penguin Rewritten at some point next month! Along with the actual return of puffles, the interface for Puffle Care will also be revamped, likely in-line with some of the sneak peeks released last year.
I should also stress that if you had any puffles before the HTML5 transition at the start of last year, those will still be in your igloo, and they haven’t been lost.
The team haven’t provided any additional information yet, but this is still a very specific release timeframe which is exciting! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Grey Puffle Bathing Animation Sneak Peek
A while back, the Club Penguin Rewritten team released an animation of the grey puffle knitting. Unfortunately, the transition to the new HTML5 technology meant that it hasn’t been released yet, but the team have resumed puffle development again! Earlier today, they released another really cute animation of the grey puffle bathing.
As a little reminder, this will likely be part of the Puffle Care interface set to be introduced when puffles return to the island. It’s still not known when that will be, but hopefully there’ll be more animations shared soon since they are really cute!

CP Rewritten: Puffles “Next In-Line” for Development
Last month, you may recall that the team announced stamp books were the main “big” feature being worked on. They’ve now stated that the “majority” of development related to them has now been completed, and that’s given them the ability to move onto their next larger project: puffles!
Puffles are now the next in-line in development!
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorIt’s still a little unclear when exactly either the stamp books or puffles will be launched. That being said, development with puffles is well underway, so hopefully it won’t be too far away!

CP Rewritten: No Puffle Party this Year
It’s generally considered a tradition for the Puffle Party to occur each year, as it has always previously been an annual event. However, the Club Penguin Rewritten team confirmed last night that the event won’t be occurring this year.
This is largely because puffles haven’t been implemented into the game yet, so the team felt it’d be a little bizarre to hold a party related to them; they also said that it’d be “too late” to hold the event later in the year, since it typically occurs around February.
The team did say that there could “maybe” be an opportunity for PH to appear at some point this year, but this isn’t confirmed. However, I recognise that the Puffle Party is a popular event so I just wanted to share this news for those who were looking for information about it!
