CP Rewritten Times: Issue #164 – Magical Book
A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released that recaps some of the Music Jam while putting a rest to the speculation regarding yesterday’s emojis hints: Rockhopper is sailing towards the island!
For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.
This paper revealed:
- In regards to the next party, there seems to be an acknowledgement that “the fans want more DJ Maxx”, though it also seems to involve Gary. It’s covered in an interview on page A3, but is the sort of language where people will likely form their own judgements upon
- Rockhopper is sailing to the island with a “magical book”, causing Gary to be “nervous”. The Migrator arrives July 9th.
- A new Penguin Style will be released on July 2nd, along with a new pin, whereas the new Furniture Catalog will be released on July 9th
This mystery regarding Captain Rockhopper is likely one that’ll come up again soon – I wonder what this mysterious book is…

Not sure, in all honesty. He often gets mentioned in association to things without actually visiting, but it’s still possible!

Torres, when I was looking at the DJ Maxx page i saw that in the description of his first animated BG, it said
“DJ Maxx’s first background is super cool, as its animated and exclusive to Club Penguin Rewritten! This background could be obtained when he visited the Music Jam in 2017 & 2018 and the Waddle on Party in 2018. It could also be obtained by clicking him at the Dock for the Music Jam in 2019, where it was not necessary to properly meet him.”

I’ve been intentionally trying to avoid doing so, I’m afraid; there’s a story behind that change which I can’t personally disconnect from the updated content, so there’s a real risk of re-igniting those issues here again.
