CP Rewritten: Gary to Visit for Medieval Party

Gary does typically visit for Medieval Parties, and many have been expecting him to make an appearance at this year’s too since the newspaper has referenced him so heavily.
This has now been formally confirmed by stu, an administrator on the Club Penguin Rewritten team: Gary will definitely be visiting for the Medieval Party beginning on July 23rd!
Until then though, Rockhopper will already be visiting the island, so good luck meeting him too! Thank you for reading!

Rockhopper hasn’t visited yet; it’s true that I accidentally marked him as online for a few seconds, which automatically tweeted it out! I deleted it pretty quickly and issued an apology on Twitter for those who were notified.
Essentially, I was (am) writing some code but I accidentally started testing it on the live version rather than the private one!

ok! I just wanted to know. if he was on though people would “crowd surge” lol. but i use your tracker a lot. or have been since i started. thanks for doing it. either you have a lot of time on your hands or were an introvert from the start. not trying to be offensive, but that was a joke

Haha, I definitely have a lot of time on my hands currently due to the lockdown anyway. The tracker has multiple people helping, but I was working on improving it yesterday when the issue occurred.

Sorry to hear you missed him, but yes, he did say that he was coming this whole week. I don’t control when mascots visit, but there’ll definitely be plenty of visits in the week ahead!

It’s sort of random, but you can try and predict it by looking at the servers Rockhopper has visited before! There’s a list on the tracker.

Hi I have a question that isn’t related to mascots. Rumors are that there is a new club penguin coming and its going to be like the original club penguin. same map and stuff same catalogs and basically a complete replica of the og I wanted to ask if this is true and if you know anything about it?

There are no plans by Disney for classic Club Penguin to return with an official version, however I suspect you’re referring to a new private server which I don’t have many details about! 🙂

Is it true that club penguin is American? Because that might have something to do with why it hasn’t been released yet. It even says the timing for Anchorage in snow forts.

Club Penguin Rewritten’s staff are based in Britain. Its timezone, however, is the Penguin Standard Time (essentially Canadian time in British Columbia).
