CP Rewritten Times: Issue #177 – Zombies
A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released! The winners for the Halloween Igloo Contest will be revealed in the next edition on October 29th.
For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.
To be honest, this paper doesn’t reveal anything new if you’ve been following the recent posts: the Anniversary Party will occur tomorrow, Sensei and Aunt Arctic will visit, the Iceberg will be tippable, and you can transform into a zombie at Halloween where a special item (likely the Halloween Scarf) will return.
I did just want to make this post though as it marks the conclusion of the Halloween Igloo Contest too, so good luck if you entered that! The judges will now make a decision…

CP Rewritten: 15th Anniversary Party Sneak Peek
On October 24th, an Anniversary Party celebrating classic Club Penguin turning fifteen years old will occur! Both Sensei and Aunt Arctic will be visiting for this event, and the Coffee Shop (and likely a few surrounding areas) will be decorated.
The first sneak peek of the rooms at the event was released earlier today! It shows some of the decorations in the Coffee Shop, including a fragment of the cake that will be present.

CP Rewritten: Sensei’s Background for Anniversary Party
Almost exactly a year ago, the Club Penguin Rewritten team said there’d be more chances to obtain Sensei’s then-new “Elemental Giveaway” soon. It turns out that “soon” has meant a year, but that chance will be available this week!
In other words, for the Anniversary Party that will occur on October 24th, Sensei will be visiting with the background below. So far, it was only available at the Anniversary Party in 2019.
Aunt Arctic will also be visiting for this event, and the Club Penguin Rewritten team have stated that they’re unsure of what background she could offer; it could be a new one, but this is dependant on time constraints within the development team before the event begins.

CP Rewritten: Aunt Arctic & Sensei to Visit for Anniversary Party
A couple of further details have been confirmed about the Anniversary Party on October 24th. Firstly, while the decorations and items will only be present at the Coffee Shop for that day only, it’ll be possible to tip the Iceberg during the event and a few days after it concludes.
Secondly, the Club Penguin Rewritten team have confirmed that Sensei and Aunt Arctic will be visiting for the event. Sensei likely isn’t a surprise as this was strongly hinted before, but Aunt Arctic will also be making an appearance.

CP Rewritten: Halloween Sneak Peek – Zombie Transformations
A new, and likely final, sneak peek of the Halloween Party has been released by the Club Penguin Rewritten team! This one effectively confirms that it’ll become possible to transform into different creatures once the event has begun.
The sneak peek also depicts the zombie transformation – it’s pretty spooky! 🧟
For those wondering, although this transformation was first present at the 2013 Halloween Party on classic Club Penguin, this year’s party won’t be from then as revealed by the team’s statement: “this isn’t the 2013 Halloween Party. Custom rooms from us”.

CP Rewritten: Spooky Pizza Parlor Treats Sneak Peek
Earlier today, a sneak peek was shared of the Pizza Parlor during the Halloween Party! That only depicted the areas surrounding the doors though, and the Club Penguin Rewritten team have now shared an additional sneak peek.
This new sneak peek focuses on the tables of the room instead, and instead of pizza…it’s been filled with treats!
It definitely looks like the room is going to have a spooky atmosphere once the party begins though. Thank you for reading!

CP Rewritten: Halloween Pizza Parlor Sneak Peek
A new sneak peek has been released of the Halloween Party due to begin later this month on Club Penguin Rewritten! It shows the area near the doors of the Pizza Parlor, and it seems that the room is going to have some rather spooky decorations…
It appears that this could be a heavily “custom” room – in other words, there doesn’t appear to be a clear design from classic Club Penguin where it’s derived from.

CP Rewritten: Halloween Party – Candy Hunting
It’ll be possible to hunt for different types of candy during the Halloween Party on Club Penguin Rewritten! The way that this will work is candies will be used as a currency to allow people to purchase items from a catalog, similar to Fair tickets earlier in the month. 🍬
If this sounds familiar, it was the system used during the Halloween Party in 2013! The team did stress that the party wouldn’t be a “2013 one”, and that it’s a “custom idea”, however Trick Or Treat Pumpkin involved in this has also now been released as a furniture item in the latest catalog.
During the Halloween Party, this item will also provide candy, and that will help yourself and others work towards earning enough to purchase new items!

Club Penguin Rewritten: Furniture Catalog Secrets – October 2020
A new Better Igloos catalog has been released on Club Penguin Rewritten, filled with a whole variety of spooky items (including some more modern ones!) for Halloween.

As always, in this post, I will be sharing all the secrets/cheats inside the catalog! A circle and an arrow represents that a secret is hidden there and the image next to it is the item which you can get by clicking there.
Page one contains the Wall Ghost, The Glowing Grin and the Tombstone.
Page two contains The Spooky Surprise, the Laughing Lantern and the Mini Ghost.
Page three contains another two secrets: the Bone Fence and the Haunted House Wall.
Page four contains the Abandoned Mine Entrance, the Abandoned Mine Wall, and the Haunted House Entrance.

CP Rewritten: EPF Communication Issues…
As you may recall from last week, the Club Penguin Rewritten team recently announced plans for Herbert to return, subsequent to declaring their intention for more EPF content this year. In the latest update, some sinister changes to the EPF have occurred…
If you try using your Spy Phone, you’ll find that it’s broken! You can still waddle manually into the EPF HQ, but even there, the Field-Ops screen has completely broken too.
It seems that Herbert is plotting something already…it’s not quite known what yet! However, last week, the team shared an image. I didn’t post it as I thought it was a joke; it’s based on a game that’s pretty popular right now.
I’m going to share it as the team have subsequently said that it wasn’t a joke, and with this change, I’m inclined to believe that’s the case!
In regards to what’s being planned for the EPF, it really seems like a mystery! I’ll be sure to keep you updated if anything new is revealed!
