    CP Rewritten: Rookie’s Whacky Giveaway

    September 29, 2020 /

    View Rookie tracker here

Earlier today, Rookie made his first appearance at The Fair and was tracked by the tracker! However, as it was a new background, I wanted to share it for those who missed it! It’s custom and not seen before, but it depicts the Wagon Wheel and nighttime sky.

The background is called Rookie’s Whacky Giveaway.

If you haven’t yet had the chance to meet Rookie, don’t worry! He’ll be making plenty of visits while The Fair lasts, so best of luck meeting him then!

    Waddle on!

As promised earlier in the week, the Club Penguin Rewritten team have released a code that unlocks two items and some coins! To redeem this code, on the server selection page, click “Unlock Items Online” on the top right, and then “I’ve got a code”. Enter the code THEFAIR20 to receive the prize!

You’ll receive the Tie Dye Shirt and Candy Apple along with 20,000 coins upon doing so. The code is likely to expire soon, so I’d highly recommend redeeming it whilst you still can!

Club Penguin Rewritten: The Fair 2020 – Full Guide

    September 29, 2020 /

The Fair has begun on Club Penguin Rewritten, bringing a whole new variety of prizes and rides to the island, along with a lovely nighttime sky! This post will offer a complete guide to everything at the party, from the mini-games to the rooms.

Rookie is visiting for this event with a new background! You can view his tracker here.

    New Rooms

This event has a whole series of new rooms, so I just wanted to start by running through them! There’s a whole new Games Room, and you can access them from the Dock.

In the Games Room, you can access several Fair events (see more later in the guide) along with the Wagon Wheel and the Space Squid.

The Wagon Wheel can be entered from the left, and the Space Squid from the right.

The Wagon Wheel is an extremely beautiful room where you can see the island from above, with a pretty skyline too! The areas zoom in, and I’d highly recommend checking it out. The Space Squid is effectively a rollercoaster; if you waddle onto the light blue track, your penguin will grab a cart and slide around it!

The other party rooms are the:

    • Games Room 2 – accessible from the Snow Forts
    • Great Puffle Circus – accessible from the Forest

For those curious about how this all looks put together, here’s a wonderful map compiled by Degarmoo that demonstrates the places across the island!

Thank you to Degarmoo for the map!

    Prize Booths

Tickets can be earned in mini-games to achieve prizes! There are two stand locations, the Forest and outside the Great Puffle Circus (which is also accessible from the Forest).

Week two of prizes has arrived, bringing some new items (including hidden ones) to the booths! Click here for a guide.

There will be more prizes next week too!

    Spin to Win

This can be found accessible from the Dock. In order to “spin to win”, you’ll need to collect a golden ticket. You can earn one by playing Fair games, and one should drop around every ten minutes, but you should also get one when first logging in. You can also use 10K tickets to obtain a golden ticket.

Each spin offers the chance to get a mystery prize! Here are all the mystery prizes which you can obtain.

    Items from Last Year

If you attended The Fair last year, you’ll already have these!

The Snowcone Pin is located at the Coffee Shop, but it is a bit of a challenge to obtain it! You need to throw a few snowballs into the top of the machine (circled in the picture below), and then wait a bit as a reaction takes place. After a few seconds, the pin will come out and you simply need to click it to be able to obtain it!

Head over to the Ski Village and click the camera on the bottom right! You will be able to obtain the “Step Right Up” background for doing so! This is the only free item in this party.

There’s also an item at the Lighthouse! You can obtain the Luxury Cowboy Hat.

There’s still plenty more items and pins to earn, but that’s in the booths! Equally, a code has been released for 20K coins, the Tie Dye Shirt and the Candy Apple! It’s THEFAIR20, and you can read more on that here.

    Other Games

    Memory Card Game:

    • Location: Forest
    • Instructions: Find matching pairs in the fewest number of tries to earn the most tickets!
    • Recommendation for tickets: High

    Ring the Bell:

    • Location: Games Room 1 via Dock
    • Instructions: When the hammer is in the centre, click your mouse and hold it until it is as green as it can get!
    • Recommendation for tickets: High (Max: 25 – however you can get many in just a few seconds)

    Puffle Shuffle:

    • Location: Games Room 1 via Dock
    • Instructions: Puffles will float around under a hat, and you need to watch which one moves underneath which hat!
    • Recommendation for tickets: Medium

    Balloon Pop:

    • Location: Area accessible from the Snow Forts
    • Instructions: Use the fan to blow your puffle’s balloon into the targets, so that the targets hit the cactus!
    • Recommendation for tickets: Low (I always found it difficult, but you may not!)

    Puffle Soaker:

    • Location: Area accessible from the Snow Forts
    • Instructions: Use the space bar to shoot water, making sure you hit the puffles and not the penguins. Also use the down button to duck when objects are thrown at you!
    • Recommendation for tickets: Medium

    Feed-a-Puffle:

    • Location: Area accessible from the Snow Forts (thanks WhelanDealin for spotting this error!)
    • Instructions: Try and blast O’Berries into as many puffle’s mouths as possible, but be aware that it will get harder as the game goes along!
    • Recommendation for tickets: High

    Puffle Paddle:

    • Location: Forest
    • Instructions: The famous Puffle Paddle! Use your paddle to make sure that your puffle does not fall, but be aware that it gets more tricky as you will have to balance puffles simultaneously to get the most tickets!
    • Recommendation for tickets: High

    Rookie’s Whacky Giveaway

Rookie is already making appearances for The Fair! The tracker has tracked him, and you can view that here. However, I also wanted to share his background for those curious: it’s a custom one which depicts the Wagon Wheel!

I hope that this guide helped, definitely be sure to explore The Fair as there’s so many amazingly decorated rooms! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Fair Delay – 20K Coins & Two Items

    September 28, 2020 /

As you’re likely aware by now, The Fair was supposed to release on Club Penguin Rewritten last week. Earlier today, the team shared another update relating to the delay.

We are still working hard behind the scenes to make sure things are running smooth. Our original plan was to release the party over the weekend, however, that has clearly been thrown out of chance. The reasoning for the delay would be recovery of sickness, and due to this the motivation for one of our developer was at a loss.

    -stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administrator

In addition to this, the team unveiled new compensation as an apology for the delay: when the Fair is available, a code will be released that unlocks 20K coins and two past items. The team also stated their intention to extend the party for as many days as it’s delayed – in other words, the party will last two weeks from the date which it’s released.

Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: October Clothing Cover Sneak Peek

    September 26, 2020 /

It’s quite strange to think that Halloween is just over a month away! As always, there’ll be a spooky event to celebrate it on Club Penguin Rewritten, along with a new Penguin Style that’ll probably be filled with different costumes.

Earlier today, the team released a small sneak peek of the catalog. It just reveals the top of the catalog cover, but you can see the spooky clouds and a tree.

It’s not yet known what items the Penguin Style will contain, but I’ll be sure to keep you updated when more is revealed! Enjoy the rest of September until then though!

CP Rewritten: Code for The Fair Next Week

    September 25, 2020 /

Last month, there was some confusion when the team stated that they were planning to release a code, but that never happened. However, it’s now been confirmed that there will be a code at some point next week!

We will be returning an item unlock code for the Fair next week due to popular demand. We’ve heard your [requests] on us bringing back item codes, we are listening!

    -stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administrator

Once the code has been released, I’ll be sure to share it here, so be sure to check back then! Until then, it’s quite a mystery what the code could be for…

CP Rewritten: Fair Sneak Peek – Wagon Wheel

    September 25, 2020 /

The Fair is due to begin soon on Club Penguin Rewritten! In order to build up anticipation for this, the team have shared two sneak peeks of both a room that appears to be based around the Snow Forts, and the Wagon Wheel!

For those curious, the Wagon Wheel is the view from the image on the right; you can see it in the background in the left image. The image on the left also depicts the Spin to Win game.

The Wagon Wheel was found in The Fair during 2014 on classic Club Penguin, and it was a really cool room! You could see the island move as the wheel mimicked a rotation, and the island would scale as it moved!

Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

    CP Rewritten: Fair Delay Statement

    September 25, 2020 /

The Fair shall be releasing soon on Club Penguin Rewritten! However, as you may be aware, there have been understandable complications with updates this month, particularly as an administrator suffers medical issues.

Last night, the team released a statement about the delay, and I just wanted to share it for those who missed it.

We are excited to release The Fair for everyone and we hope that it lives up to the expectations that we’ve been putting out. Please keep in mind that this is a big update with many rooms that have been changed up for the sky and more.

As we work on testing things, we must urge players to be patient with us as we work on releasing. As always, the party will be releasing no matter what, but timings can be off as we try and get back into the swing of things due to developer sickness.

The Fair Party will be lasting for two-weeks, during that time, we will have a week-two content drop which includes more Fair prizes. During this, we will also be working on our October content to make sure everything is ready on time. We understand our schedule is quite messy at the current moment with the Fair lasting until early October, however, this was definitely the right choice for us as we had complications IRL [in-real-life].

We will be making sure our schedule is back to normal in October, thank you again.

    -stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administrator

I’ve highlighted the bit related to in-game content which confirms that there’ll be additional content for the second week of The Fair! I’ll be sure to keep you updated with anything else that the team reveals.

    Waddle on!

CP Rewritten: Balloon Bunch Pin Location

    September 21, 2020 /

A new pin has been hidden on Club Penguin Rewritten! You can find this pin at the Forest, towards the top of the room by the rock – it’s pretty clear and difficult to miss! It’s the Balloon Bunch Pin. 🎈

To obtain this pin, click it and then click “Yes”. It will be then be added to your inventory so that you can wear it as well as your stampbook! If someone is blocking it, I would suggest going on a less empty server to obtain it.

Thank you very much for reading, I hope that this guide helped! Be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!
