CP Rewritten Times: Issue #164 – Magical Book

    June 24, 2020 /

A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released that recaps some of the Music Jam while putting a rest to the speculation regarding yesterday’s emojis hints: Rockhopper is sailing towards the island!

For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.

    This paper revealed:

    • In regards to the next party, there seems to be an acknowledgement that “the fans want more DJ Maxx”, though it also seems to involve Gary. It’s covered in an interview on page A3, but is the sort of language where people will likely form their own judgements upon
    • Rockhopper is sailing to the island with a “magical book”, causing Gary to be “nervous”. The Migrator arrives July 9th.
    • A new Penguin Style will be released on July 2nd, along with a new pin, whereas the new Furniture Catalog will be released on July 9th

This mystery regarding Captain Rockhopper is likely one that’ll come up again soon – I wonder what this mysterious book is…

This edition of the newspaper reveals:

    • Some older music-themed (as opposed to beach-themed) items will be re-released tomorrow under a “throwback category” section

CP Rewritten Times: Issue #162 – Music Jam

    June 12, 2020 /

The Music Jam has just begun and the Club Penguin Rewritten Times is spreading some speculation about the next party on the island! It also reveals a bit of information regarding the future updates.

For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.

    This paper reveals:

    • On June 18th, a new pin will be hidden along with additional content and items added to the Music Jam. Some new postcard designs will also be available to send
    • A new Penguin Style will be released on July 2nd and a new Furniture Catalog on July 18th

Something that is pretty interesting though is the shadow hinting at next month’s catalog. It seems to depict a dragon, which could suggest a Medieval Party next month, but it’s definitely too early to know for certain.

CP Rewritten Times: Issue #159 – Smoothie Smash Being Added

    May 21, 2020 /

There’s been a lot of negative news recently, so I’m really pleased to report on something a bit more positive! Although the Music Jam has been delayed, it was revealed something would replace it, and that has now been announced: Smoothie Smash is coming to the island!

For those unaware, it was originally planned in 2019, and is essentially a mini-game where the aim is to squash fruit whilst your penguin bounces on a conveyor belt. It’s a bit chaotic, but it could be fun too!

For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.

    This paper confirms:

    • Smoothie Smash will be released later today. Unlike classic Club Penguin where it was at the Coffee Shop, it will be located at the Stadium
    • A new pin will also be released today
    • The Music Jam has been indefinitely delayed

Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

That being said, it does provide a guide to the plays in the vote for the Penguin Play Awards, along with a sweet message on Earth Day!

For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but there is no news in this one.
