CP Rewritten: HTML5 Transition – Transfers Complete
Just a little quick update for everyone about the HTML5 transition period: all accounts have now been transferred by the Club Penguin Rewritten team. All that’s left now is testing, but sadly, it isn’t really clear how long this could still take.
As a reminder, the game will definitely be back by the end of the month, but beyond that, the team have been reluctant to reveal precise details. A lot of it relies on how many bugs are currently on the island!

Today marks a sad day in the HTML5 transition period too: Adobe Flash, the technology which supported Club Penguin, has formally been retired. However, the game should hopefully be back soon with the HTML5 client once testing has concluded!
Waddle on!

Congratulations, CPR team! Stu, Thor, & the rest! I hope the testing goes well before they actually launch. Hey Torres, can you make a meet up for you and everyone? 😀
Torres 126
Hey! I did a meet-up quite recently on the 23rd December – maybe another one in the future!

Hey, Torres! I hope everything is all well in CPR! By the way, how are we going to know if the mascot tracker will also be able to work?
Torres 126
Hi! The Mascot Tracker should work exactly the same and won’t be affected by the change in technology. 🙂
mikey
this is outdated they said all 8 million accounts were done on the 8th on there discord
Torres 126
7 million was the figure published on the 10th.

This video shows how to play flash games (on browsers) after January 12, 2021
Torres 126
Interesting! I haven’t tried changing my device time and seeing if that works.

Oh wait did I say “my video” in my reply that isn’t yet approved? Lol, I actually meant “the video”

Sorry! I tend to remove links – it’s not your fault at all, I just get a bit worried that people could sometimes be redirected to a site which contains something inappropriate.

Hey, Torres! I thought doing a collabration will be cool for your blog! Can you collab with the well-known Club Penguin YouTuber, TigerOfWind? It will be so cool Torres!
Torres 126
Hi! I’ve never really considered a collaboration with anyone before, I’m not sure how it’d work!

Hey Torres ! So is it possible to assume that over the next few days the site will be open ? ‘Cause I really miss playing CPR ! 😐☹🙁
Torres 126
I wouldn’t assume it per se, but it’s definitely reasonable to be hopeful for it!

To be honest, if you download an older version of Flash Player from Wayback Machine that doesn’t have the kill switch, you can still use Flash in browsers other than Chrome. And you don’t even need to go too far back – the last version of flash before the kill switch was added is 32.0.0.371 from May 2020. Standard rules of caution apply – flash wasn’t killed without a reason. Be careful what websites you’re browsing.
Torres 126
Oh, wow – interesting!
