CP Rewritten: Operation in November – Sneak Peek
Earlier today, the Club Penguin Rewritten team released a sneak peek depicting what (presumably) refers to the name of the November event after the Halloween Party. It effectively confirms that the following party will be titled “Operation” followed by something else.
The key piece of information, the full title, has been redacted though, and it can’t be made out. As a result, we don’t quite know what that “something else” may be…

The image above is the sneak peek which they posted, and as you can tell, it’s pretty limited! But it does indicate there’s something coming up that we can look forward to.

CP Rewritten: Trick or Treat Stamp Guide

As promised yesterday, here’s a guide to obtaining the Trick or Treat stamp on Club Penguin Rewritten! There’s been a little bit of confusion regarding this stamp, but I just wanted to clarify that it’s not actually related to any of the candy hunting aspect of the Halloween Party.
You do need to complete this activity during the Halloween Party to earn the stamp though. The way to unlock the stamp is to visit 10 different Trick or Treat igloos in a single play session. In other words, you need to visit ten of these igloos without logging off.

Trick or Treat igloo The Trick or Treat igloo can be seen above, and it’s the design with the three houses. It doesn’t matter what furniture is contained inside it, and just to clarify, it has nothing to do with candy hunting. I’ve seen a lot of confusion over this, so I’m really hoping that this guide helps clear this up! Please let me know if there’s any confusion remaining though.

CP Rewritten: DJ Maxx’s Haunted Giveaway
DJ Maxx has already made two appearances for the Halloween Party, and has been tracked on both occasions by the tracker, but he’ll be making plenty more throughout the event! As always with a new background though, I just wanted to share it for those who haven’t had the chance to take a look at it yet.
This is the background which he’s currently visiting with – it’s new, and called DJ Maxx’s Haunted Giveaway.

If you didn’t meet him, don’t worry! He’ll be making plenty of visits throughout the Halloween Party, along with Gary, so there really will be a lot of opportunities to catch him, and I hope the tracker helps you with that.

CP Rewritten: Reminder of Political Discussion Ban
It’s not entirely a secret that the American election between Trump and Biden has caused deep divisions – not helped by how the electoral process has been challenged. However, I wanted to share this quick reminder as I’ve read a lot of comments and emails about people questioning why they’ve been punished for saying something about either of the two candidates.
As a result, I just wanted to write a quick post in order to try and stop people from receiving punishments without realising they are violating the rules: political discussion on Club Penguin Rewritten isn’t allowed, and could result in a temporary ban.

On a completely separate note, I just wanted to say that although the election has been divisive and the results aren’t clear yet, it’s still important to be kind and recognise there is far more which unites people than divides them, even in these turbulent times.
Above all though, regardless of what happens in the next few days, please remember not to discuss it (or the candidates) in-game since there’s a lot of people being punished for that.

CP Rewritten: Plans for New Christmas Items
November may have only just begun, but the Club Penguin Rewritten team have signalled their intention to release new items in the build-up to Christmas next month! The news was revealed by the team last night.
I have plans for new items for Christmas
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorIt’s still unclear how these new items will be distributed – generally, there tends to be an Advent Calendar in December to allow people to obtain something new each day, and many slots will contain an item. It’s probable that could return this year, which would provide an opportunity for plenty of new items, but that hasn’t been confirmed yet.

Until then though, the Halloween festivities are still ongoing on the island! I just wanted to share this news for people who are interested, as December is usually a lovely month of the island.

CP Rewritten: Dot Will Not Visit in November
Happy November! Given that this month is going to contain a lot of content related to the Elite Penguin Force, many penguins have been wondering if some agents will be visiting throughout the month, particularly as Herbert will be appearing this month.
As Dot last appeared 221 days ago for the Fashion Festival, many have been wondering if she could appear later this month since she is an EPF agent. In order to dispel any theories, I just wanted to share that the Club Penguin Rewritten team have confirmed that Dot will not be visiting in November.

Herbert will be visiting later this month, and the Club Penguin Rewritten team would neither confirm nor deny plans for Jet Pack Guy to visit, so we’ll need to wait on that! I’ll be sure to keep you updated with any new information as it’s revealed!

CP Rewritten: Dance Lounge to be Modernised
Earlier in the year, the Club Penguin Rewritten team proceeded with plans to renovate the Pet Shop to a more modern design. During the ongoing Halloween Party, the Dance Lounge has also received a more modern design, prompting many people to wonder whether if it’ll be renovated.
From tonight, it can be confirmed that the Dance Lounge will be modernised. When asked if the room would be receiving the “2011 design”, referring to the design below, the team stated it would be.

It should be noted that the image above isn’t a completely accurate reflection of the design; Bits & Bolts has never made it to Club Penguin Rewritten. However, it does provide a general picture of what to expect when the modernisation has concluded, similar to the Pet Shop!

CP Rewritten: New Gary Background Sneak Peek
As you’re likely aware, both DJ Maxx and Gary will be visiting throughout the Halloween Party on Club Penguin Rewritten with new backgrounds!
I just wanted to quickly share the sneak peek of Gary’s background which was released; it doesn’t reveal too much, although you can see some mysterious smoke. However, it does confirm that the background will be a “custom” design that hasn’t been seen previously before.

Gary will be making a lot of visits, so there’s a good chance you’ll be able to obtain this if you meet him, and hopefully the tracker will help with that!
Good luck meeting him!

Club Penguin Rewritten: Halloween Party 2020 – Full Guide

The Halloween Party has taken over the island on Club Penguin Rewritten, and it’s a particularly spooky event with lots to explore! This post will provide a full guide to the party, from the transformations to collecting candy.
Both DJ Maxx and Gary will be visiting with new backgrounds, and you can find their trackers here and here respectively.
Monster Maker
The Monster Maker contains a ton of Halloween costumes, and there’ll be more for the second week of the party! In order to access it, you need to head to the Book Room, where there’ll be a passage in the bookcase.

You’ll then access the Monster Maker 3000! It’s an impressive room, but the thing to note is that there’s a catalog which can be accessed by clicking the bottom right of your screen.
There are no hidden items in this catalog, but there are multiple pages, so be sure not to miss anything out!
Pumpkin Head Item
There is a free item that can be found at the Haunted House! You can access this room from the Mine Shack or the Forest and entering the building. The free item is the Pumpkin Head Item.
I think the images make this more clear, so here you go!
Candy Hunting
Let me just briefly explain how candy hunting works: essentially, you can find candy across the island (see below) and these can be exchanged for prizes, which are items. You can access the items by clicking the candy icon at the top right of your screen.

There’s effectively two main ways to find candy. Firstly, in the main outdoor rooms, there’ll be three different pieces of candy hidden every couple of minutes. These will always be pink, orange and light blue, and they’ll always be in the same location.
For example, at the Dock, you can find them here. Please remember though that the candies will change the rooms that they’re present in every few minutes – so check all around the outdoor main rooms!

Searching around the island is one way to get candy, but the other is by visiting igloos. Effectively, you’re looking for this item, which you can find in the Furniture Catalog – if you have it, be sure to keep it out!
The way that this works is you can get one candy per igloo per day. In other words, the same igloo won’t give you candy twice in a single day! It doesn’t matter how many people have already found candy at that igloo.

Transformations
It’s possible to become a ghost and a zombie for this event! Let’s start with becoming a ghost.
Transforming into a ghost:
Becoming a ghost requires exploring the Haunted Mansion, so here’s some steps to access that:
- Start at the Forest and click the path at the top right of your screen
- Enter the Haunted Mansion through the gate
- In the first room, go right
- In the second room, go through the door at the top
- In the third room, use the path on the right
- This will lead you to the Ghost Chamber
Note: there’s a couple of rooms that you can’t access in the Haunted Mansion; it doesn’t matter how many people are collected together as ghosts.
Once you’ve got this far, all you need to do is enter the chamber in the middle! After a couple of seconds and some magic, your penguin will emerge outside it again…this time as a ghost!

Transforming into a zombie:
It’s also possible to become a zombie! This process is a little different.
- Go to the Graveyard (accessible from the Mine Shack or the Forest – second one from the top right)
- Wait around
- Eventually, a zombie will start to emerge from the ground
- Waddle to the location of the zombie
- It should touch you after a couple of seconds
Once you’ve been touched by this zombie, you’ll also become a zombie!
In both cases, you can transform back by clicking your playercard, where you’ll find a button to revert the change.
Conclusion
The last thing to note which you may have missed are the new emotes. There’s a spooky vampire laugh, a ghost, and a pumpkin!

This party truly is remarkable, and I’d highly recommend checking out all the rooms – they’re all decorated, and many are even “custom” designs! There’ll be more content for the second week of the event, including the iconic Halloween Scarf, along with mascot visits throughout the next fortnight.

CP Rewritten: Ghost Pin Location
A new pin has been hidden on Club Penguin Rewritten until November 12th! You can find this pin at the Ski Village, just to the left of the stage as shown in the image below. It’s the Ghost Pin. 👻

To obtain this pin, click it and then click “Yes”. It will be then be added to your inventory so that you can wear it as well as your stampbook! If someone is blocking it, I would suggest going on a less empty server to obtain it.
